Just WOW! Starting off with the drive to this location.. absolutely beautiful and serene. Very few places make me happy dance while eating and this place is one of them!! I had the Homemade Banana Bread French Toast. One word - heavenly. The breakfast taco is one of the best I’ve ever had. My Husband had the Big Farmer and raved about the fluffiness of the pancakes, the crisp of the hash browns and the perfectly cooked bacon and sausage. Even our 2 year old son was so excited to eat his pancakes and bowl of fruit which was extremely juicy! Oh and they’re sweet tea - the BEST! The service was great and prices were extremely affordable. We’re looking forward to going back and trying their lunch and dinner menu with the rest of our family. We will be repeat customers for sure!

After seeing a lot of people mentioning this place on FB we decided it was finally time to go check them out. Glad we did!We went for brunch around noon on a Saturday and they were very busy! They recently moved to a new location from what I’ve read and the map took us to the wrong address. No big deal we found it on Old potato road off 290.The property is absolutely gorgeous and looks like a very nice wedding venue & church as well. Nice large pond, the owner mentioned I should have brought my fishing pole with me, I might take him up on that next time! The entrance gate is well marked with the Farmhouse restaurant sign. No sign on the building so look for the gate. Long gravel drive that’s well kept. Plenty of gravel parking that was fine even with the recent rain. Actual main building entrance is around front facing the pond. Many folks were entering the back handicap wheelchair entrance which is closer to the parking lot. There’s a few rustic wooden arrow signs posted pointing to use main entrance.Staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming even with them having a pretty full house. We were quickly seated as soon as a table opened up. There was minimal decor but it was clean Texas farmhouse themed as well as having a stage and the cross for church service on Sunday. Overall it had a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere even with how busy they were. The waitress was very quick to refill our drinks and take our order. They were incredibly busy and likely need just a few more tables there. We ordered fried pickles to start, they were fantastic and made perfectly. It took about 30 minutes to get the rest of our food but it was worth the wait, we got the Breakfast sandwich and The Farmer plate and they really hit the spot!Eggs were cooked to perfection! Everything appeared to be from scratch and made fresh from what I could tell. Be patient as these folks here were working hard bringing out fresh and hot plates! We got the bill and was shocked at how affordable it was, I even mentioned to the owner it’s 2023 and with inflation most restaurants as nice as this charge more than just $2 for a drink with refills. He was proud to admit they keep their prices as low as they can afford to. Very genuine guy from what I could tell. I made up for it by giving a generous tip to the waitress as she deserved every bit of it.We will absolutely be back and hope this restaurant has many years of continued success!Parking: Plenty of parking, well kept gravel lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Back door appeared to be wheelchair accessible.

I based off the reviews I saw thought this would be a good place to take a friend of our for a quiet dinner after a day at the fair. We did not even make it in the door when a girl came out, and in about the most rude way possible, told my wife " You can just stop right there you are not bringing that dog in. " we told her it was a service dog for PTSD. This is not one of those fake dogs people carry. This dog knows its job and does it quietly. She got got the owner who first told us that he had people who were afraid of dogs. I informed him the only way he could deny her was if the business was a church. He then proceeded to change his mind and say that it was a church and event center. So we left and went somewhere else. The guests we had was more upset than we were. For the fact that they tried using the church reason even though in just few mins found that the dinner was a seprate for- profit buesnnes entity. Should not lie to a corporate tax attorney who has access to state and federal tax database. If you are a vet with a PTSD dog, just know you are not welcome here.

My wife and I Wished we had discovered this hidden Gem much sooner. The location is truly unique with Beautiful Texas scenic country views throughout the Paige area. The Hospitality was truly amazing, We were greeted by every staff member, including the owners. Our waitress Misty was so welcoming and very attentive with our requests . The food was the cherry on top. The entire meal was smoking hot and delicious. We ordered both the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken, with fried okra, mashed potatoes and green beans. Great food, with an amazing atmosphere, can’t wait to try the Breakfast. Thanks Tim

Visiting from Washington and found this place from a google search for food near by. Could not be happier we got to try this while here. The drive there was very nice and a welcome change from the highways we were on all day. Service was great, Misty was so kind and helpful. Food was spectacular, the homemade banana bread French toast is a must try!

Great place to eat, and the service was amazing. We had the chicken fried steak for dinner and it was delicious. I would probably prefer to come back and eat breakfast next time. When I go out for dinner I really enjoy a nice beer, and the don't serve alcoholic beverages there. I totally understand why and that is the reason they still get 5 stars, but if I could get a cold beer it would be worth a 6th star for sure. The place is great food and a good value with very attentive staff. My family will be coming back. Have a good day and GOD Bless.

This is an amazing place. We found it online, coming back home from visiting Brenham's during the summer. Once we arrived we hesitated about going in because it seemed like someone's home and that is exactly how they treat you, like you are a Welcomed visit at their home. Food was great, the place is amazing and everyone we encounter was super friendly. Thank you all for creating a space and environment like that.

They won't be a hidden gem for long. We went on a weekday morning and had the best experience. The service was so warm and friendly. And the food was delicious! I got the Banana Bread French Toast –didn't even have to put syrup on it because it was that good. We will definitely be back with more of our family to impress them!

True country cooking. The food was so tasty we hung around until long after we should have. And yet no one even hinted we should go. We were treated like favored family from the minute we walked in. Despite us changing tables, ordering separate checks during rush hour and sitting there for close to 3 hours. It was my first time. It won't be my last. And the prices were unbelievable. In a good way. You HAVE to go there!Dietary restrictions: I bet they would cook anything you want, any way you want it.Parking: Huge parking areaKid-friendliness: Everyone is so very friendly to each and every person who walks, or is carried, through the door.Wheelchair accessibility: Concrete walk way. Level ground straight inside

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Such a beautiful setting for a diner. Staff is always friendly, attentive, and caring. Banana bread drench toast, to cheese curds, to a real New York Reuben, they know how to make any meal special. Desserts are definitely made with love, so be sure to save room, or grab it to go. Plenty of parking for large groups-just call ahead so they can arrange tables. Will contine to come here as often as am able.
