I was hopeful this hotel was going to be decent, but was sorely disappointed, especially for the $80 I paid. It was close to where I was working on a house and when I called and talked to them they told me how wonderful the property was.The reality ended up being a room that was not clean. There were smushed bugs on the wall, a dirty pillow case, the blinds were filthy, everything in the bathroom was really worn.We discovered the water had super low to no pressure so we talked with the front desk and they said they would figure out what was going on. It was pretty late at this point so we went to bed. The water was still not working in the morning so went to talk to the front desk to see about a refund or at least a discount.We were told the water was out in the whole town and she would not refund the money. She came and looked at the room and we pointed out all of the issues and still refused to issue any sort of refund.There was a plumber on the property since they were working on a remodel so we asked him if the water was out in the whole town he said "no, if it had I would have been getting calls all night, yours must have just been turned off". Not sure what was going on and maybe it was a bad day, regardless they didn't do anything to try and make it right and flat out lied about the water situation.I have stayed in some pretty crappy hotels, and this was one of the worst. It wouldn't have been too bad had they at least tried to take pride in cleaning the room and taking care of their customers.Nearby activities: The Dairy Queen down the street was fantastic!

Very friendly place to stay. The atmosphere was very nice. There rooms are very clean. If there is a problem they will take care of it right there on the spot. They do welcome pets. If for some reason your vehicle doesn't start no need to worry They will get you back up on your feet. They do have a RV.park and it is very clean. It's a place where your family can enjoy the comfortable place to enjoy away from home. Don't forget to bring your fishing gear because they do have a large pond to enjoy catching fish. A very clean Atmosphere ! They do also have Satellite for your RV.

I've only stayed here once- but I know people who do stay here & I know the workers- so generally with what the workers have to do, put up with, clean-up & replace/repair I personally think this establishment does a great job. The rooms are basic but as clean as one would expect with the volume of folks in & out of the rooms. They are not new- and if they were they still wouldn't be due to the clientele! Most, not all. Anyways it's a good place to stay for a fair price. Ponds to fish in, good location. I'd recommend this motel.Noteworthy details: Ponds to fish in

The one thing I can say are the people are very nice. The rooms are all smoking rooms and we were not told that; not clean at all; and clean up service was a joke. They make your bed and that’s it. They didn’t leave extra towels, soap, etc for our second day stay. When asked for pillows and towels I was escorted to a shed like room that was very dirty and was given some extra towels. Owner said she would get us some more pillows from her grandchild’s room. The carpets were filthy and were never vacuumed during our stay there . If we had not already paid, we would most definitely stayed somewhere else. Like I said the people were very sweet but the rooms were horrible. All of my other family members got there after we had already checked in and went to look at their rooms and immediately left and went to stay at another nearby hotel which they said was super nice and they were served a great breakfast, and the price was less per night. We did not receive breakfast... and I wouldn’t have eaten it due to the filthy conditions. The ice machine had mold and mildew inside with the ice. I’ve never been a person to post a review but I wouldn’t want anyone to have the experience we had.

The manager was courteous, kind, and friendly. My family booked the double room with the kitchenette; it gave us much needed space. The room was very clean and quiet; there was also a lot of areas to wonder and stretch your legs. The beds, though squawky, were very comfortable. There was also as much hot water as our family needed.The only negative to staying was the spotty internet. The two tvs were dated, too.

The owners treat everyone who comes in like family. The Southern hospitality really shines here. Room rates are fair, they are always clean and staff is available to help anytime you need them. If you're looking for a peaceful place to spend some time, come here, get you a fishing pole and bait and take time to enjoy the quiet of the country.

Cute place. Had a little garden area in center of complex. Also had two separate sleeping areas. The room had a small kitchenette and restroom was redone. Plus the folks who ran it were as sweet as pie. I would absolutely stay again. Upgrade needed on the television sets. But all in all was a great stay.

