Nice folks! They're coastal hay is cheaper than Tractor Supply, and you actually get more. Love to be able to shop local!Update:After several months of getting perfectly fine hay, all of a sudden the hay quality was questionable. It started with a bale full of sticks ...I don't mean a few, I mean Full of them! I called and asked about it. I was told they grow and bale their own hay and there's a tree in the middle of the field. That would explain where the sticks came from. I thought it was a one time fluke, but the next 3 bales got worse and worse. Not only were there sticks in every bale, but the last 2 had a ton of crab apples too! Again, I called. It was confirmed that, indeed, the tree in the field was a crab apple tree. I was then told it couldn't have been that bad since it was just one tree. That actually made me angry. I don't think it's too much to ask to get what I paid for. The attitude that I was given, that it wasn't a big deal and that I should just get over it was definitely not appreciated. I really wanted to buy local, but I can't afford to throw my money away on a bad product.

Morris Engledow has got to be the nicest guy and a pleasure to be around! He has everything you could imagine around the place (been there since 1969). I would highly recommend his supply store,even has mower parts!

Bought some sunflower seeds to be planted, and the bag was from a 2019 seed lot. I called BWI (where they buy the seeds from), and they confirmed they only guarantee 1 year. And yes, these bags were from 2019. These were 2 year old seed with weevils - so not a good start.They agreed to split the cost on a second set of seeds. Which is a great gesture, but when I called today to check if they were ordered, the owner stated BWI didn't have them available.So I called BWI... sure enough they have them in stock. So either the owner is lying, or the sales guy with BWI is lying to the owner. Either way, The people are nice as can be, but I'll be getting these seeds from another source and skipping the feed store from now on.

Great place, i worked there during summer last year and its the best place to go for feed, salt blocks, fly control, wormer, ropes, saddles, fencing material, just about anything. Nice folks they really try to help people to find what they need to buy.
