My Dad and I had business in town and we'd stop by for some lunch. What we didn't expect to find was really good tasting burgers with big portions and being served by awesome people like Juan who worked with diligence and speed. The rest of crew worked like clockwork. That and the overall appearance of the location was simply splendid. We're definitely coming back here on our next trip.

Had the same experience as another reviewer, pulled into the drive thru to order some ice cream about 22 minutes before close and got told they couldn’t do ice cream. Like it’s dairy queen, the place for a great dessert. I get it I want to go home when I’m at work but to just turn people away from business is just dumb. Would love for them to finally do something about this but since the other customers complaint was 8 months ago I’m sure nothing will change.

Pulled in at 9:35 to place an order in the drive thru, when they lady over the speaker proceeded to tell me they were closed when they don’t close till 10 O’Clock. Is it just me or do people just not care about work ethic anymore or being one of their word. If the business hours are 10-10 how come they are closing at 9:35? Can someone please explain this to me, poor management if you were to ask me. You knew when taking the position what time closing was and what all it takes to clean up after that, if you don’t wanna work then don’t work!

Came here on a Sunday, service was incredibly slow and there was no Manger or anyone who knew how to work the register which is a have to in the hospitality industry. We order some ice cream and fries and they overcharged us and they couldn’t refund us at all. Someone needed a non-dairy dilly bars and onion rings but they ended up getting the dairy. Some people in front us of were here for over 30 minutes but their order was still wrong. We have less then ten people here but the wait was over 40 minutes.

Best Dairy Queen in our area with the best prices. Once in a while, they have employees with bad customer service, but it's a small town with limited options, so you have to give them a bit of credit. As long as you let the lead manager know your concerns, they're quick to fix any issues. For the most part, the overall customer service is really great! And the food, like I said, is the best in our area!

We went to Dairy Queen here in palacios, tx I like the new look and the service was fine for as busy as they were but I have always gotten a hot meal before. I order a number one with onion rings, my wife ordered a six piece steak finger basket and my my grandson order a nacho deluxe. To start off my burger was cold, my onion rings were barely warm no ketchup. My grandson sons order on the nacho deluxe was screwed up asked for no tamarins, no sour cream and no shredded cheese. He got shredded cheese and the nachos tasted stale. I will not be going back.

DON'T KNOW WHY I WENT BACK!I'll get into previous visits in a minute. But today, after ordering and sitting in the drive-through lane that you cannot escape (and I would have) for 15 minutes, as usual (on a Tuesday @ 12:45). I was given the price for the tacos I had ordered, which was full price. I inquired about "Taco Tuesday" pricing and was told by the gal that "you have to ask for it" To get the deal but she would make the adjustment. Then after fiddling with the register she said that the taco special day was on Mondays, she then immediately said she could not "over ride" the register. (Hmm, seems to be a common problem here according to previous reviews.)I did not get my food nor pay and immediately drove off the premises FOR THE LAST TIME!The service at this establishment has been horrible for years. It ALWAYS takes way,way too long to get your order and there is usually an issue (incorrect, cold, etc.) I can go to just about any full service, sit down restaurant in town and get better, faster service and food than here. The problem existed before and after the remodel as well as before and after COVID. This establishment must have serious leadership issues that cause a workplace culture that is indicative to poor service and failure. It appears as if the ownership does not trust their managers or employees and is not interested in making change.DQ Corperate needs to take control of this location and iron it out. Again, I will not be back or recommend this DQ to ANYONE!

The assistant manager Naomi B was very rude. I ordered a med Oreo blizzard and small fries and received a small strawberry cheesecake blizzard and soggy fries. I did not complain about the blizzard but when I asked to exchange my soggy fries for fresh fries her response was “OH SHE WANTS FRESH FRIES” so she then went to the back and as I’m watching her I see her give me the same fries that I had just told her I did not want. Yeah i know. Worst customer service ever. The rest of the Dq team is very nice but I will definitely not be eating here anymore. I do not recommend. Something needs to be done.

The assistant manger Naomi B was super disrespectful. I asked her to make me two banana split blizzards. Although she did turn them over before giving them to me (super quick) they were watery and no where near how the other employees make them. When I called to ask about the blizzards she says they are like that bc of how they’re made. She doesn’t like taking responsibility. When I went and took her the blizzards and showed her just how bad they were she said “call tomorrow and talk to the manager”. Being that she was the assistant manager did she not know how to go about the situation? What’s the point of having an assistant manager. Every time I go she’s always answering with an attitude. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen at this place. Everyone one else has been good to me but she truly ruins the whole business in my opinion. Seems nothing is being done.

