I brought my adopted senior here. They were so caring from the first visit to the very last.I felt listened to and was never rushed during an appointment.He was always happy to go in and leave the room when necessary. He didn't exhibit any signs of distress while in their care.When it was time for the final goodbye I was truly moved by the compassion they showed.There was no judgement. They made our final visit a personal experience.He was pampered until the very end.If you're looking for a vet that cares and treats you and your pet as part of the family this is the place to go.

Today is Saturday May4thFlood waters have not receded.I phoned the Dr at 7:30 am my horse had swam out through 15'of water and was injured.Dr was out very quickly and administered meds and was able to get my baby back up.We are still flooded but my horses are betterThank you New Waverly veterinary

I am so grateful and happy for this Veterinarian team... Dr. Cronin and Dr. Danny took very good care of my baby boy. I was so worried yet they talk me through ever option available to get him taken care of. The entire staff got my spirits back up and made sure he was comfortable throughout his stay. This hospital stayed in touch with me with every update and has even been checking on him since he has been home. I can not ever express how much I appreciate the Doctor's for saving my cats life... This is the best vets office I have ever done business with. They are compassionate and understanding. Dr. Kim called me back in the middle of the night while I was at the ER with my dog and was very helpful. She also returned my call tonight which is Saturday. She helped alleviate some of my stress and worry for my little guy. I am hoping to get him through the Easter weekend to make it into the office first thing Monday morning. I have been using them for several years for my 2 dogs and 1 cat. I truly couldnt ask for s better medical practice for my fur babies.

I decided to try this vet out when moving to the area. I brought two dogs in and have done follow ups. I have been really pleased with the care and service that Dr. Cronin provides. His exams are incredibly thorough. Esther, the tech, is also incredible. She is knowledgeable and caring. I will always request to work with the two of them. I believe the front desk staff is an important part of the practice as it's the first face encountered. Kelly is 100% incredibly welcoming. She is an excellent receptionist at the clinic. Unfortunately, I found 2 of the other ladies at the front area very cold and not welcoming - they seemed so miserable. I will continue to use this vet because of the three names I listed. Overall very pleased.

There simply is not a better and more compassionate clinic anywhere. We have and continue to have our pets, 3 cats and 2 dogs, seen by them. Even our kids take their pets to them. They don’t perform unnecessary tasks and treat your pets as their own. Their advice is based on what they would do and recommend based on what you can afford too. I wish every clinic used them as a template because they are truly the gold standard.

I purchased an ex Amish Belgian horse from Maryland. Had it transported to Texas and Dr Steve was highly recommended by a friend. I called and made an appointment. Kelly was so helpful and sweet on the phone that it put me at ease. Dr Steve came out with his very helpful Technician and answered ALL my questions. He really communicated with me, gave me advice and helped me make choices that fit my budget.I was very nervous and prepared to give my right leg and arm for this visit, but pleasantly surprised by Dr Steve’s honesty and budget conscious advice. Thank you Dr Steve and staff for helping this nervous horse mom.

We have been using New Waverly hospital service for 6 years now. I absolutely love this place, all the doctors and the staff. Very caring, very thorough and professional. We moved a year ago and I really need to find a closer place to take my dogs to, but I am still so attached to this place, so I am procrastinating :)

We have been coming here for several years now and they have been a huge help with everything from basic checkups to end of life care for one of our pups .The lady’s at the front are always so sweet and helpful especially mindy who usually helps us.There is one young man I believe is a soon to be vet he is very informative and has helped us do the heavy lifting several times when it comes to our dogs. The environment is very friendly who ever helps you and treats your animals like family.

I am giving 2 stars STRICTLY because the vet techs are amazing and sweet and so helpful…. when you are able to see or talk with them. If it wasn’t for them I would be giving 1.I have been bringing my dog here since we brought her home at 8 weeks old. She’s almost 2 now. Since we have been coming here it has been nothing but chaos and issues. The receptionist, Nancy, is so rude every single time we go in. I’m a first time dog owner, so when Riley was just a puppy, I had a lot of questions and she made me feel stupid every time I talked to her. It started when my dog got spayed. It was a WHOLE situation. About a week after the surgery I noticed a seroma start forming on her belly. When I had brought her in, when it was still small, they told me not to worry about it and it would go away on its own. It got huge quickly, so I wanted them to see her again. They wanted me to bring her in and drop her off and they would see her when they could, but I didn’t want to leave her. I wanted to be with her and know what was going on. We saw a doctor again and we were told again not to worry about it. Come Easter morning the seroma was GIANT, red, and warm and she was very lethargic. I kept reassuring myself there was nothing to worry about even though I knew it wasn’t okay. She was in her kennel while we went to Easter at a family members house and when we came home the seroma had popped and stuff was just flowing out of it. We got ahold of the emergency number and the vets themselves told us to just bring her first thing in the morning. I brought her in and again they wanted me to just drop her off. I refused. We finally got antibiotics and about a week later she was okay, but if it would have been dealt with 3-4 weeks before when it had originally started we would have saved a lot of money and it was truly a traumatizing experience. A couple of months later she got an ear infection. They said it was pretty bad, and put some stuff in her ears that should make it go away in a week. A week later we went back to get them checked and the ear infection had gotten worse. How? I have no idea. We followed all of the precautions they gave to us. So, we paid more money for a different medication then would have to come back a week later to get them checked again. Finally it was gone. Come today, I notice my dogs eye is red and has some green eye boogers coming out. It is about 5:20 and with it being Friday I wanted to just call and make sure she would be okay over the weekend or if they wanted to give her any antibiotics or if I could do anything here at home. When I called, knowing they don’t close until 6, the lady told me that if I spoke with a vet tech or if they saw her they would charge me the emergency fee. I told them that I am not gonna pay the emergency fee considering they don’t close until 6. I hung up and thank goodness I have a friend that is a vet tech, so I messaged her and got advise on what to do. Sad that it comes to that when we have been coming here for almost 2 years now. This was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I have kept giving them chance after chance because I hear such great things and the vet techs are always sweet and amazing with my girl, but unfortunately after this incident we will be finding a new vet.

