Yesterday, was not the first time I had an issue with the Palestine location. I stop taking my doodle to the a little over a year ago. They charge you for things and then they did not do them. My normal groomer is out on vacation. I decided to give Petsense another chance. All I wanted was my Naomi bathe and blow dried. They charged me $69 and she was still wet when I picked her up. If you do not blow dry those dog they mat and stink. I tried to show the guy at the register that my dog was wet still. I knew he could not do anything, I just wanted him to acknowledge so when I called the next day he could tell them yes she was wet. The guy kept saying call tomorrow. The guy at the register was rude. I will not go back there again. When I dropped off my dog the girl said I looked at your records. The person you had problems with us no longer here. I would love to get another chance. If this is her work ethics. I don't think so. She called me, I was two minutes away. She left my dog in the dark in the back. She must of knew I would be upset, because she was gone when I got there.

Don’t bother trying to get your pet groomed here. I made an appointment online and even called and spoke to an employee to confirm my booking (which they said was fine and the online schedule is accurate). Apparently the groomer gets to decide whether she wants to come in or not, and chose not to work today despite having an appointment booked.

The grooming salon is exceptional. Tawsha made my very nervous baby (Bargain) feel very relaxed. He has been 3 times now. An awesome and very knowledgeable professional groomer. Absolutely recommend this groomers. Great job Tawsha 👍🐶

Everyone is friendly and very helpful.Hannah and Tasha are great caring groomers. My 3 chihuahuas enjoy them. My dogs are clean, nails trimmed, ears, teeth clean and nails polished. Happy dogs.I appreciate them and they are very accommodating.

We would shop here more frequently if they were able to keep the items we buy on a regular basis in stock. That's not the fault of the employees. That's on corporate. They should do better for their customers. I don't like to have to shop elsewhere. I actually like the employees at this store. They are always friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

Their product selection is fine. However, their employees need serious training on proper protocols for handling the cats available for adoption. I witnessed an employee show customers young kittens from multiple kennels and not once did the employee clean/sanitize their hands between animals. That is infection prevention 101. I then witnessed the same employee place two kittens, from separate kennels, into an empty kennel “to see if they got along.” This is absolutely NOT how cats are to be introduced, especially young ones in a stressful environment, and is just asking for trouble. The employee should 100% know better. Petsense would do well to train their employees on appropriate animal handling.

We got a 5 week old puppy and one of the guy's there (young man),I didn't get his name, but he was very helpful with information on puppy food brands and even got to name our pup. Rexston (Rex)

They’ve cut my dog to where she came home and bled for three days. More recently, they called and cancelled our dog’s appointment. We rescheduled for the next week, showed up, and no one was there for to cut our dog’s hair at the scheduled time (11AM). Then they apologized and told us to come back at 3:00 and they would give us a big discount for the inconvenience. We said that was fine. Then they called us at 1:30 the same day and told us that they would not take the dogs again. Avoid this place, it’s a mess.

I prepared the associate by phone when I scheduled the grooming appointment that my son had not been professionally groomed as she is high energy and she a heeler aussie breed she told me appointment was at 930 ...I needed help with bathing her as I did not feel well and my work schedule is very stressful with long hours ...I bath her myself and her hair clogs my drain is another reason I need to stop bathing her at home.....so getting my dog to.pets plus I got there at 935 the groomer already seemed annoyed she tells me " we don't take 930 apointments." I'm the one at that point that apologizes and says I was told 930 the other associate speaks up quote " no I told you 9 mam." Back to the groomer Tasha just starts picking up my dog at this point and looking through her coat and became even more annoyed heavy breathing sighing kind of figiting her body language was far less than of wanting to be there and I even offered to help with my dog however I could and Tasha kept interrupting me when all I was trying to do was be kind and offer help well I had enough of the rude remarks and jabs and then handling my dog while she was in a bad mood I decided to say "look you'll either groom her or you won't ..." and once again Tasha interrupts and says, " oh you know what I'll do one better she allows cookie to jump from the table to the floor lays the lease on top of the counter before I could grab the leash it falls to the floor and cookie nearly gets out the door all while I'm trying to record Tasha behavior she knows I'm trying to record and the Tasha yells while walking out of the groomer " Call the cops now" its almost like the front counter associate and Tasha have done this before because the associate at the front said ok and just hands the phone to Tasha all because a customer was trying to capture their behavior ...this was BAD BAD BAD BAD my poor Cookie girl I will never spend another dime in this store to say the least ...I spoke to the manager Carol who said she would have her boss call me tomorrow once all sides of the story were expressed she was apologetic but still did not understand how humiliating this was and for my dog to have been treated this way is like WOW!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!

