Palestine Texas Lowe's has got to be the worst in the state... I do construction work and I go there regularly. I can't speak for every department they have but the tile plumbing and check out area's need to get new help. Nothing is organized or readily available, the 4 guys always back in plumbing are always jerkin off back there while the entire place is a wreck and unorganized, I got there 4 times a week or more.. it's pitiful they have the woman doing the grunt heavy work and the men just being lazy which is sad. The check out being self checkout is ridiculous in a store that selling construction supplies. It's pointless and the cashier has to assist every time, the isles are all congested, I mean it's a hardware store get the display out the isle so people can walk and push the big carts to collect their materials you fools. They need to go visit the COLLEGE STATION LOWE'S and take notes. They have the best service and organized isles. Unfortunately I still have to use Lowe's in Palestine , but I go to other places when I can.

Pro customer. I was told that I don't get a discount unless I use a credit card. That's not true paid for my order. Call trying to get ahold of a manager set on the phone 45 minutes and never got anybody to pick up finally I called back. I got somebody and I just told him. Let their managers know what a horrible job they're doing. I will never go back there again.I will be a home depot customer from now on

I continually have terrible experiences at this local Palestine, Texas store! They confuse my orders and my purchases, charge me for things I didn’t order, and then promise delivery that never happens! I purchased a Zero turn lawn mower last Friday 04/05/2024, and was given a delivery date of 04/09/2024 (Tuesday). It is now Thursday and I have heard nothing from these people. I have tried contacting the store but am unable to get them to answer their phone. I have called customer service and was told that they don’t show any record of my purchase, I advised him that I was holding a cash receipt of purchase in my hand! “Hmm.. I’ll have to check into that!” He said that he was sending a message to my store and they should be contacting me within 24 hours. This morning 04/11/2024 at 8:12AM I received a text that said my order had been delivered. I went outside to check and there was no sign of any delivery! I then got dressed and drove the 16 miles round trip to the store to find out what is going on! Upon getting to the store “Jason” advised me that there must have been a computer error. I asked how can a computer input on itself without someone human giving it that information..(Blank Stare)! he told me that their truck was broken down and they hadn’t been able to make deliveries scheduled for this week. I asked, “So, when can I expect delivery of my mower”. To which he replied they should have it on the truck for delivery today. This being the same truck that is supposed to be down for repairs! GrrrrrrI have been trying to reach customer service since getting back home, as of yet they have not called me back after leaving my call back number in queue 3 times!!! I think that this is the last time I do business with these people!

I for life of me will never understand how such a large business for home improvement and building, doesn't keep things in stock and shows they got it but you have to order it, all the plumbing stuff in world even the pipe like galvanized in which we needed a galvanized pipe threader oh they carry it but it's special order, and forget getting help unless you look forever, we had an employee that I went to find myself for help whom couldn't help us but said he could get the plumbing guy who could, he left never came back waited 35 minutes before I went to find plumber guy myself. Really frustrating took us over an hour due to having to wait to get help could have been in and out.

Frustrating Return ExperienceMy husband and I have been loyal customers of Lowe's for years. More so now these last six years, investing both time and money in renovating our second home a fixer-upper near Palestine, TX. Throughout this journey, we have appreciated the convenience of having a Lowe's nearby and have been satisfied customers—until recently.I want to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had with a return, which fell short of the service standards I have come to associate with Lowe's. Despite my loyalty, I encountered unexpected challenges during the return process, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction.As someone who values the quality service Lowe's is known for, I believe it's important to share this feedback in the hope that it prompts a review of your return processes. The inconvenience I faced and the lack of resolution were disappointing.One specific point of concern is the 90-day return policy, which is not prominently mentioned on the receipt. Discovering this information later, I realized it could be improved for customer awareness. Perhaps including the return timeframe more visibly on receipts would prevent similar surprises for customers.I have always considered Lowe's as a go-to for home improvement needs, but this recent experience has compelled me to reconsider. I believe Lowe's can do better in ensuring a smoother return process for loyal customers like myself.I hope that this contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.

I just got rescheduled for the 4th time. I'm a roofer. I have customers that have expectations. I have a crew that has now missed 3 days of work due to Lowes not showing up and I can't even get a guarantee for tomorrow so now materials if they even show will be sitting outside all weekend. Management act as if they have no control over it. I've spent literally millions at Lowes. If their service was like this in DFW, they would never see another dime.

In rebuttal to Steven Collins, there are never 4 guys working in plumbing at one time. There is never more than one, and quite often none, or one guy covering electrical and plumbing, and sometimes millwork, or flooring as well. I know this because I worked in plumbing until last week. There was a 2 1/2 week period where I got zero hours, because they were trying to boost managers bonuses.At Home Depot we always had 2 people in plumbing, and 2 people in electrical at all times. Palestine Lowes never has more than 1 or 2 people on to cover both departments.That's why the plumbing department is always a mess. One person cannot, restock, help customers, fill orders for the pro desk, down stock not just plumbing but sometimes lumber or inside garden, put up freight, round up carts, load out for customer service, thread pipe, and be pulled out of plumbing at a moments notice to work elsewhere in the store.

