Home Depot is a go-to for all my home improvement needs. The selection is vast, and the staff are usually helpful. However, sometimes it can be challenging to find assistance, and prices can be a bit high. Overall, a great store, but room for improvement.

Honestly we loved this Home Depot all the way up until we ordered a Tuff Shed off the lot. Was supposed to get a 20% discount on the fact we ordered a display off the lot but after signing the paperwork we realized that the discount was never applied. Then the individual that was going to install the shed called and said he had made a mistake and didn’t notice windows were in it so he was going to use the 20% to cover the difference. This was of course after we emailed and text photos of the inside and out showing that it indeed had windows. Honestly it’s been the worst experience and we will most likely try to back out of this. It’s been two weeks and we haven’t heard anything even after contacting them.

This Home Depot was great for me last night, also I would like to recognize a gentleman named Ethan. (Hopefully I spelled his name right). Last night I was on my way home from Port Sulphur, LA. I was looking for generators on my way home. I was in Lafayette, LA when I made the phone call to this store. I forgot the gentleman's name who answered, but he did take the time to confirm the availability for the generator I was getting, then was transferred over to Ethan. (Garden department). Ethan did confirm one was left and may be sold. I let him know my arrival would be 10 minutes to closing. He informed me I can call when I was 10 minutes out to see if it was still available. I did call when I was close and it still was available.When I arrived he was just getting it ready to move to the front so I can purchase the champion brand generator. I am very grateful of him taking the time to let me know the availability and to help me out. I thanked him and told Mr Ethan I was very appreciative of his help and the gentleman who helped loaded the generator. I am very grateful and I believe Mr Ethan should be compensated. Thank you sir, and thank you Home Depot!

The Home Depot was great like always I can't remember the mans name that helped me to find the gas line and adapters to put our new stove in but they definitely need to keep him around we were completely lost as to what we needed and he took his time and made sure that we had everything we needed he went above and beyond what he needed or had to do in order to make sure we found all the right parts that we needed. As well as he was polite and had amazing customer service this is by far the best home Depot I have used or been to so I give five stars I definitely recommend this store to anyone thank you Home Depot and your employees y'all really have your stuff together will be back again.

My daughter and I and granddaughter went here from Woodville to pickup a double door for her [garage being converted into a living space]. They had the door at the front waiting on us and the experience was a whole lot better than any of these places I've shopped at. Go West Orange Home Depot. Employee's were very helpful and nice.

I usually shop at the Beaumont store, but on this occasion I found an item in stock in Oange that Beaumont was out of. A staff member actually approached me while I was shopping to ask if I needed assistance, which almost never happens at any large retail store these days, and he was able to assist me. The help desk associate was also friendly and helpful with picking up my online order.

I always love shopping here at my local Home Depot. These guys are so patriotic and as a military veteran I always get an additional 10% discount, which adds up when you are spending a lot. The store is always clean, fully staffed and courteous. As for price, the store is constantly running specials on tools and materials. What is really great is that they let me stack my military discount with other discounts to give me th best possible value. (update) I just made a $3000 purchase and forgot to enter my pro number. The cashier made a duplicate of the receipt and had the manager add it to my account. Thank you.

Frustrating Lack of Customer Assistance at Home Depot OrangeI recently visited the Home Depot in Orange and was highly disappointed with the level of customer assistance provided. Despite the store being fairly busy, it seemed nearly impossible to find an available associate to help with my inquiries. I wandered around for quite some time, searching for assistance with a specific project, but unfortunately, no staff member was available or seemed willing to offer help.This lack of customer service made my shopping experience frustrating and time-consuming. In a store of this size, I expected to find knowledgeable staff readily available to guide me through the products and help me make informed decisions. Instead, I felt like I was left to fend for myself, aimlessly searching for items and struggling to get the information I needed.As a loyal customer of Home Depot, this experience was disheartening. A store's success is greatly influenced by its customer service, and in this aspect, Home Depot Orange fell far short of expectations. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and implements measures to ensure that customers receive the assistance they need in the future. Until then, I will be hesitant to return to this particular location.

