Great people volunteering there - warm, welcoming and super helpful! Hard working as Silesians are ;) They got me in touch with other Texan Silesians who still know Texan Silesian. Almost 2 centuries apart and yet we spoke (almost) the same language, what a moving experience, incredible! There is also a nice museum around well worth visiting. All in all a must go for any Silesian who happens to be in Texas. If I had one wish then it would be to see a more inclusive, Silesian focused rather than the exclusive, Polish centered representation of the Silesian Texan historical and cultural heritage. Silesians, with all the differences between them can really cherish a common heritage no matter what proportion of Polish, German, Czech and whatever other blood runs in their veins. Sounds a bit like an American idea, doesn't it? ;) Texan Silesians would be a perfect example to show the way - far away from the old continent politically imposed skewed historical narratives. Thank you very much and keep up the great work! Trivia: I was laughing so badly when I saw "Haziel" instead of "Restroom" sign in the center, just great! 😄
