Walking into this place feels like I just stumbled into the 1920s. This has to be the oldest store in Southeast Texas that is still in business. They have cast iron pots and other items you cannot find anywhere else and that is built to last decades, plus plenty of feed as well too to accommodate thousands of farm animals. They have no air conditioning, but this is still the best and friendliest place to shop.

Could use a little clean up in there. Some unique gift ideas. Different kinds of odds and ends in there.

Super friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. Definitely a store you walk into and go back in time a bit which I absolutely adore. Be sure to ask about the old phone! That's a great story and it's still there and still working

You want to take a look back in time just walk on in. My dad always bought his seeds for our garden here in the early 70's and we used a mule back then to work our garden. One day I got the bright idea to hook my horse up to the plow to side dress the peas, potatoes, etc. Everything went smooth until our black mouth yellow cur dog spooked the horse and I tore about two rows of corn up. My dad was at work and I was very worried about getting in trouble for it but he just laughed it off and reminded to tie the dog up next time. Lesson learned.

Always like going here. Like stepping back in time. Spent many days in this area growing up. The people are nice, friendly, and helpful. Little on the expensive side though.

This place was part of a tour we took in Bridge City, Texas. It's a typical farm and rural area store from about 60 to 100 years ago. While still active as neighborhood feed, seed and hardware store, most of the items are old farming and rural home implements that are no longer in use. In that respect, it is interesting for some people.

I called this morning and asked if the plant truck had came in ans was told yes. i asked if a certain variety of tomatoes came in as i was going to have to drive 35 miles. i was told yes. i left and went straight there and they did not have what i asked for, i was told they had been selling a lot of plants. i told him i had just got off the phone a few min ago and came straight there. there was no apology from him. I am very disappointed

Great little hometown farm and garden supply. They don't have chicks, but they do have a good assortment of seed and plants, and feed for your beasts, and miscellaneous rope, chain, tackle, and old fashioned home goods.

It's the oldest commercial store in Orange, TX that still sells things you can't find anywhere else. (animal food: hay, chicken feed, etc) It also sells some of the eldest snacks you can't find elsewhere. Old cast iron pots, dishes...
