When you buy fried chicken they want to charge you more , to replace the thigh for wing even if the store manager oks it, everyone so rude, For being so expensive you think they want to think of their customers, not at store in Onalaska. Remind you wings are the cheapest piece.only reason I give them three stars is chicken is good, but not worth extra price.

Bought the burgers they have in the meat section. Disgusting. So much gristle. Almost as if they ground up bone and tendons with the meat. It was completely inedible. This is the second issue we have had with their beef. The last time the beef was gray and smelly. Never again.

Just stopped to get cash for granddaughters softball game trip since we got delayed notification and don't usually carry cash... 😂. Bought some snacks so don't fret. Nice small town grocer.

The only place we found canned purple Hill Peas.We also fill my prescriptions there Really helpful and nice employees. Pharmacy employees are knowledgeable and helpful.

This grocery store is Expensive but when you live in a small town it's what you can expect. Otherwise it is very clean, and I have always been treated nicely by the employees.

Shop at Onalaska Brookshire Bros. weekly and for the last 3 weeks the men's restroom has had the urinal broken and the commode plugged up half the time. It is also the filthiest restroom that i have ever been in! With the prices that BB charge, How come BB can't fix the urinal and keep the restroom CLEAN ????

For a rural grocery store, this even beats some of the larger houston stores on quality meats, fruits and vegetables. Their corn on cob is usually very sweet, a few times it wasn't but normally better than had anywhere else. I like country stores because can drive right up, park, get in and out easy compared to big city and this has everything you need. One thing this store hired a couple handicap baggers who sometimes say a weird thing or two but once you learn and realize the store is trying to reach out and help handicap you hopefully can handle, smile, and move on.

Has great customer service especially within the front cashier area, deli and bakery. Would prolly be my main store if prices were not so high. Nearly double in price compared to the heb or Walmart. Lower your prices you’ll be surprised how much more volume will occur in sales.

Went to the store in Onalaska even tho I'm from Coldspring. It was an amazing experience. Food looked fresh and well stocked shelves looked great and love that it has a bakery and deli, the store in Coldspring seems to be stuck in the 70s. I will definitely drive the distance to shop there from now on.

I have my groceries delivered to my home because of illness anda injury l have a hard time getting around. They are wonderful I don't know what I would do without them they are very nice and helpful and my groceries are always delivered on time. I hope you always have this delivery service.

I've been going to this store for 3 years. Everyone there is so friendly. Store is always so clean and stocked. The manager is very nice. He always says hello. I'm always asked if I need help carrying my groceries out. Other stores may be cheaper on prices but I prefer to shop here.

Most of the people that work here are nice, my main problem with this place is the actual produce I buy most of the time I have to dig through it to get good produce sometimes they have a lot of rotten food or food that's turning, once I get it home I better eat it within 2 days whether it's fresh or bagged it doesn't last at all or I have to throw it away. I've bought soured salsa, and meat that tasted strange. If I shop here it would be for one meal and it would be something I eat that day. Otherwise I go elsewhere.

Cold and rainy , but I didn't have enough money to pay for the items in my basket. So I was thinking that maybe someone would have offered to help me out... but you can imagine that I was sorely mistaken as I was in the line and about to provide what I could afford for the items I had. The problem is my crippling social anxiety, but I hear a woman in the line saying that I was incredibly rude for coming out of my house without having the proper amount of money to pay for my own groceries.... I was just so far away in my heart that I was lost in my mind, and I literally felt like I was about to vomit. But I grabbed the money from the person at the register and I ran out of the store... I am just trying to reinforce the next time you are in need please help someone out or forgive them, or just be quiet 🤫. I don't want to be too open with this, but I have not been back in Brookshire brothers yet. I am just so scared to be noticed. If that makes sense to you guys... but if I didn't have the anxiety I could have no problem. Right? 👉 I don't know

Although the prices could be a little better, the service is great. I have been shopping here for 15 years I dearly enjoy seeing the people that work there. Sherry is a great manager or assistant manager and always has a smile on her face. 😁 Keep up the great work you guys.

For as small as it is, it's a good store. It would probably do more business and give a higher quality shopping experience if Brookshire Bros. would update the store. It's an old store. The Pharmacy alone would be worth updating the store. With amount of business it does, I'm sure if it were remodeled it would conner the market, in this area at least. Otherwise a very nice place to pick up a few things.

I have been coming here several years. The staff is always nice... except the deli staff. 1st few times the rudeness was okay. I told myself they could have been having bad days. But after the 5th time of the same attitude. It's clear they get annoyed with making orders. They say be ready in 20 minutes. Show up 30 minutes. To give a little extra time. And still wait another 15 minutes. I am fine with waiting whatever time frame. Just tell me from the get go. But other than that I love this store. Supporting smaller local businesses is my thing. Sorry I had to give 4-5 stars due to my experience. :) have a wonderful year everyone. Wash your hands and practice social distancing. GOD BLESS!

Produce and Meat departments are horrible. Overpriced and expired items everywhere. The meat is dicey. Employees are extremely friendly. I only shop here in a pinch. I hope management picks up their standards a little as lots of people are retiring and moving to the area and it would be nice to have a clean, fresh store to shop in.

Best grocery store close to Point Blank. There is plenty of well lit parking. The inside of the store is super clean and the staff is super friendly. They have a great selection of ice cold beer and very fair price. We visited in the spring and the lines were short. In and out in no time!
