Worst Dollar General I've ever been in! The floors are disgusting they need to be steamed! Half the aisles you can not even access because of so much backed up fright! It needs a remodel, and new management because whatever they are doing hasn't been working and it has only been getting worst these last couple years!

Wow! Daniel is soooo AWESOME!!! He has the BEST customer service I've seen in a long time!! I will start coming here if i will see him! Just brightened my whole evening! His management should definitely treat him good and give him spot awards because he is the BEST!! 😊❤💯

Nice people just a nasty junky store. Almost every isle is full of merchandise to put on the shelves but no shelves to put it on, because all shelves are full.

The store is small for a Dollar General and, because of that, it's usually pretty cluttered in the aisles. The staff, however, MORE than makes up for what the building itself is lacking. They are willing to help you with anything you might need and they do it in a friendly way with a smile on their face.

I would describe the place as out-of-shape. The place is very well-stocked maybe even overstocked for it's size, because it is incredibly crowded with shelves being close together or objects clutter the walkway, this is more apparent in the grocer area where using a cart is ill-advised as a refrigerator door will block the side path, it's difficult to turn corners and stock carts can block off access.The staff are very friendly, helpful and often apologetic, but the cash register is an awful system where register prices rarely match the sticker price even when that item is being promoted on sale or the receipt discounts are incoherent not telling what items received the discount(now they simply aren't being displayed).

Every time I shop here, there is some kind of problem with the cash register, and scanner. There is very limited room to move around in the store due to stacks up goods. This is also a normal thing. Not just once in awhile.

This store is unorganized under staffed it's the worst store i have ever been to they just don't appreciate the customers if i have to wait 20 minutes in a line with one cashier I'll just go to the dollar tree they are very organized.

They always have stuff you need, or can substitute for what you originally walked in for. Only bad thing is, they are always jammed packed with there supplies and products that everything is hard to find. Or having to crawl over stuff knock stuff over just to get to what you need.

This Dollar General is located in Palacios TX. With the closest Walmart 30 minutes away and a lack of other competition this store could be much bigger. Possibly add a larger food section. There is normally a long line at the checkout so make sure your not in a hurry. Good prices, well stocked store and helpful people.

Great atmosphere that has a lot to offer, cheap prices lovely employee bases, would recommend to anyone looking for a good deal on great products, sometimes they have clearance sales on items and you can walk out saving money

Dollar General stores are good for buying small items such as paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, etc. Most of the items are inexpensive & most of the time the Dollar General stores are built close to the Hudson housing & the low income apartments. I went to the Dollar General store in Palaicos, TX this morning because I wasn't able to buy a small trash can in the local grocery store or the Ace Hardware. There wasn't a Walmart or a Target store in Palaicos, TX. I bought some paper towels & some toilet paper while I was in the Dollar General store. We live about halfway between Port Lavaca & Palaicos (in the middle of nowhere).

Needs a bigger space. Stuffed with stock and stuffed with customers. Tiny Walmart for this rural coastal fishing village. Pleasant hard working staff.

It is okay. Of course have to go back get a refund for something scanned twice. They are pleasant and well stocked.

Horrible Dollar Store! Carts full of stuff blocking alot of the isles. Everytime i go in here i cant get what i need because of the carts!

It's a Dollar Generally speaking.Only one like it in Palacios TXUsually has what you need and great prices if you sign up for their coupons.
