Selection is alright for the size of town and size of store, but be careful that you don't get in the habit of shopping only at this store. Some prices are comparable to other stores, but I've noticed quite a few things that are up to 30% higher than the DG half a mile away, when volume and brand match exactly.

It has that small town experience, while having everything you need.My Mother lives here in Orange Grove Texas now. She loves shopping at Lowe's. We both look forward to getting our Groceries there.Lowe's store still is amazing! Friendly, helpful employees are always available. Love the new small grocery carts for quick visits.

Just moved here for a 6 month job from the big city....This grocery has a Nice small-town feel. The young lady working the register was patient and helpful as I fumbled with the app ....case of bottled water for 99 cents!Great first time experience . I will be doing all of my food shopping here...Walmart is too far and too big for this country boy...lol

Stopped by to get some Pilgrims Pride Chicken. It was on sale in the Lowes Market app for 50% off. There was a limit of 4 packs. This store is great. Best meat market I've ever seen in a grocery store. Shop here for all of your grocery needs. It's clean. And has that small town homey feel to it. Why shop anywhere else? Lowes Market in Orange Grove is the place to be.

Yeah, it’s pretty much everything you need at a bit higher cost because it is a very rural grocery store. It’s a small local grocery store. Lots of selection on meat and sausage.

A few years ago I constantly had problems with already spoiled milk and produce here almost every time I came here. Some were well past date (by 5 to 10 days), some just spoiled from being improperly stored prior to being put on the shelf.It seems they've fixed the issues and definitely cleaned up the store (corner by the sodas no longer smells like stale urine) in the past year or so. Prices are still very high but I guess it's better than nothing.Side parking lot could really use some repairs.Cashier's have gotten a lot friendlier and faster at checkout, so there is rarely a line even with a bunch of people in the store.

Nice little store! The only thing I would suggest is that they add a gluten free section. I'm really glad they have Fresh Pet! Nice employees too. Keep up the good work!

I’m very grateful to have this little grocery store in our small town. Being on the smaller side, they can’t stock everything and the prices may be a bit higher but the convenience is worth it. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

It's a little pricey, that's to be expected from a small town store. The manager has no people skills. She is rude, doesn't smile. I had to go to the service desk to purchase tobacco. When I asked her if she could bring up my other items as well to make two different transactions she just rolled her eyes didn't say a word started hastily scanning items. When I told her thank you I got no response as well

Went by to purchase a couple of items and my wife called me that she wanted a cantaloupe. I told her that I wasn't good at picking out a good melon. When I went to check out the cashier was overcharging me on the melon 🍈 by weighing it instead of charging me for one at 1.99 ea.

I visited the Orange Grove area recently and shopped at Lowes. What I discovered was a delicious, homemade, smoked sausage sold at their meat section. I look forward to revisiting relatives so I can pick up a few more packages for my freezer!

It was a good visit they had the meat coolers filled this time and 4 check out open. It was a fast in and out. Had 21 items and got dip. I was out in 12 mins. Great job on speeding check out up.

They have what you need but prices are higher than going to a convenience store... They don't have everything in stock and most items are brands that are unheard of. I shop here occasionally only because I live in a rural area and its the only grocery store within 25 miles. If you can avoid shopping here do it.

The only grocery store in Orange Grove, therefore, it's a bit over priced. They also need better fresh vegetables & fruit. It also has a certain smell inside that makes me a little hesitant to enter. I believe if they cleaned up the store, put better quality meats, seafood, and fruit & Veggies. Better selection of all canned food, boxed food, animal food and supplies, along with more office supplies, goodies for the kiddos, etc...btw they don't sell fresh seafood?? WHY?? Then bring those prices down!! They would make more money, plus bring in New and old customers. 😁

Lowes is your typical small town grocery store , very clean ,pretty quiet, and generously overpriced. It may not have everything that Wal Mart or HEB has but it will get you by. On the plus side , they've got a good butcher shop and they sell Orange Grove's not so famous delicious link sausage. Overall it's a small town grocery store with a big city name.

I'm not sure what is going on but this place is one of the worst to keep up with the fuel pumps they are either broken or out of fuel. If you passing by through Orange Grove TX make sure you always have enough fuel to make it to the next town.

Meat is tough! Bought steak last week cooked the same day and was so Tough couldn't eat it! It's like it's cut the wrong way to get tenderizedBought the box of bacon they had on sale and whole box was spoiled so will just buy nonparishable items from now on
