Went in right after opening and order a Dude Sandwich Combo, Requested the drink be substituted for a Strawberry Shake. Well, I can honestly say, I was not aware that strawberries had any form of chocolate. I am allergic to it and lets just say I didn't have a pleasant drive back home to Round Rock. I am under the impression, that the machine was not properly cleaned, or someone got there before me and ordered a shake/treat that included chocolate. Long story short, not sure I can trust this location or any for that matter.

I usually like DQ burgers and fries but here they both are not good! fries didn’t cook properly and they have limited menu compared to other locations!! Banana Split ice cream is great!

Terrible food, on top of getting order wrong.One little tiny onion slice per burger?No care at all from the “team lead”, Yulissa? We believe that’s her name as she wouldn’t give it to my husband when he asked for it and someone else told him. Trying to simply blame it on the cooks saying it wasn’t her fault. Remade the burgers, get back home, they’re made wrong AGAIN.

Ordered through drive thru. Quick and fast service. Food was fresh and hot! I didn’t even have to ask for salt n pepper, or ketchup. It was provided with my meal. Love it!

Stopped here on drive back home from San Antonio. Now when I say their desert was picture perfect I mean it was as if an artist took their time to create these desserts. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. I've never been to Nixon before, but it seems like a small town with great people. This will definitely be added as one of our stops on the way back home from San Antonio.

Ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard with no added chocolate syrup. This was confirmed verbally by the worker over the drive thru speaker. After I pay, I am handed an incorrect blizzard that contains chocolate syrup. No big deal... the big deal is the sass and eye roll from the employee at the window after I ask for my correct order. Upsetting.

Just before noon Sunday morning, one couple there eating, ordered a Dude sized chicken-fried chicken sandwich and a Dr. Pepper. The person taking my order looked at me (not at the cash register/order keypad) and made me feel like I was important, and like it was important she understood ME. Took it to go and both she and the cook thanked me on the way out. Sandwich was good, but the people made the rating a 5-star experience.

A quick stop for a lite lunch and ice cream of course! Gal at the counter was a bit snooty, just a bad moment I hope. (Who knows what was going on in her personal life, we all do have moments) didn't effect her service just her ability to smile. Prayed for her to have a better rest of her shift. Clean inside and out.

It is unfathomable to me how they justify the absence of a baby changing table. A kind employee told me the manager said, "we just haven't gotten around to it." Next time I'll change my child's diaper on one of your tables.Kid-friendliness: There isn't a changing table. I was told that other customers use a ledge near the back of the restaurant by a table which is frankly unacceptable. I don't appreciate changing my child in the car in a parking lot at night.

We never really had a bad meal here and the service was always good. It’s funny how good the burgers were on a Sunday night (when they were the only place open). They saved us a 40+ mile drive on more than one occasion.

Never experienced a better place. They went through so much to help my wife who's lactose intolerant. They made her a treat with a brownie and a dairy free dilly bar. It was awesome and the personnel were incredibly accommodating. The manager was the best. By far the best DQ I've EVER been to

Ha! Typical “Texas Stop Sign” when it comes to a Dairy Queen in the middle of nowhere.Obviously there was a line in the drive thru but I have to say the crew was fast and efficient.I always order the same thing, peanut butter banana shake and they made it perfectly. Large chunk of banana in it and could taste the peanut butter.Fries were fresh and hot.Good place to go when driving through.

Was not happy with the quality of food I got. I went through drive through and ordered food. I had to go park and wait for my food for about 5 minutes. I had no mayo on my burger... my onion rings were in the bottom of my bag that had black hair on them....again. This is the second time this has happened. Third time and I won't come back.

Only fast food place in town...only reason they have business. 9 out of 10 times I go there my simple order is wrong. Staff goofs off while you stand at the counter for 10 minutes then you wait 20min for your food to come out. Has happened multiple times being 1 of 3 people in the place. One time the fountain drink machine was out of nearly everything, informed the girl behind the counter and she rolled her eyes. I have never seen a manager there. Either the manager is hiding in the back or just never comes in and supervises. They apparently have a hard time hearing people in the drive through speaker as well. And speaking of the drive through, it's no faster than going inside.

I had a banana split. Most DQs skimp on toppings. This was the bomb with not too much, but definitely chocolate in every bite. Fruit was a good amount too. I've recently had banana splits that only had two scoops ice cream-for $4. This one had the 3 I grew up with. The service was nice too. They definitely want your business here.

I'll be brutally honest, the only reason we ate here is because it was the only place open. They still have mask wearing nonsense signs on the door, although only the employees were wearing them. It's not that the food is horrible it's just not that good. And for the price the competition makes better product. Since you're in Texas why don't you just remove the mask wearing nonsense once and for all?

I stopped by on a motorcycle adventure. I was promptly waited on, and the food was quickly delivered. No complaints on the quality, the onions were crisp, the patty juicy. They forgot my drink, so I had to go ask for it. They apologized. As I'm writing this review, I'm keeping an eye on a fly that had been particularly bothersome... All this is subject to change if they go the Remodel route so many others already have.