This is the third time that this location has messed up on our order. They told us to pull around and they would bring out our order we waited 15 mins so my husband went in to check on the order and it was just sitting on the counter and went we check it in the car the order was not only wrong but the food was cold!

I ordered the same blizzard I have gotten many times and at this location it was mixed with far too much candy and was far too sweet. I politely asked the manager, Naomi Berrios, for a replacement or substitute but was denied either two times. I cannot believe I was treated this way. Very poor customer service.

Went to just get ice-cream with my family but the Manger and two employees walked out. They didn't give an elder women her fork for the taco salad, messed up multiple people's orders, charged people and then said 'oh sorry I can't give it to you and I can't refund you', my mother had to go behind the counter and show them how to do their job and how to make the peanut parafit.

Extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. The middle of my ordering, they said I took too long while I was trying to translate for my mother and they yelled at my family. Not only that but I see the same reaction from all over town about the manager that works here and the employees. I honestly don't know how any of the workers decide to work here when they obviously don't want anything to do with assisting people.

I have never in my life seen so much incompetency from a restaurant crew in my life. We pulled into a parking space at the Dairy Queen in Palaicos, TX on the evening of Wednesday, March 17, 2021. We were a group of 6 people. We had our order written down so that the 2 individuals that walked into this Dairy Queen could tell the order taker exactly what we wanted without any problems. About a half an hour later I walked into the Dairy Queen to find out why we hadn't received our food yet. I was advised by my niece that she had everything under control. I my niece told the young boy that brought the food out that she was going to check the food. I had made the statement that these aren't doctors & lawyers that we are dealing with. I had ordered a fried chicken sandwich. Wouldn't you know it. Instead I got a hamburger instead. So about 20 minutes later after everyone else's food was cold a different boy brought out my fried chicken sandwich. I wanted to know how we spent over $70.00 for cold food & bad service. I walked inside to ask this same question to the young female Hispanic manager on Duty. The mod was hiding in the drive thru. She wouldn't even come talk to me . Any sensible restaurant management staff would try to resolve this kind of situation before I it was raised to a whole new level & tempers started rising. There was another lady in this Dairy Queen at the same time that had waited over 20 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers. The lady had been driving for 10 hours. She was tired & hungry. This lady had had to wait for over 20 minutes for 2 simple hamburgers. I am amazed this manager& crew still have a job after last night. Someone at some point should have stepped in and precooked every single one of our burgers & fries & chicken dumplings, etc. We were at this Dairy Queen for 50 minutes waiting on our order for only 6 individuals. What would this Manager & crew do if a bus full of highscool athletes pulled in or a bus full of senior citizens on a tour bus? I would score the Dairy Queen in Palaicos, TX a big zero if I could.2). Two days ago my wife went through the drive thru & picked up a couple ice cream blizzards, one of these blizzards was for me. She ordered a mint chocolate chip blizzard. What she came home with was a mint Oreo blizzard. Does anyone that works at the Palaicos, TX Dairy Queen understand simple English & have a clue that if they cannot satisfy their customers their doors will close/out of business.

I love Dairy Queen, cheap cheap cheap! But the food just isn't the same since new owners took over. It always takes sooooooooooo long to get your order which is great I guess cause that means it's fresh, but i can get just as fresh down the street a lot quicker.

The assistant manager Namoi was rude. I Know i was upset but she doesn't understand that people who live 20 min away cant just come back for a taco salad made without lettuce. Who orders taco salad with no lettuce , your crew are, Naomi are deaf!! Never given a recept either.. So really my fault for trusting kids behind a register. Wont be going back after 4 thats for sur lunch only order at dinner time check your order for sure.

Everytime I've gone the cheeseburgers are always cold, can never even finish it. Meat taste like it's pulled out of refrigerator and put on the bun.

The evening manager Naomi Barrios was very rudeI called an order in and specifically ordered three burgers and she even repeated the order to me.When I got home after picking up the order there were only two burgers.So I called back asking for my other burgerShe insisted that I was incorrect and she made no mistake and refused to give me my burger.Never in my life was I treated so rudely by a managerI would not recommend going while she is working
