This was my first time visiting this store and it was a very good experience. The staff was helpful, and the store manager Damon gave me a lot of insight on the best foods for my dog 🐕. Very friendly people. If you need to know what is best for your pet please visit this store. Great experience for being new to the state.

Called 2 locations asking for bunnies on Tuesday of last week (this one being one of them) they were both out. Which if fine both locations told me they would get some arrive Thursday same week. Called Thursday again to both locations and they both said they had some. Drove thirty minutes to north Richland hills location and tried to get one the manager on duty at the time said every time they get bunnies they have to wait 3 days quarantine before they sell them so I would have to go back Sunday and fill out adoption papers BUT first come first serve. Called the other location they sold me one same day and stated unless they are sick would be the only reason they wouldn’t sell but the manager didn’t say that if they were sick only said after they arrive they HAD to stay quarantine my question is why did she not tell me that on the phone if that was the case when I called to ask if they had any available and why didn’t she want to sell me one?. From the beginning the interaction was off Anyway, a little disappointed with the service felt a little pushed away. Thanks to the other location though awesome people. Love the bunny

This is by far my favorite pet store in the metroplex. While it’s not the biggest store, it always has a little bit of everything when it comes to pets and supplies. It also has 2 of the greatest employees, Veronica and Hannah, who are always so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I take my kids at least every other week and spend 2 hours there while they hold and learn about all the different animals.

Drove over an hour to get here because it says online that they are open unti 8pm. Finally get here at 7:10pm and there is a sign on the door that they are closing at 7pm as of February 25th. Update your damn hours online if you change them. Wasted over 2 hours of my time and gas.

The staff here was super helpful and helping me pick out stuff for the dog I was totally out of lost trying to figure out what to get and as it turns out the thing she gave me the dog loves and has not cheated up yet so absolutely wonderful staff thank yall

We've been using this location for over 6 months now. Some of the staff are amazing, attentive and have a wealth of knowledge about the animals. You are going to pay a little bit more here on big products vs massive chains but they have much more variety for smallers animals. My neighbour also raves about their dog treats near the counter

3/4 of the feeder fish we bought died overnight. It wasn't our tank... husband has 6 tanks running and knows what he's doing.Don't buy fish at Pet Supermarket

I had the sweetest lady help me the other day with some dog food that I needed to exchange (wasn’t the right kind for my maltipoo) I called ahead of time and she was the NICEST associate ever and then when I came in, she remembered me and helped me right away. Love this pet store. ❤️

wonderful store, but negative experience with manager, while i was coming in a few months back for some shampoo for my dog, i was instantly greeted with the manager shouting across the store at one of the other employees for who knows what. it looked like the employee on the other end of that was new, but they checked us out and we’re very helpful to us. either way, it made me very uncomfortable and i haven’t gone back since. customers notice this behavior and i think situations like this should be handled more professionally to make it a safer space for people just looking to buy some food for their pets.

Quality of animal care has dropped recently. My daughter used to always comment to me how well cared for the animals here were compared to most other chain stores, but noted that's changed over the past few weeks.Has a fine selection, but "just like any other pet store now". Disappointing.

My step-daughter needed a live mouse for her pie-ball python. They were so great! Both employees were very friendly and helpful. They also are very helpful over the phone as well. Highly recommend for your pet needs. Wonderful selection of animals as well.

Our 20-year old ball python has become quite picky about her meals. The store associates here are always so kind about letting us look at the selection of feeder mice and rats. These people care about all animals equally and it shows 🐍

We’ve been shopping here for a few years mainly to support the this little operation. This morning was the worst experience I’ve ever had here! I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. Employee acted as if we were putting her out with a simple request to purchase some pet food and then pay for it. No greeting of hello when we walked in just looks of disgust from this same employee. I get we all have bad or off days, but this was ridiculous. Maybe working in customer service is the wrong field for this person. Guess we will head back to the big box store or chewy.com.

By far the most helpful and most knowledgeable staff anywhere hands down. I have frequently gone here and they always ask if I need help. They have helped me find things for my dog and for my fish. Offer advice and are never pushy on products. They are friendly and take care if their animals. They honor coupons and go the extra mile to assure you get the best bang for your buck. They even price match! The biggest help is when I have my kids with me they have always gotten a large 55lb dog food and helped me carry it to my car. You won't find this service and care at any other big pet store. Love love love! Will always be back!

I visited yesterday (6/22/20) evening. Two team members assisted me, and they were incredibly friendly! They met all of my questions with unbiased answers and didn’t try to force any specific products on me as I shopped around for my leopard gecko. They also helped me load a tank and a stand into my truck! Unfortunately, I didn’t catch names, but the name “Chelsea” is on my receipt. Because of the great employees, and the variety of products available, I will definitely visit again!

Great employees,great variety of dog n cat food with huge selection of treats. Some small animals-parakeets,bunnies,betas etc and sometimes cats for sale. Store always clean. The Betta i bought here has been alive for 3 years.

I really like the selection of products that they have. Their customer service is pretty good too. They are friendly but sometimes there's a knowledge gap (for example, I was looking for a particular type of dog food once -salmon based- and they had it - but they had trouble finding it). Also, they are on the more expensive side as well (albeit, to be fair, they have good product too). Overall, I like them enough to keep shopping here.

Ack! Everything I touched didn't have a price on it. Had to drag items up front to ask price. Was frustrated and asked Why??!!! They said they put the items out a few days ago and they are working on it. Here's a novel idea - When items are put out on floor, tag them then! Takes less than than a minute to slap a price sign on a big box of toys, considering they were all the same price! Did I purchase any of the items in store? Nope...just because I was not a happy customer having to spend time asking prices. Pet Supermarket, lest at this location, needs to get their act together if they want to make an impression and a sale. PS, someone told me this was called "price gouging" and some kind of law that businesses have to post prices when item is on floor. I haven't heard of such..but in my own defense I am one frustrated customer.

The people are friendly. I have been here two or three times, and it's kind of fun to shop. They have a lot of toys and fun things, but they don't have everything. This is not a giant place. It is convenient to my home, though, and sometimes it is nice to have a smaller place to buy pet supplies.

Awesome customer service, knowledgable staff even about the rats! Also a fair price for feeder mice. I bring in my own container to minimize the waste of boxes which was no problem.Best of all, after a few bags of my large dog food purchases (Tatse of the Wild Salmon) I get a $5 off reward. I use that either for another rat or to knock a few bucks off of my next bag. I like that I can also rack up the rewards.My last pet store