I just had to write about my experience at Pet sense. I had bought a product that I've used for years and for some reason it did not work this time. I called and talked to someone at Pet sense and she told me to bring it back in. She gave me a new product without any problem. She never once acted like I wasn't telling the truth or like I was a problem for her .She was so very nice and hhelpful. I wanted to say how pleased I was with my experience there.

The service was amazing! The sweet lady got bogged down with like 20 orders in about 20 minutes and never missed a beat. We came in 2 then 4 trucks full of workers 2 minutes later. Always smiling . Wish I could remember her name.

Shelby was a fantastic person whom cared and bathed my puppy and gave me great advice for my puppy and future traininginformation. Palestine texas location. She is amazing and caring and smart. Thank you so much.. I look forward to letting my baby get care from you and staff for training and more information. She was fantastic and kind and helpful. I usually take my pets elsewhere that are cheaper and great but she did way better than them and was helpful. Will visit soon. Worth it.

Above average prices. Unfortunately, their selection for dogs is greater than cats and all other pets. They sell some fish products, but yet they do not sell fish; and they are the only pet store in town. I have many types of pets and will be forced to shop online. Will try buying tropical fish online. 😢

It was our dog's birthday, and we were in a hunt for some dog cake mix to make at home. The store didn't have some, but the staff helped us a lot of gave us a substitute instead of the cake. He recommended us so many options. We got some very cute dog biscuits! She enjoyed all of them!

After going to this store to have every dog that I've ever had for the last 20 yrs. & whoever the groomer was on this one particular visit, stated that while grooming my pet, he tried to bite her & blah, blah, blah, which no one else had ever told me that, so upon getting my dog & going up front to pay my bill, we left after paying like $75.00 , which was totally ridiculous. So for this reason, I do not patronize, for any reason, Pet Sense any longer.This is just how I feel, although I do wish this organization nothing but success!💜🐶🌺

Took both of my dogs to be groomed today. Shampoo, dry, trim claws and file, brush teeth, clean ears, etc. Tabitha did a wonderful job!! It was very obvious that she loves animals. She went through everything twice when I dropped them off so we were both on the same page.One of my dogs decided to poop right in the middle of the aisle when we got there 😮 I apologized all over myself and the young lady straightening up the shelves laughed and said it was not a big deal and she'd take care of it. Super nice!!Would definitely recommend 😀

The store is awesime BUT The groomers are rude and do not have people skills. I have never had a groomer work so hard not to take my money to do a simple trim of nails on my small dog, nor have to go thru a background chk just for a bath for my dog. They were not helpful or willing to engage to assist us. Found everything excuse not to do the job. The area was unclean and my dog got very nervous. We went else where and he was just fine. DO NOT RECOMMEND THE GROOMERS AT PENT SENSE.

I got dogfood and the cashier was thorough and gave me the points towards my free bag. I am an older woman and although they usually offer to carry my large bag to the car this time they didn't. Also the price is higher everytime I buy dogfood. Every single time. I buy dogfood once a month so there's a price increase monthly.

I called to ask if they had a medium size dog kennel and the boy who answered the phone was rude. He didn't say, Im sorry ma'am our kennels go according to the weight of the dog not s, m or l .Instead he just kept asking , How much does your dog weigh? I can't think of any occasion where I would ever want to shop there .

Me and my roommates have been asking them to get small mice for 4 weeks now and they still dont have them. And they have had a shippment since i have needed the mice cuz they were also out of small heating pads and they got those but they don't have the mice. Looks to me like they need a new person to do the orders cuz obviously the person they have now can't do their job right.