How yall remain in business is a mystery to me. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Improve your systems and streamline the project order process. Your own system can even pull up the people assigned to your projects. This is an issue company wide as the same thing happens in Houston Lowe’s. Home Depot here I come! You dropped off materials at my house with no heads up and no project even scheduled. Wake up!!!!

They are super helpful when you are ordering, but once they have your money…They are helpless once they have your money. They say to call with any questions or concerns you have, but when we call to talk to the sales person they respond to our message with a text that has an 800 number. They 800 number is just a call center that reads off of a computer and can’t answer any questions other than what the invoice shows. They refuse to install one of our doors that has been in for weeks because the other door has been back ordered and has no delivery date. They have our money and one of the doors, but continue to make us wait even when we explained the doors in the house no longer seal or function well. At least install the one that is in- especially because the second door is beyond the quoted time. We went elsewhere to order our windows and do our full kitchen remodel.

I needed an electric staple gun. I checked online what Lowe's had, the site indicated they had one I wanted in stock. I jam up to the store, 18 mile drive. Looked in tool section briefly, then pulled up the pic on phone and asked a couple of employees if I was in right section. They both answered aisle 4 left side. Yup, got the stapler and I was back on road heading to the job in less than 10 minutes. Good price too. On my way out door another employee wished me a great day. Made for a good rest of day.

Had my "afternoon libation" going and the wife and I decided to build a patio with a fireplace on the front of the house. Called Lowes ("Need 150 of them 12x12 patio blocks..." Showed up early next AM, and the forklift crew was amazing. At first, rear suspension on my truck was bottoming out (old Dodge 1/2 ton with 1.3 tons of block on it, lol). They jimmyed and jostled - got it all the way up to the cab. Drove home like an old man (which I am, lol_) and got it unloaded. The project was a success and our patio is a lot of fun for the 10-decent days between hot and hell and frozen solid in East Texas outback. Worked great. Amazon doesn't ship concrete blocks. Hmmm... 'magine that?

If you have self out stands instruct you employees to stand back and not hover over your customers and tell them what to do or not to do opens some lanes if they want to do it.. some just wanta get in and get out and not deal with people that sould be pushing buggies instead of dealing with customer service that have no intelligence to even work a register..

Went in for a few plumbing supplies to inevitably spend almost an hour just trying to speak to someone to leave empty handed. I walked around for over fifteen minutes before finally approaching a gentleman for assistance. I was relieved to see the assistant store manager and thought finally someone who can help. He was unable to assist me so he paged "someone" to plumbing. We stood and waited another fifteen minutes before I finally took a picture of the item, went to customer service, waited in line to finally be told their system says they have it but it's probably been stolen... We're pretty sure we saw the box attached to that item on a higher shelf just needing to be placed lower for stock but despite having multiple employees all over the store (on their phones) and a manager in store ignoring customers we couldn't get anyone to go to plumbing and help us. Ended up going across town to ace hardware and will go there from now on.

Well long story short I wound up getting everything at w**-***t instead due to the cost, every item was nearly 50 % less.Years later Lowe's finally found a great employee that knows what he is doing in plumbing and so helpful and very kind, store manager . . . not so much ! I bought the Craftsman battery powered mower with blower and have been surprised at how well it worked for the money. So much quieter and light enough to move it easier than a gas powered. The blower weighs less and is just good enough. Thank you Lowe's

This was my 2nd time shopping here, and first time doing it properly. The flow of this store keeps you fully engaged and the staff are amazingly helpful and professional. I can't wait to go back. My favorite was the gardening section, which made me want to buy all the beautiful plants and flower pots.

Went there to return an item within the warranted window of time and I even have an account with them stating that very and they still refused to return the faulty item due to me not having the company credit card on me and the woman behind the customer service department was very rude I recommend going to McCoy's unless you absolutely have to go here.

Never done a review in my life and had to get my wife to get to this just to say how helpful this guy was. I don't know his name but a lot attendant I'm guessing. Not the one with the earrings but the other one. I have never in my 8 years of doing construction had someone so helpful. Doing the home Depot and Lowes and every other supply company day in and day out every week and never in this time has someone been anywhere near as helpful as he was. It was good enough to get me here to write this and I have never even fathomed writing a review. I hope he gets a raise or something because the smaller things like what he did today count in life. Lowes in Palestine. Helped me and the guy in the wheelchair. Hopefully he sees this or someone above him and let him know how much we appreciate the selflessness of how much he cared.There's still good in the world and I just saw a huge chunk of it today.

Have been extremely disappointed in this store!!! DO NOT order from the internet to pick up here!!! We ordered last week, got the email it was ready for pick up Monday. When we arrived we were informed the truck was there but wouldn’t be unloaded for 2-3 days. When we came back yesterday after receiving two more emails that our order was ready, they were lost. No idea where our order was, after an hour in the store the manager Angel was flippant and rude. His first response was “I don’t know what to tell you”…. It went downhill from there. We have remodeled 3 houses in 2 cities and always used Lowes. We’ve bought appliances for all of our homes as well.. we will not walk back into this store again. Corporate needs to do some online orders and experience the horrible service from this store

Have done multiple big orders this year, all of them had some kind of issue. Most had to wait over an hour to be loaded, managers put you on hold till line goes dead, service desk answers phone and hangs up without saying anything, and my order kept getting rescheduled for delivery for over a month not once did they call to say why or when it would come in till I called and cancelled the order.
