It was nice to find a local grocery store and be able to find a few snacks and drinks for the road without having to shop at the big national chain store. Friendly folks and a clean store, thankfully the girl at the checkout asked if I had a shoppers card and when I said I lived in North Carolina, she ran the "store" number so I could get the discount. That was nice. Otherwise, prices are high.

I've always enjoyed shopping at this local brookshires but the last 2 times were not pleasant at all. Before anyone comes for me, please know I've always given great kudos to upper management and corporate. These past 2 encounters were negative because of how this new manager ( not sure if he's new or not) treated me and several other customers. We all love a good sale, however, none of the information regarding the sales indicated the quantity for this particular item. I get to the register and the manager yanked my items right out my hand and told me I could only get 2. I decided to leave them all there. I told him there was no signage that indicated quantity. I really never wanted to go back in that store but we're pretty limited on places to shop. The next time was fairly ok since I made my purchase through the pickup option. I'm a sucker for fish so I decided to go in to the hot food section to grab a few pieces. I really didn't want to but again, we limited on things in this town. As I'm entering the store, I saw this same manager talking very rude to several customers. To say the least, that was a major no no. Usually, I would go directly to higher ups with concerns but he's the head person for this store. I enjoy brookshires but the way this managers treats customers is outrageous.

Nice clean store. A bit more expensive than WalMart. The deli is great, lots of wonderful prepared in-house foods. Shop there when I need to.

Brookshires I love, the Walgreen Pharmacy In there is a hot mess. You get 4 different answers from 4 different people. They don't have common medicines in stock. Their new system is horrible. Maybe one day it'll be a decent Pharmacy, after changing from Brookshire's Pharmacy to Walgreens pharmacy, but right now it's not and I'm looking for a new Pharmacy.

Brookshires is a little higher priced than other grocery stores in the area but having to switch to their pharmacy so shopping the sales. Produce seems better there

If you don’t have the app on your phone it’s going to be expensive! So be aware!I’ve been to this store a few times.I tried to get the app to allow me in, possibly some thing going on.It’s more $ then the other stores!My most recent visit they asked if we wanted help out with the groceries I said yes!Tonight, it was all cashiers chitchatting. And talking.Expensive.They didn’t offer to help me with my groceries.If I’m gonna pay this price it’s YES!They also didn’t have everything I needed so I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

A very easy in and out gas station for large rv even if you are towing. Several lanes to use. It is in town and the roads in town are narrow. It was the cheapest fuel we could find in town that will accommodate rv's. Some of the peripheral stations were cheaper but too small to get in and out with an rv

I stop in because sometimes my choices are limited for the day.The people are rude. I have been ignored multiple times when wanting to ask a question. The customers are extremely rude! I'd honestly rather deal with Walmart people than the customer base at Paris, TX Brookshire store #14. And that's saying a lot.The self check is crowded and uncomfortable. The check out lines are long. The prices are too expensive. And the way they treat the employees they don't favor is horrible. It gets 2 stars today because an employee did stop and point the way to something I was inquiring about.

It is always better stocked than other stores. Friendly and helpful staff and such sweet bag assistants for everyone. The deli is the best in town! We go there instead of fast food chicken too.

My first visit to the deli was great. Very courteous and helpful. Then I self check out and got screamed at because I made mistakes. LOL Hope she has a better day.

Much much higher prices than other Grocery Stores. Staff is very friendly - willing to help more so than others but especially in the time we're in can't afford a store like this. The weekly sales don't work when everyday items are overpriced.

Kelly in the pharmacy always helpful and so friendly. Got everything I needed and then some. Young man carrying out my groceries was a lifesaver, there was a little bullfrog in my Jeep and he got it out🤣I can't imagine what might have happened if it jumped on me while driving 😳Thank You! Sam Wicks has been there as long as I can remember, he takes great care of me as far as making sure my meds are compatible and that I'm getting a fair price on it. They're Awesome ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I were on a road trip thought we stop in and shop a little one of the manager waited on us and showed us where everything we needed great service from him should have gotten his name but fell to do so I mean he walk with us and showed us the products we were looking for now that what I call service and the store was very clean I will shop there again and the cashier were very nice checking us out thanks for your hospitality great job.

They have the best Deli in town. Very nice produce department. Good selection of products and a nice pharmacy. Best part is they do not have self checkout. They do not expect the paying customer to be a free employee. One thing I miss is the sugar free cakes and cookies in the bakery for diabetics.

Way to expensive and none of the prices are correct. You better watch everything when you are check out. I've caught several things that say a cheaper price in the add but when you check out the price is not what the add states. For example water price outside the store 3.99 inside the store 4.99 and I was charged 4.99 when I brought it to there attention the cashier wanted to argue so I told her to get a manager. The manager said "oh the tag hasn't been changed inside the store on the shelf nor in our computer system" so if I had not paid attention Brookshire would have gotten 2 extra dollars from me. That doesn't seem like much but in this day and time it is. So please watch when you are being checked out and also when you do self checkout. Also very lazy kids do not want to help take groceries out but I've noticed they really love standing around talking while you bag your own groceries then watch you as you take your own groceries out the door. This is the Mt. Vernon, TX store I haven't experienced this at other Brookshire grocery stores.

We enjoyed our trip here. Found a good bit of deals. The store was clean, employees were nice and there were some employees checking dates and to make sure the food on shelves was fresh. I appreciate that. I recently went to another store close by just to come home and find out a good bit of the fruit and veggies were rotten. My one complaint is I they really don't seem to have a lot of options for people with allergies and food restrictions. I did see some lactose free and gluten free items, but compared to other stores it was very minimal. I am limited to those due to health reasons (not fad) and I was really looking forward to finding options I can enjoy too. Was able to get plenty of regular food for my children tho. I love that they help you out, even tho I normally turn down that service. They explained it is part of their service and isn't for tips. They aren't allowed to accept tips anyway.

Much too expensive, they have not reduced prices after inflation has cooled a bit. They really do need to reduce prices. Not everyone in this community has a high income, just some that work at the two plants, a third one has closed, and moved on, leaving workers and their families without employment and income.
