So, I've been frequenting the Whoop Stop since it was built on my trips between College Station and the hill country. I realized recently that I have assumed it is a good place because I love being an Aggie.I had another interaction with an employee that was negative. It was around noon on Nov. 13. It dawned on me that I've never had a pleasant interaction with anyone who works here. After realizing the only reason I thought it was good was b/c of the affiliation with A&M, I changed my star rating and based it on merit. (It was originally 4 stars.)You can see my original review below:The place is overpriced, but it is in the middle of nowhere so I guess that is to be expected. The owner wasn't very nice to me when I met him, but you seem really busy at the time. Also, I said " this is a great gas station". He was quick to point out it was so much more then just a gas station. I apologized and moved on.

The staff here is beyond superlative. They truly define good costumer service. The day time staff is fantastic, but the evening staff make this store the finest I’ve ever been to. The Bar-B-Q is delicious. The prices are more than fair. But the staff make this place worth driving out of the way for.

The employee was rude to my family. We zoomed up to the front of the store and ran inside w/ my 3 yo (who was having a bathroom emergency), on our way out the employee asked if we could move our car b/c we were blocking spaces. I have no issue with this (even though the parking lot was completely empty), but after I had put my 3 yo back in her seat and walked around to the front of the car the employee came out and said, "White privilege much?"I'm assuming he was having a bad day or maybe thought I was ignoring his request because it was taking me awhile to buckle in my 3 yo, but I was disappointed in that level of customer service. We have liked stopping here on our many trips to College Station because the bathrooms are clean and we're Aggies, but this was really inappropriate.

Stopped here & mind you it is pouring down rain, went in to use the restroom at 5 minutes to 10 & the "gentleman" behind the counter in the Texas Longhorn hat says they close in 5 minutes & the restrooms have been cleaned & bleached & the restrooms are locked up. But yet here the hours clearly state they close at 11 p.m. very disappointed being a Longhorn fan & passing though on the way to Austin. Well obviously will not stop here for any reason next trip. If I could I wouldn't give it even one star. Would hope there would be more compassionate customer service considering the horrible weather that you can not see to drive in & also the fact it is the only stop in miles & got treated horribly. I would have willingly cleaned up after myself in the restroom considering my bladder was & still is about to burst seeing that I couldn't use the facilities there. We were planning on making purchases there as well but nixed that idea after being told we could not use the restrooms.

Small and quaint. The selection is small compared to other gas stations, but the beer is always cold. The homemade chili is awesome. And they had supplies that major retailers ran out of.

Everyone loves the whoop stop! Average convenience store, average gas station bathrooms.This place shines for their food. It's literally the best place within 20 miles.

This used to be such a cute place to stop on our way to different adventures. Now, it is run down and disgusting. Bathroom was filthy and gross. One commode stopped up. Just disgusting🤮

Price charged to my card did not accurately reflect the amount of diesel that I used. In addition to that none of the items in the store have any pricing on them, so what am I supposed to do ask the cashier about every single item?

Clean bathroom. Average selection. Has a diesel aisle but only room to park one or two trucks, max. No showers.

I was filling up with diesel and it don't have automatic shut off diesel pump handle when near to full....waste about half of gallon on the pavement! Need to replacement with auto shut off handle?

About to run out of gas and there is the Whoop Stop love coming here just for the name and I get to say "whoop stop" a lot. Country kind of place with Whoop Stop sign on roof.