This place is great for the price. It's not really close to anything other than a gas station and Dairy Queen. You get a site with full hookups for less than $100 a week! The owners are super nice. They have a laundry. Not a ton to offer, but it's a cheap place to recharge for a few days.

No coffee pot, no dinning table, no place to set your luggage, no water cups. It was clean but desperately needs upgrades. Bedspreads ripped, picture frames with broken glass. I just should have gotten a refund and gone to the next town!

I have used the Motel and RV park. Excellent rooms 5 star. Full hook-up RV park located next to the Motel includes large Laundry room with folding tables, Tv. BATHROOMS WITH HOT Showers. The landscaping with the large pond out in front of the Motel really adds to the atmosphere. This real nice place is so unexpected. It's about 8 miles South of I-30 but well worth the drive from the main road. It's really an unexpected Special Place.

This place has really gone down. It used to be a nice place. I have stayed alot in the past. I am not a happy customer. Over priced for what you get. It was really dirty. The bed sheets and towels had stains. Ran out of hot water. There were dryer sheets in the ac vents what do you think thats hiding? I am very disappointed. The pictures on goggle maps are not accurate maybe they are 20.years old.

Very disappointed as we were coming in town for my daughters wedding and reserved 4 rooms. Fortunantly we called because we had a question and we found out that our rooms were canceled by the owner for her family members. Very unprofessional.They did not even bother to call us

Affordable Prices,Actually Cheaper than the Hotel chains,I stayed in the Hot Tub suite,2rooms,and kitchenette.it was1 $89.00 a night.Front desk Lady That Rented it To Me ,Was Amazing!! 💯 It was Last Minute rental,because I reserved A Room In Mt Pleasant Texas thru Hotels .com got there @10:30pm at check-in the man told me I have to put $100 deposit for a room that was $90 Did not expect it,didnt have No extra $for that, So I had to Forfeit my $90 nonrefundable payment off my debit card.I was beside me.lady at cajan inn she took good care of me.she provided Buvvle Bath for Hot Tub in champagne flutes And extra towels & CandlesIt was very quite, layed bk, I enjoyed my Stay I'll will be retuning.

Rv camper hookups are cheaper than other places in the area.I don't know much about the motel.The owners are a nice couple.Some would say there's fish in the pond but I haven't seen anyone catch anything.Fish don't bite in the afternoon and probably over fished over the years.When the owner is not working the desk. The help asks you how much they said or call to verify the price.There is obviously no set price.If you hear 1 price then told another.Tell them, they will charge you the lower.You could even make up your own price.As long as your reasonably close to the prices written down.Watch out for the dogs and cats. Almost ran over the owners and the maintenance persons dog.I wouldn't go swimming in the pond.The only real pictures are from Richards review below. Notice how there are none up close.All others are false.Owners own the convenience store across street as well.

May 21 was one of the worst days in my life on my way home my new car stopped on highway called 911 and they sent me the best police officer in this little town i feel bad because I'm crying my family crying but he went out of his way to make sure we were safe. He dropped us off at this motel in the middle of now where and I promise u this place is heaven sent the owners are the most kind people we lost our food and she offer to buy us some and this morning she knocked on the door with donuts. When I asked how much she just smiled and walked away. I want to thank god for putting me and my family at this motel because the state of mind I was in it gave me time to clear my mind

Sites so small make my slide out not hit the electrical I had the neighbor's sewer under my step, wouldn't even let us use the rest rooms because they couldn't afford to keep them clean, and the running water was out for about 6 hours. You do the math on that one! Keep on driving right past there.

I have family that's utilized this park. It's small but it's clean and open and people are friendly. They have satellite tv and wifi but the only issue is most people can't catch the wifi signal and that's a real bummer... especially since it's listed as something that's offered and included in the price.

The road into the RV park is very bumpy and rough. It was loud outside while I was there. I don't see getting any rest or relaxing there with all the noise from the neighbors, and traffic in and out. I won't go back. More like the slum then an RV park.
