Took our little chica to get groomed. They did an amazing job. When we brought her in she had a lot mats in her hair and was really in need of a bath. Now she is so soft and looks and smells so good. We are so happy and would highly recommend Melinda’s for grooming. Also when we picked her up she was so happy and seemed really comfortable being there.

I've used just about every groomer here in west texas, and while some of them were good, none of them have impressed me as much as Melinda's. Yes, it's further from my house then the others, but absolutely worth it. My shih tzus are my babies, and I fully trust Melinda's grooming staff to take care of them while there. I recommend Melinda's to everyone.

They have excellent customer service. My dog Grizz got his first real groom today and they did very well. He’s so soft and is super cute! Will definitely go again and they’re a million times better than PetSmart.

Don't recommend.One of the employees didn't listen to CLEAR directions and shaved my moms pomeranian. She went in wanting a basic cut, trim, and sanitary shave, and ended up ruining her coat by doing whatever she wanted and shaved her down.BEWARE.Will take business elsewhere to Marty's or Petsmart.

This place is absolutely great! I dropped off my dogs and within a few hours they were ready to be picked up. The ladies that work at Melinda’s are wonderful and caring to the dogs! Absolutely a place I will continue to use for my dogs!

I asked for bath and de shedding of my Husky only the bath was done . I asked if I needed to remove his collar ad was told to leave it . Went to pick him up and the collar was lost along with rabies tags . Extremely disorganized nobody knows anything and the services rendered were not what asked for . Will not take my dog there again .I appreciate the response from the owner . Everyone has good and bad days . The collar meant so much because my son who recently passed away bought it for my dog . I will try this business again and update .

Today I took my dog for the first and last time to this place. It was worse service ever I ask for nail trim, and face trim picked up after 5 hours pick up my dog and I had to turn around they forgot to do her nail trim, they trim her nails and made her bleed guess they don’t love her job!on top of that I was charged $60 for this service save your time and money and go elsewhere.

First time trying this place. Our dogs don't even get haircuts, they only get their paw pads trimmed so they don't slip on the floor and they did not trim them after I reminded them again at drop off. When my wife picked up the dogs and mentioned their paw pads not being trimmed they were extremely rude and just blamed it on the groomer working the morning shift. Also dropped the dogs at 7:30am and they were not ready until after 4:00pm so they were kenneled all day. Terrible experience all around, definitely will not go here again.

This place is the best! The price is great, the staff is very friendly and my Kimber always looks beautiful when I pick her up. I also appreciate that she is always ready to be picked up on my lunch break.

I brought my 4 month old goldendoodle here after taking him to pet smart a few times and them doing a horrible job every time just on the trim. Due to a water issue that affected the entire city, they were able to reschedule my appointment and get my puppy in as soon as possible. I was greeted by friendly ladies, I wish I would have gotten the name of the very nice lady who helped me out. She listened to what I wanted done and was patient. My baby was done in a timely manner, and I was in shocked by how amazing he looked. This was his very first haircut and I was so scared he was not going to look like I wanted. I will be returning frequently here to get my puppy groomed. I definitely recommend bringing your furr babies here.

Great grooming service! I have gone with them for about a year and they have always taken care of my fur baby. She comes out looking beautiful with a new bandana always to match the season. I really appreciate the services and flexibility they provide. I hope you too bring your fur baby for their haircut and grooming needs here.

I took my dog to a previous dog groomer a few weeks back and they kept my dog for a full day only to find out they didn't do anything to her. They stated they were unable to help her. Fastfoward to this weekend, I took my dog to Melinda's Grooming and they by far exceeded my expectations! They were able to groom my baby and leave her beautiful! I'm so impressed and will definitely go back! I've found my GO TO grooming place in West Texas for sure.

Very Good Groomer! We have taken our dogs here twice so far. Once just before the Christmas holiday and again last week. They do a great job. One of our fur babies needs alot of special attention because of his breed and coat. The other has much less demanding requirements. They both come home looking and smelling wonderful. Our dogs are very attached to each other and since they are small they allow them to inhabit the same cage which we greatly appreciate. Melinda's is very busy but you can generally get an appointment the next day after you call. Their staff is very concientious and pays attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Noisy, dishonest, and Ill prepared for cats. It appeared that they did a good job on dogs; however, do not ever take your cat here. I would be happy to give anyone an expatiated explanation for my one star (regretably, I cannot give any lower rating) review if you message me. Save your cat the trauma and yourself the raised blood pressure by going to a place with less eardrum shattering barking (for starters.) It gets worse from there... SMDH 🤨

After some mix up with the vet next door not doing their job, we had everything worked out with the groomer. The ladies went out of their way to get my dog shaved up and nails trimmed. They were also able to bathe him. Staff is very patient and understanding. Highly recommend

Melinda's Grooming has been the best place I have ever taken my dogs. They're awesome at scheduling and their use of technology by sending you an email or text message to remind you that you need to get your dog groomed. The best is my dog is "Happy" when I go to pick them up and they smell so good! Great customer service and they work hard to get you in to fit with your schedule. I will not take my dogs any place else ever.

I've been taking my 12-year-old pomeranian to Melinda's since she was about 5 years old. They always give good service and do a great job. They always have her ready at the time I request, and treat her with lots of love.I love being reminded by text-message of my dog's appointment too.I highly recommend this groomer.

Today was our first time here. As we just moved to the area a few weeks ago, I had been researching local groomers and felt confident in choosing Melinda's. The reviews and responses seemed wonderful, and the prices equally so. However, the service we received was subpar, to say the least. We walked in simply requiring a nail trim. A redheaded woman with facial piercings left the dog she was actually in the middle of grooming, and tugged our dog right down to the ground to spend about 30 seconds "trimming" his nails. In reality, she snipped the absolute bare minimum off the ends and even completely skipped (or chose to overlook) more than a few. My S.O. even had to help calm our dog down, because he is an older and very sensitive dog, and this woman's best course of action was to simply wrestle our poor pup to the floor, maybe a foot from the door as we stood by awkwardly and stared in confusion. At no point did she ask our dog's name, or even ours for that matter, make pleasantries or inquiries, or explain why it seemed necessary that we stand there and hold our dog down while this "professional" did what I consider to be the worst nail trimming I've ever seen in my life. This happened on Feb 9th, around noon. We will not be back.Edit: in absolutely no way was our boy having any kind of fit or reaction, he is the most submissive dog ever. Simply poor handling on the groomer's part. If she repeatedly needs reprimands, as you yourself admit, perhaps you should rethink her employment.

I've taken my girls to Melindas for over 2 years and have always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. They are near my house which is convenient but after this visit I will NOT be taking my girls back to them. They have changed the prices multiple times withing these past 2 years from 65 to 85 to 102 for what reason I do not know. The last visit when I went to pick up my girls they had them locked in a bathroom instead of in a cage and this time my dog was returned to me with grass still stuck in her legs and knots they seem to have loss the value of buisness and its VERY POOR quality work I paid $50 for 2 baths ONLY and yet the job still was not right. I've grown frustrated with this buisness and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND the conveniency of them being closer to our home doesn't even matter anymore because the work is just bad all the way around at this location.
