Everyone here is so kind, they truly care about your pets. I love that you are able to be in the room for most of the exam/booster shots with your pet. The technicians and the doctors are knowledgeable and patient. HIGHLY recommend this clinic.

My husband and I have been trusting the care of our baby boy Erebus to Family Pet Clinic ever since 2020 when we adopted him from North Richland Hills Animal adoption and Rescue Center. He was just a wee babe when they started seeing him at only 4 months old. It is so hard to believe he will already be turning 3 this year. We love the staff here, always so friendly and helpful, and always with a smile (even when things get tough.) Our vet, (unfortunately I can not remember his name right now, I am ashamed...) is so wonderful to us and is always willing to take the time to answer any questions that we have, and makes sure we have all of the information we need to make sure our little one is as happy and healthy as he can possibly be. I definitely recommend Family Pet Clinic to anyone who is looking for care for their pets. Special thank you to EVERYONE at Family Pet Clinic for taking care of and loving our Erebus like he is one of your own. Family Pet Clinic is an essential member of our own family.

Staff always friendly and helpful. The Docs here are exceptional. This time we got to see Dr Ford himself who founded the clinic. He is experienced, calm, and genuinely cares about pets and their families.We have a big hearted friendly Australian shepherd. He has been a regular patient as he ages. The staff oohed and ahhed over him a few days ago. One staffer wanted a photo of him and I took it of not only her but another staffer with him. Cooper is holding his leash because I tell people he walks himself. I wish.

Highly disappointed and after several years, will not be bringing any family pets back. After explaining I just lost my job and limited on funds, I was forced to pay for an unnecessary rabies shot. The vet tech first said the doctor could waive for another day but then she refused. No consideration or empathy was given to myself or my pet. I was even charged for a swab mite test before the doctor exam because the tech said it was absolutely the issue, that wasn’t the issue. The doctor finally came in, looked in her ear and said she “could see” no mites. I would have $75 more in my pocket to feed my family and care for my cat if this office had been more considerate and kind. It appears, greed was more important than humanity and compassion for this office.

I had a horrible experience with this clinic!I brought my puppies to dock their tails and remove their dewclaws. After they’ve been holding them over an hour, I finally got my puppies back.When I brought puppies home one of the puppy ear had marks .Next day, my puppy was very ill. I have to run to the emergency room to save my puppy.Unfortunately, my puppy lost his ear, the tail is infected and will be disable for rest of his lifeOf course, when I call the office, they will not admit their fault and hang up the phone on me.I have to go and follow a lawsuit against them!Do not let your pets out of your side!!!!

I took my pet there Tuesday and she was diagnosed to be in dire need of emergency surgery. Dr Swanson performed the surgery for 3 1/2 hours. She literally saved my dog. I wish I could give 10 stars for their performance and care of her. The entire staff was very kind and attentive to my needs and concerns. Thank you all so very much.

I could not ask for a better vet. They have taken wonderful care of all 3 of my cats. They were kind, sensitive and gracious when we had to help one of ours cross the rainbow bridge, and have been prompt at caring for any issues with our other two. All the doctors are great, and the staff is truly top-notch. Their pricing is fair, they take care credit and their paw plans are a good way to save some money for preventative procedures.

This is the most amazing vet I have ever met!! I had rescued a stray cat and showed up to see if there was any chance they could see this cat to check for leukemia and AIDS, and check him for any parasites. I did not have an appointment, but they took my little stray baby to examine him and run tests. I had to make sure that he was safe to go to my house where I already have 2 cats. They were so nice and caring. I do not think that I can express my gratitude toward these ladies. The kitty is now home and settling in. Y’all are amazing!!

I brought my older cat in for some bloodwork to see why he wasn't eating. They were so helpful and friendly. The Dr. diagnosed the problem and we talked about trying a new prescription food. He explained everything so that I understood what was going on. They are very caring here and I feel like my pets are in good hands.

First of all the staff is very kind. (most of the receptionist and some of the techs. I can’t blame them as they do not make policy) But, I have referred people to this clinic for 2 decades and never will again. I have recently seen that they add charges that seem redundant and unnecessary. I needed a very stressful service today and honestly their “policies“ added so much more stress, it was 100% greed in my opinion. Trying to earn as much money as possible, instead of caring about animals. But the money wasn’t even the worse part.This is sad to me because I have been going to that clinic for 20 years. I learned a lot about them from this experience. I did not like what I learned.. I have over 25 years experience in this field, and have never seen such extraordinarily high prices.Luckily I found a clinic that would let me pay BEFORE they put my dog to sleep. (That was one of the issues)No one wants to stand around and pay their bill knowing their pet is in the room dead. Most people want to put the animal to sleep and leave ASAP. Plus the other clinic was $200 less expensive for the same exact service minus the unnecessary exams and fear the animal would go tbrough . It really shows me that this clinic takes advantage of people when they are in desperate times with their pet.UPDATE: I revisited this clinic after years, everyone there seem so nice, the technician was a sweetheart and the vet was awesome. Everyone was very professional as well as friendly and accommodating. I am so happy that things are different since my visit years ago. I WILL be going back for our pet care. ❤️

It appears that this Vet Clinic preys on the pet owner's emotional attachment of thier pet to over charge and make money.I took my pet there, and was charged $730 for an xray and blood test. They told me that the dog needed a blood transfusion and operation to the tune of $8000, or I could put the dog down for $230 and a cremation for $450.To make a long story short, I took my dog to Allen Vet Hospital. They immeadiatly, gave the dog a blood transfusion, performed an xray, did 2 blood tests, and was scheduled for a surgery. Unfortunately, my dog took a turn for the worse and had to be put down.The total bill for lab tests, 2 day stay at the clinic, blood transfusion, being put down and a private creamation, was $820.If you have the time to go to Allen TX, I highly recommend taking your pet to the Allen Vet Hospital. They go above and beyond to treat your pet and do not charge an arm and a leg.

My girl, Molly is a 56lb Pitty. She is not a fan of going to the vet. Her recent visit was the best. The staff quickly got us a room and a tech when we got there so she didn't have to sit and get more restless. They worked with and understood her issues. So appreciated. They are all awesome!

I could go on and on about how much I love this pet clinic! We have been coming her for over 10 years and they are the BEST! We were forced to try other vets when we moved away for a few years and didn’t find anyone comparable. They are kind and personable, very good with troublesome dogs, reliable, and reasonable. They have gotten us through puppyhood, a very nervous dog and an old dog that had to be put down. I drive 20 minutes to their office the the offices closer to my house so not compare.

Excellent vet services. My gecko had an issue but Dr. Ford promptly fixed it with great care and gave very valuable information about my gecko. Very quick and easy procedure. Taylor the Vet Technician was also very polite and helpful, definitely would recommend.

I am so glad we found Family Pet Clinic of NRH. Everyone there is always so excited to see Rambo and they are so patient when I have a million questions, even one's that seem silly. We have always been able to schedule appointments quickly and without having to wait weeks and weeks to be seen.Rambo is a pretty large, very excited boy and LOVES when he has vet appointments. That has to say something! We have seen Dr Ford and Dr Mumm and both were outstanding along with all the nurses/technicians and other staff we have encountered. There isn't a negative thing I can say about this place. If you want to take your pet babies to a place that will love them as much as you do, this is the place.
