One of my favorite places to browse...the ladies there are so friendly always helping and trying to sale product. The gentleman there are always very eager to help me load the bulky items in my car. Yes they are over priced on a lot of stuff you just have to dig an look hard you still able to find bargain now an then . However I don't donate here I donate to the churches because I know people who need items will actually receive them for free

We found this store to be clean,well organize. All the items that we looked at was in good to great condition. The pricing was really good. The staff makes you feel welcome.

An absolute joke now. Took donations and they picked through and only took unopened brand new items we had and then went in and shopped and the prices for stuff they get donated is insane. Especially if it has any kind of name brand on it they automatically price it way over what it's worth considering these items are used and not always in great shape. We will be taking our donations elsewhere from now on and will no longer be shopping at this location.

I think it's ridiculous that when things don't have a tag on them that they don't put a tag on them and put them right back out. Because both things that I was interested in neither one had tags. so I was nice enough to give it to them and say I know you're not gonna sell it but here for the next person so that they don't have to be disappointed because they can't buy what they like.

I am so disappointed in my most recent shopping experience here. The entire atmosphere of the store has changed immensely and not for the better. It feels tense. I feel sorry for anybody working in this particular store. Prices went up exponentially on some things. People are coming and then leaving shortly thereafter empty handed. This is far from an affluent community with couture boutique clothing brands and the like. I don’t know if there’s an anger issue or something going on or a self entitlement one but something has got to give or we and the rest of the community are just gonna hit up other stores.

So I Guess know when you shop at the Palestine tx Goodwill your not allowed to have your the stuff you bought put into bag..The manager there threw a fit bc i wanted to put my stuff i just bought into a plastic goodwill bag!Very Rude and not busines like.Do Better Goodwill..Its bc of the ppls Donations money your doors are even open.

The Goodwill has really went up on there pricing, I try to help families in need and this was my go to but not anymore. And I'd you find something without a tag you might as well give it to a store associate because you can't buy that item, then they look at you like u took the tag off , God forbid they get a name brand item in because they Google the item and put a high price on it ... Goodwill helped people in need at one point but nobody can go in and get a outfit anymore 😕 It's sad IF YOU’RE GOING TO DONATE PLEASE TAKE YOU’RE ITEMS SOMEWHERE THAT ACTUALLY HELPS THOSE IN NEED

This "non-profit organization" fires employees for making purchases. What sense does that make? Does that money not go to a good cause? I learned that they prohibit their employees from buying goods. They don't even offer a decent living wage. Prices here are outrageous since the staff/management has changed. Inspect items carefully because I've found them broken/repaired with glue. They put stickers on the books, which can damage them if improperly placed and you want to remove them from the book. They also place stickers/price tags over the makers' marks of items, so you don't know what you're buying. They fill the shelves with broken or chipped items that can cut you if you're not careful. I also found liquor inside a flask they were selling. That all being said, the employees are nice unless you don't follow policy.

My shopping expierience was wonderful today! All the staff was extremely nice, and very helpful. I purchased a baby bassinet for a diy project. Unfortunately it did not fit in my car. Shoutouts to Fred and David! These gentleman helped take it apart for me, and got it loaded. Enjoyed our little storytime while chatting. Thank y'all so much! I'll be looking forward to coming back :)

The prices now compared to 6 months ago are outrageous and sometimes laughable. The very reason people shop at goodwill is for the lower prices, now it seems you'd be better off buying new! The staff is awesome but something needs done about the outrageous prices!

My 88-year-old mother loves shopping here. She receives warm greetings when she walks through the door. Clean, well organized, good merchandise, large kitchen and glassware section and fair prices. Staff are courteous and helpful (Edward in particular). This Goodwill is a very nice place to shop.

This store is awful! Don't waste your time or money keeping them in business. Merchandise seems organized but the employees are VERY rude. We had TWO rude encounters (with different employees) during our 10 MINUTE visit. We will never go back. We stopped in for simple costume pieces for Halloween. Next time we will make the hour drive to Canton or Tyler. Shopping local is great, but this place needs to close. I now wish I would have read reviews prior to going, as their rudeness is a clear pattern of behavior.

The manager didn't give me a receipt so when I went back hoping to exchange the 2 pairs of pants 3 hr later he said I needed a receipt but he had a signed receipt in his drawer because I paid with a card he started yelling at me and talking ugly to me when I told him that I didn't talk ugly to him he didn't have to be ugly to me he threatened to call the police and told me to get the hell out of his store. I WILL not donate or buy anthing from there again.Very Bad Customer Service!!

I generally dislike leaving negative reviews, but I also don't appreciate staff who dishonestly take my money. The cashier me if I'd like to donate $.85, I politely declined, and she still charged me. When I mentioned this to her, she groaned out load and started mumbling. She also didn't ask for my signature- I would not have signed it anyways. I left because I didn't want to deal with her. It's not the amount of money, it's the principal and her rudeness that didn't sit well.

I have been to this location many many times and every time was good. I go today to look for a little girls costume so she can go to a event this afternoon and found one and the lady and the manager at the check out counter said nothing they can do because it didn’t have a tag so they said look for something else and I did and it didn’t have a tag either I went threw all the stuff and nothing had tags on it. Why in the world would you take stuff out to the floor knowing it wasn’t tagged. I even offered to pay for extra and they said NO it has to have a tag. I explained the situation and they said no tag no sale. Yet they the ones that brought out the clothing to be sold. Even offered to pay extra and they said NO just wow could have made more on the item. Screw them we will never go there again

No greeting. Their attitude sucks. They require face masks even though the state is open. And they slammed me, an unknowing customer who made a simple mistake, for entering without one. They didn't even offer one. Screw this place. I'm never going back.

Today we donated lots of clothes, books, electronics, and miscellaneous decor that belonged to my father in law. Everything was boxed and bagged neatly. The lady at the unloading area was so RUDE to my husband. He even went out of his way to unload all of the boxes for her, but because two of the boxes were damp on top she refused them. She then said that she should just refuse all of our donation because my husband was the one being rude because he asked why a damp box had anything to do with donating our items. We have been donating to Goodwill for years and have never once asked for tax receipts or anything. This is the last time we will ever donate to Goodwill. We will take our items to more deserving and appreciative organizations from now on.

Staff here is disrepectful. Cashier was very rude to me. So I left my stuff at the counter, and walked out. Called the manager, and he was rude too. Do not shop here. The whole experience will just ruin your day.

As a former employee my belief is goodwill has gotten away from helping people with disabilities and employment opportunities to "How much money can we make for our ceo today?" They are now running their stores as retail stores and are overpriced. I have spoken to many customers that no longer shop there and donors who would now rather throw their items in the trash than donate them to goodwill. Very disappointed in what Goodwill has become.

They take your donations, write a receipt up to FMV for a deduction and it is for a good cause. My only concern is that I do not buy more to donate :(.

It is the first time I go and the cashier ran me out of the store, there were 10 minutes to close and she did not let me in, I told her that 5 minutes was enough for me and she mistreated me with her rude and unpleasant expressions I am very disappointed in this place..