They have very beautiful and nice Christmas trees. The price are very reasonable and I was able to get it and come back to pick it up after I was done shopping in town. They've got all kinds of Christmas decorations also.

I called ahead of time to rent a tool and I told them I was coming to get it. They let me drive all the way. Then when I was in the place they made me feel like the tool wasn't going to work because of the rain. They could have told me that over the phone when I had called. I rented it anyways. Sad part is it wouldn't even start to find out if it would work so I had to take take it back. I waisted my time and gas money. I would have gave 1 star but the manager, after a long wait and being told it wasn't possible by the rental guy, was actually nice enough to let me take the tool to find out if it would do the job. After waiting for a while to speak to her she told me I could get a refund if it would not not cut. Like I said though, it would not start. The manager was nice enough to give me $20 off when I go back to rent it but I'm afraid to try to rent the tool from this store because it would not start. I had tried for over an hour to get it started.

First customer service at return/service desk was awesome. Couldn’t have been nicer & more helpful. The ladies were extremely friendly and helpful. But the purchase/delivery service is absolutely ridiculous. You have to wait for delivery & if you need to change dates it’s a total fiasco. Someone in obviously another space realm have to deliver/reschedule. We ended up just getting a refund for several appliances. It’s awesome staff if you don’t need delivery...which they demand cause you can’t pick it up yourself obviously. Took our business elsewhere. Also like the old folks we are we paid cash...well PERHAPS in 30+days we’ll get a refund check. We expected a check not the cash but not a month out!! All because we had to change delivery date due to an unexpected VA appointment!! At least the ladies are nice cause service is terrible!!

Can honestly say that I love this location. Can be hard sometimes to get someone to help or find someone down an isle, but when you do ask for help employees are usually knowledgeable and direct you to the correct isle.

Home Depot in Orange has been doing an exceptional job at customer service lately. Today, after leaving a bag of plumbing fittings at the self checkout, I returned several hours later and received outstanding service. On top of it all, the evening plumbing guy found my fittings from my receipt as quick as the morning plumbing guy found them the first time around. Thanks for the help!

A few weeks back, my husband had covid and our sod had just been installed in our new house and I needed to pick up a curbside order for water hoses to water the grass, it was quite an investment so I loaded up my 3 kids, one that’s only 1 month old and headed to pick up a curbside at Orange Home Depot. When I arrived they no longer were bringing orders to the car but you had to come in. So I called and spoke with the woman managing the department. She was amazing and brought out my items herself despite being short staffed because I explained our circumstances. I’m so grateful to her, it was amazing customer service and just good humanity. Thank you thank you! I’ll never forget you!

Recent trip to our orange tx home depot ended a very bad way. Product listed prices do not match with what in front of the product to whats in the system. Tried to buy a 20 inch clay pot for what was listed at 35.98 but when i got to the register it rang up at 109.00. After going to customer service and the assitant manager they would not honor the listed price unbelivable. And just to add to the trouble they would not honor my military discount. Cannot even support our vetrans

Went to Home Depot to get a tool I needed for work, I found it with no problem thanks to the great website. I was able to also pick up a Ryobi drill bit set for $9.99 what a deal(IMO). The store was clean and in order. The staff was very friendly and helpful

This happened a few months ago.The store manager I complained to about the rude heavyset caucasian lady who is in charge of receiving in the back of the store that also uses the forklift to load/unload trucks was very helpful. I don't have any complaint about the store except for her. Someone should tell her that truck drivers are partially responsible for why she's employed.

Customer service at the register was the worst. Tring to use the military discount and their app was not responding. And the attendant refused to call a manager to help the situation. Even with a valid and active ID. How can you be a company that prides them self as a supporter of the military active and veterans. When you refuse to help. Them. Would give 0 stars if I could.
