The district manager at this store is untrustworthy. Tonight my husband bought 5 2 liter Dr. pepper’s because the ad that was displayed said buy 3 get 2 free. Originally they are $2.79 each. When he was checked out my husband noticed he was charged for all 5. The district manager told the cashier to give him $2.79 back. My husband explained that he refund would still be short for the price of one 2 liter Dr. Pepper. When he said something to the district manager, the manager told the cashier to give him $3.37 back which is still not a full refund for the 2. The district manager also lied to my husband and told him the ad expired yesterday but since it was still up he had to give him the refund. I went back to the store and spoke with the district manager. I told him he needed to take his ad signs down and he told me the ad was still good through 01/10/2023. So I proceeded to explain that he didn’t give my husband a full refund. He tried to explain that he refunded him but I did the math and told him how $3.37 doesn’t add up to $5.58. He looked at the floor and muttered how he needed to give the money back. He was disrespectful. It wasn’t until after I fully did the math for him and explained how he was wrong that he even attempted to own up to being wrong. I checked out and bought what I needed. He still did not issue me a refund for the products that we purchased that he tried every excuse not to give us our money back for. I asked for the regional managers information and then I received an attitude from him. He told me he was the district manager and I explained I wanted the information for the manager who was above him. He rolled his eyes and let me know she will be there tomorrow. I will be there tomorrow to make a complaint and him because he used every excuse he had to keep our money and not refund us which is stealing. He is rude, disrespectful, and untrustworthy. I have been living here for almost 2 years and have had several encounters with him and I have never been so disrespected until I called him out on his own mistake and he refused to give us our money back. I understand it’s not much money but that is stealing.

This store is a joke. Prices are out of this world and after paying the high prices the food is not good. Not to mention their staff, some not all are absolutely rude and to tell me She’s going to need me to start bagging my groceries in a very rude manner, I walked out. I do not work there for one, 2 do your job you are being paid for and 3 if she had asked me instead of demanding me to I would had never left the store and absolutely would had done it. But the attitude she gave was completely rude, I am not her employee and I will not be talked to like that as a paying customer. I will not be back to this store, I will drive an extra 30 minutes to get better service. If you don’t want to keep losing customers I suggest you get better employees working here.

I just made a review about this store and the “district manager”. I went back today and spoke with the assistant store manager and found out the name of the guy who was so rude to me. His name is Jason. Found out he LIED again. He’s not even the district manager!!! He is just the night shift manager. Come on Jason! Do better!!! As for Brookshire brothers, I hate that an employee like that is representing such a great place especially when all the other employees have always been so wonderful. Please don’t just let this slide. He obviously can’t be trusted.

Considering this store is located in a very small community, I have been very impressed with their product quality and availability! The meat market well stocked with fresh meat, and employees are willing to make special cuts very blend of sausage, etc. Produce is fresh and varied. Prices do not seem too unreasonable, and they observe the same sales as all Brookshire Brothers stores.

The staff are great people. Customer service is wonderful. I gave it 3 stars because their prices are quite high. I have a B.B. in my town and the prices are considerably lower. I think the reason they charge more is because they are the only grocery store in town. Still it is ashame that they do that.

The best meat market In 3 counties. Fresh produce. Limited stock but that's the case everywhere. The staff needs better training but the perishable departments more than make it worth the trip to Normangee.

Even though the Brookshire Bros. Grocery store is somewhat small and Abit more expensive than larger stores in surrounding cities, they have a good supply of everyday needs. They have a courteous staff and a better than average butcher.Did not expect to find toilet tissue and paper products there today (ha,ha) but it is a very convenient store for us. Thanks,Gene

This store, especially the meat market, has issues. I have purchased steak two times now only to get home to find they smelled bad. Apparently hold times and temperature control aren't a thing here.

Produce and meat are less than fresh and prices are ridiculously high. The selection leaved something to be desired also. Only thing it has going for it is for the most part the staff is friendly and helpful though. Hence the 3 stars.

I expect the cashiers and baggers to be taught about bagging groceries. I take special effort to place my items on the conveyer belt the way I would like them placed in my bags. Cans and heavy items together, all cold stuff together and all tender produce together (especially high priced fruits and avacados). But Everytime i go there in spite of my efforts items are placed without any thought to cold packing. I've had avocados placed with heavy items and dry goods placed with my ice cream and Popsicles. I drive a good distance to get home. I am getting really tired of this.

Well there really high and there expensive also twice already i've gotten bad meat. Looked good when i bought it and going to cook it the following evening and took it out of the icebox and notice the bones on one side of family package of pork chops I tell you where green and other side wasn't I swear and the smell about gag me . they wouldn't take back and other people hso as had same experience so tells me it's not the Meat Company it's the meat department at their store...? And to everyone out there ..it took me and hour just to right this feed back from my phone couse my so called family hack my phone

I was horrified to find out that in spite of the limitations on toilet paper and paper towels this store was still empty shelves and I had to buy a box of Kleenex to wipe my hind end with. Y'all need to order a lot more during this time of craziness!
