I love the fact that I have a DG in Deweyville because we have no other options. So with that being said, this store has only 2 or 3 friendly employee. The manager is rude and clearly unhappy always. She is disrespectful to the staff that works under her. I hear her always yelling and berating her employees behind the counter, in the isles of the stores. The bathrooms are NEVER available to the public. I have children so that is a huge problem.The site is always a mess. The shelves are always empty of at least 70% of the products offered. The rolling containers are just pushed into the isles and you have to find your items in your own. And when you do try get your stuff off of them, employees will yell at you. But they refuse to stock it also.It's messy, dirty and just over all a horrible place to shop under the new management. I used to shop here every single day. Now I will drive to the next town unless it's an absolute emergency.These pictures ate of every isle in the store. In SEVERAL different days! This is how it ALWAYS looks. My friend is in a wheelchair and can't shop here, because he cannot get his chair down one single isle. It's so junked up, that he cannot get around the junk tables and 'displays' at the entrance. This woman should be fired or moved to a different location with a smaller customer base.

As someone who works at the store I can say a lot more about it and confirm its one of the good dollar general we have our issues with the systems but that is ok for being as old as they are and as for our customer service I can say that for me I'd rather my customers leave feeling as though they found a new store they want to go to more even if they don't get any items we try out hardest to keep as much of our back stock off the floor and keep the shelves as full as they can be and make sure to not run out of our essentials and if anyone has issues finding a product we are more than happy to help you find the items you're looking for our managers are top notch and are very nice and are more than willing to help get things situated if a problem may arise (also regarding nearly all reviews that are negative they are from an age long past back when there was another manager and crew working now its a whole new manager and a whole new crew and we're ready to make our customers happy and have their selves a new store to go to)

Poor service due to the fact the isle are full of buggies full of stock that needs to be n the shelves,too many bosses or employees that need to be stocking shelves rather than outside smoking their cigarettes and passing the buck on the few that actually try to work and do their job! This actually needs to be seen at upper management level rather than here at this store. We know how it works here!

I’ve seen this store change in a major positive way over the past year. In the past the store was sloppy and dirty the manager was also sloppy. The staff was rude so I stopped coming to this store. Now that they have a new manager and asst. manger with new staff I come here 3-5 times a week. The stores always clean the managers are friendly the staff and cashiers are friendly, it’s a complete change. Now I’m a regular customer again !! Keep up the good work guys !! These pictures I see under the review have to be from last year maybe from a disgruntled ex employee it doesn’t look like these now.

I work at that store and I was trying to move up and the store manager seem like all she wants in a female I seen so many different people try to move up and the get pushed out the door

Management is incredibly rude, and way too focused on taking smoke breaks to actually get anything done properly. Aisles are crowded with merchandise and trash alike. Management apparently doesn't know canned soup doesn't get bagged with bread either.DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!Employees are too busy talking politics to do their job, & ARE THIEVES!!!

This dollar store is just like the rest of them. If you don't have enough room to put everything up instead of leaving those big metal carriers in the isles where you can't push a basket around and look. I've got to park my basket at the end of an isle and go up and down them getting my stuff and then have to carry it all back to wherever I had to leave my basket. I've had all kinds of stuff fall on me and my daughter trying to get something.

Usually can find what I need..the clerks are helpful...just don't like the checkout setup....takes way too long to get checked out and out of there..you don't want to be carrying a gallon of milk before looking..

The Dollar General store in Deweyvile Tx is horrible.it is a SKIDMARK on the underpants of Dollar Stores aside from nothing being remotely close to a dollar,the customer service is HORRID,i would rather get snacks from a hospital full of burn victims and Covid 19 patients.being from a small town we love our Dollar Stores and I want to like this one all the carts full of product in the way of EVERYTHING,the riff raff that hangs out there,and the sub par service make it hard.the manager and asst.manager are really good people,and they stay busy,they might need some real help.i will go back in 3 months and if the isles are clear and service is atleast not rude to me and everyone else I will make a complimentary (good)review twice as long.GET IT TOGETHER

There is too much clutter in the aisles. I am in a wheelchair and must rely on strangers to help me. The employees make me feel like I'm bothering them.

Walked in a half hour before they close. They had everything I needed. Long line, it went quickly. Accuracy was spot on. Thanks for being there.

I really wish they would allow for more than ONE CASHIER!! When you have 10 people standing in line and only one cashier...it's aggravating! Especially when the manager is in the office.
