I came into the store between the hours of 8:30am -9:30am. Being 1 of 3 grocery stores local to Mauriceville, you would expect them to allow you to pay with whatever currency you may have. I bought a few items and only had a $100.00 bill to pay and instead of being allowed to pay for my items and to leave on my way, the store manager very rudely stated that he would not take the money as payment for my groceries because he didn't want to deal with the drawer and when I asked why he refused payment he stated, "Well, most people don't spend $100 bills in the store". Lost a paying customer and I won't be returning.

I love this Dollar General. It's big & clean with lots of stuff and has a pretty large amount of food to choose from...even cold foods.I like the location & just the feel of this store. Always have liked it

Very rude and disrespectful people working there. I had to wait 10 minutes to be checked out and the manager on duty SEEN me and 3 others waiting and did nothing but yell across the store for the man working the register to come check us out. Finally with an attitude she helped him and she ended up ringing me up, she acted liked it was a problem then she handed me a 5 that was my change that didn't look or feel right (I've worked in customer service so I've been handed fake money before) so I asked her to mark it she got an attitude from hell and slammed stuff around looking for a pin to check it and the snapped at me saying it was just a old five and it came from the bank and she would just give me a different one and then slammed the register shut and flung the new 5 at me I was not rude to her so there was no reason for her disrespect me like that when it's her job to help people and it's my money. I will never go in this business again.

They have a lot of merchandise for the size of the store. The staff is friendly and helpful. The check out could get backed up at times. Self check out is coming soon. I will be back.

It's a nice store and the employees are generally helpful and nice. Sometimes the lines get long, but having worked there in the past I completely understand the struggle! Just be patient!

Great little country dollar store conveniently located off highway 12. The usual low prices you would expect and service with a smile at the counter. Redbox rental outside for a movie night if desired.

Average dollar store. Usually has a good amount of merchandise. The check out line can get a bit long at times but fornthe most part it's a decent store.

The Mauriceville location is so much cleaner and well organized. It is a preferable option to the Deweyville store. The service is also much faster
