Very disappointed. I’m giving one star, because I appreciated the last minute availability. I wish I could add affordability to my list of pros, however the 28$ per night rate I was given was false. When I made the drive to drop off my dog, I was told the rate would be 25$ for the four nights, with an additional 28$ for the first three nights because it was a holiday… okay that was fine. The total was 184.00$, as I went to pay the lady said “ops let me add the tax I forgot”… the total was then 193$. Okay… that was fine too, as I’m sighing my receipt I noticed the “taxes” were put in as an 9$ tip. Im a huge supporter of small businesses so I let it slide.But it got worst when I went to pick my dog up. First off, I had to be there at 2:30 and the doors didn’t even open to more then 15 min after. Then as I went to pick up my dog and her belongings (bed, toy, bone, and 40lbs unopened dog food bag) they said I didn’t bring any food with me… but I DID and I demanded they find it, to which they said they accidentally gave it to the man who came before me (who had two large dogs) and they can reimburse me 15$ because the dog food was about empty( probably because they were feeding two large dogs with it). Will never come here again. Also the living conditions were terrible for the animals.

They take such good care of our Giant "Little Foot" He has become part of the Crystal Palace Family and they have become a part of ours! Little Foot gets excited to go and excited to come home lol

I absolutely love this place! Crystal and her husband do an amazing job with all the animals and I know my dog loves it because he gets excited as soon as we turn the corner! I’m also thankful for the bath service! Tip: book in advance for holidays they fill up

Love the service my pups happy here. When I went to visit her I could tell she been well taken care. I would definitely recommend bringing your fur baby here.if you plan on taking a trip or are in town working. Crystal and her daughter are amazing.

I was nervous about leaving my puppy for the first time but after crystal gave me a tour of the place i felt better. she even posted pictures on facebook of him and let me call to check up on him. I can tell they love what they do and they treat the animals with so much love and care.

I placed my pups here for about a week while I went on vacation. My pups did not look mistreated or scared. They were well taken care of. They have dogs in the office area which show how well they take care of them, I was expecting to smell poop and pee immediately after entering becasue I could see them from the window, but it seems to me that they keep the pets clean and pick up after them immediately. I will definitely be using there services again.

I have been to Crystal’s numerous times. I never have to worry when I drop off my English Mastiff. I know he is in great hands, especially since I know that Crystal is a pet lover herself. Our experience was awesome with this kennel! It was our first time having to leave our furbabies. After meeting the folks here and seeing the facility I had no worries. My 5 month old Rottweiler stayed 4 nights with them, he seemed to have a good time because he did not want to leave. I’m very pleased how they took good care our puppy, I will be using them for now on.

Crystal is amazing. I have never left my dogs before but knew in my heart, they would be fine once i talked with her and seen the place they would be staying at. They do not jam your dogs into tiny cages, instead they have a huge pen inside as well as a big shaded pen outside. Mine girls are not an easy breed and i made sure to tell Crystal about their escape and run habits. Dogs were safe and secure the whole time. What originally was supposed to be 3 days turned into 6, Crystal more than accommodated them until i could bring them home. The girls got to stay together while they were there. Their food and feeding schedule was stuck to. Even the husband and daughter helped! Now thats a family business. Never again will i have to stress about where they will stay if anything happens again. Another bonus is that she takes fleas very seriously and they didnt bring home any unwanted visitors. I highly recommend this place. Your mind will be put at ease.

We took our dogs in on Thursday and picked them up today. Our dogs have never had problems with food aggression or being with each other. I called this morning and let them know I was coming to get them. They only advised me then that 2 of my dogs had fought for food and one had bit the other one in the eye! They never called to tell me or took him to the vet. Once I showed up I saw why they had been fighting they are so skinny you can see their ribs. They were filthy and smelled of urine. I don’t believe they take good care of the animals. They should have called us sooner and they should have been fed properly. And they should never smell like pee!

This place gets 3 stars only for their effort and for the love and kindness shown by the staff and because their prices are reasonable. While I do believe these business owners are dog lovers and the dogs weren't neglected, I'm concerned that they don't quite know some key things about properly caring for dogs. My dogs were overfed... particularly Dixie, a 20 lb. border collie/terrier mix. Dixie gained 5 pounds in 10 days while boarded here. She now weighs 25 lbs. To put that into perspective, that's the equivalent of me, a 190 lb. man, gaining 47.5 pounds in a week and a half. I sent the dogs with two, one-gallon freezer bags full of food which was plenty enough for there to be some left over until I got back from my 10-day trip. I thought there was no way they could finish all of it, and they completely ran out well before I got back. Now, Dixie has diarrhea due to eating food that her stomach is not used to. Anyways, no animal should gain 25% of their weight in a week and a half, especially one with knee problems such as Dixie. In general, dogs should consume 2-3% of their body weight daily. Therfore, a 20 lb. dog (Dixie, for example) should eat between 6.4 and 9.6 ounces per day (180g-272g per day). Also, both dogs came back pretty dirty, and I didn't realize how much so until I got all the way home and started petting them more. Another concern of mine is the fact that the staff thought Dixie was a puppy only a few months old. That's confusing to me because I included both of their ages in the quite lengthy paperwork that is REQUIRED upon check-in. I really wish they would take more time to read through their paperwork and realize they are not caring for a puppy but a 3-year-old, adult dog who should not be fed nearly as often or as much as a puppy. Other than the things mentioned above, they seem to have been loved and cared for reasonably well. If they are willing to work a bit harder on feeding regimens, I would be willing to give them another shot.
