Manager ( who has long beard)is not helpful at all and treated me for no reason for return process next time he will give me hard time but there won’t be next time shopping it’s easy to lose customers but hard to earn there is tons of options to shop with this attitude do not expect to achieve any success . I didn’t even explain myself to him because with that much proud he won’t even listen a customer.

I am usually a PetSmart customer but I went in to see what reptiles they had compared to PetSmart and they just have a bigger selection overall, even with their mammals. Anna helped me out and she was amazing, very patient and knowledgeable. I wish they had more people like this at these retail stores in Odessa. She will definitely go above and beyond at making sure you know your pets needs and maybe even teach you something new! Thank you for the great experience! Hopefully I continue to have good ones!

Whoever is in charge of these employees needs to pick better ones, every time I come in these employees just suck at customer service, Lillian couldn’t even say hello after “I” greeted her. Definitely switching my business back to PetSmart at least their employees have manners and customer service and enough top counter space to put my stuff on.

Waited over 20 minutes for help to get fish one employee said he would be right there and then 3 minutes later walked.out the door another employee said she help and went to help people who just got there never got any fish worst experience ever

It was hard to find a fish tank that didn’t have dead fish and ich. Sooooo much ich. They were still selling the fish. The fish obviously had so much ich. There was a fish at the bottom of a tank. It had been there for so long it was decaying. They have such a nice selection of fish. Too bad they will likely all die within the next week.

This poor red foot tortoise at Petco is a tropical species that should be living at 70 to 90% humidity and they have him living at 30% humidity. The sign under the tank even says the humidity level they should be at! The left end of the tank is at 25% and the right end is at 30% so he is essentially living in desert/moderate climate.

Probably the worst. Opening time 4 employees outside smoking in the front. No one manning the front. Clerk at checkout just on his phone lol. I always forget “never petco” lmfao

Sylvia, supervisor in grooming is the lowest class of service you can expect. Extremely rude and very unprofessional. They don't do a good job in grooming and have unexeperienced staff. NO THANKS.

Scam company. Ordered $7 dollar shampoo for pet and ordered with monthly reorder. The first order was ordered as a pickup. I assumed repeat orders would be ordered as pickup too. Nope, repeat order was shipped with $10 shipping fee. No disclosure that this would be shipped. Didn't even order it to be shipped.

Cynthia did great with our babies. We usually know when my shihtzu has had a good experience by the way she behaves after the groomer appointment. She was hyped and happy after it and overall experience was great with her. Thank you Cyn

Sierra,When the owner advises the pet dislikes it’s feet or teeth touched and request only a bath and haircut next time listen. I dropped off at 10 am and receive a call at two and a half hours later that you can’t perform a haircut due to his stress and aggression when simply asked for a bath and cut but you were able to brush his teeth and trim his toes?? Please listen to the owner next time.

Cynthia, groomer at Petco Odessa, is top notch!!! She has been my little dog's groomer for several years and is always loving, caring, professional and adores my little one. We could ask for no better!!

They have good quality healthy food for dogs and cats. The staff is awesome they go out of there way to help you find what you need and are very friendly. Today I found a healthy treat fir my dog that is low fat one ingredient snack which is perfect for him since he's on a restricted low fat diet!!!

There was an altercation at the counter where she asked me twice regarding an insurance pet policy she was selling, i told her politly that if she would just throw it in the BAG with my items i could look into it later , and then rang me up without charging me for a bag which apparently is a charge here and not knowing that as being a first time inside the store customer, so after she rings me up she pushes my items towards me and just looks at me and I "ask for a bag politely and she states oh " I'm sorry I was so busy try to advertise the new insurance policy to you I forgot to charge you for one. I told her that was ok and but i did not want to proceed to run my card again for only 10 cents and checked my change wallet and did not have enough so I ask if I could still please have a bag as I had several items laying on the counter and was never aware of the process with Pet Co. She tells me NO rudely. I then decide I do not want to do business and feel that I should have been offered a bag due to not being informed and asked to return my items and I would continue to do business with Petsmart and she states OH MY GOD petsmart would charge for them to you probley just don't know about it" I let her know that was fine as long as it was asked before I was rang up and continued with my return , recieved my refund and left. I will NEVER BE BACK!!!!PETCO HAS LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD!

Another satisfied customer! There's nothing quite as exciting as a new toy...unless I also bring home stinky cat treats. I haven't been out to shop much in the last four months and I thought it would fun to shop at Petco early on a Saturday morning. I put a hat on over my uncombed, uncut mess of hair, donned a facemask and sunglasses, and drove out into the wide world to shop. One of the things I love about Petco is the sweet smell of litter they use in the rodent enclosures. I might be in the store to shop for my cat, but I roam the whole store to look at the mice, the hamsters, and all the toys and food. It's a nice break from being at home.

Went there and purchase Orijen product and i was the only one in line but the cashier took forever and she was just really slow that line became longer. She never ask for any help at all and was just totally unmindful of the situation. My lunch was all burned out. I decided that I will go back to chewy for Orijen products since Petsmart doesn't carry it.

As a whole the store is great! But service here can be a bit frustrating something is always wrong with the registers, and employees running the floor are also checking out clients. So they are all over the place.

The sales woman who waited on me for was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products in the store that I was interested in purchasing and she took my updated information for the points reward program. She couldn't have been any more helpful than she was. Found most of what I was shopping for. The only small complaint I had was their dog bed selection was limited. I did find a suitable bed though. The store was very clean and my dog had a great time also.

Very grim and gloomy vibe in the store. Kind of solemn and downbeat. Seems there were too few employees for as many customers but there were only that many customers because the registers were down for a little while. Seems the dark and dreary atmosphere is doing a number on the employees morale and demeanor and they are just unable to disguise it as hard as you can see them trying. They smile but you can tell they are unhappy or fearful. I guess it's like everywhere, brick and mortar falling victim to online just like mom and pop fell victim to big box