Absolutely best place I've ever visited. My daughter's service dog is more of a family member to us all. Our poor dog was in alot of pain and had labor breathing Christmas eve went to a emergency hospital in Conroe and spent so much time and money for barely a prescription or explanation. I was told about this place in New Waverly and went 4 days later. Not only are all the staff members kind and clearly love animals, they made sure to tell us every step and made sure we fully understood everything they were telling us. I literally never had staff and the vet herself show so much patience before. They treated us as people and our pet as a love one instead of a number on a paper to rush through. Very family oriented environment and best place ever for any of your four legged family members. I'm so happy I was told about them.

We just adopted an 18 week old goldendoodle, so we came to this vet for his first wellness exam. Our breeder had administered all vaccines herself, prior to our adopting Brody and provided me with dated records and packaging from all vaccines she used. It was important that the vet we choose would accept these vaccines without pushing me to do all his vaccines again. After reviewing what I brought in, Dr Kim let me know she was happy with what our pup had been given and, other than the rabies shot, she did not feel the need to repeat any vaccinations. It's a relief to find a vet that cares about the animal first, over making more money by over-vaccinating. Dr. Kim was very warm, professional, and answered all my questions. The entire office staff was friendly and never made me feel they were in a rush to get me in and out. The offices were nice and clean. And the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely recommend Veterinary Hospital of New Waverly to all of my friends!

Made a 3:15 farm call appointment on a Thursday. It was 4:00pm and I hadn't heard from the clinic or the vet about an estimated time of arrival or any update. Attempted calling the clinic and asked the receptionist if my appointment was still going to occur and she goes "yup." She didn't ask who I was or what time my appointment was supposed to be at, so I'm not sure why she said "yup" and hung up. 20 minutes later I get a text saying the vet has a family emergency and won't make it out. The pure lack of communication has frustrated me while I have a horse who desperately needs to see a vet. I had a good experience with this clinic in the past which is why I decided to use them again but after this experience I will not be giving them another call. Take your chances with this place if you'd like. it's hit or miss.

I am a groomer and I had been using another vet for a very long time. Always pushing things I didn't need on my dogs even when asked not to. I had a very good client move up north and she told me how much she loved this clinic. I know how much she cares for her dogs so I knew they had to be good. I have an issue going on with my Boxer and I decided to get a second opinion plus his vaccinations done. Due to the COVID19 going on I couldn't go in with him but they called me on the phone and went into great detail explaining everything going on and that we were on the same page concerning vaccinations and the food to be feeding him. while I waited in the parking lot. She wanted to know the details going back to an incident he had as a puppy and all his history up until now. I'm glad she wasn't just going to guess without doing some digging what's going on with him. We Have some issues that need to be fixed on my boy now but I'm confident he will be in good hands here. I live in Spring, but the peace of mind he's in good care is worth the drive for me. My client did not disappoint on the recommendation!

Dr Steve is AMAZING!! Very honest and answered my 836382 questions. He was quick when examining my horse BUT he was VERY thorough. He is Very personable! Doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. Truly wants the best for you and your horse (animals). The prices are affordable and you won’t have to donate a kidney to get your babies help. The staff is always super nice and helpful. I am picky when it comes to my animals and not once did I feel uncomfortable. I will be using new Waverly vet in the future.

First time visit today with my dog. The entire staff was friendly and the vet was very through with my dogs exam and diagnosis. She was very kind with him. He is blind and was a little nervous but he calmed right down after a few minutes. I'm confident my dog will be ok with his treatment. I also took a quick tour of the equine facility ( I have a horse as well ). First impression was I couldn't smell a thing. The barn is very clean and the inside stalls are huge. Outside stalls were also very clean and large. Briefly met Dr. Steve and he was very nice and informative about the equine services.I will definitely be bringing all my animals to them in the future.

They didn’t even know me or my precious dog but they worked me in, even though they were swamped with emergencies that day, they called to check on me while I was waiting to get in, I seriously was treated like family, like they had known us forever. I ended up having to make the toughest decision of my life but they were kind, caring, compassionate, and they went the extra mile to make it as peaceful as possible, for me and my baby. They are affordable and at this clinic they really care, it’s how vet care used to be. Dr. Kim, Alyssa and Megan thank you so much for everything.

My cat had a life threatening medical emergency during the 2021 winter storm and Dr. Steve and Dr. Kim met me after hours and took my cat in on short notice. They saved his life literally in the middle of power outages and icy winter conditions. Their staff take such good care of my dogs as well, and their prices are reasonable and the clinic is friendly and clean. Nice, professional, caring, and all around AMAZING place for your pets! Cannot say enough. They are awesome.

We recently noticed our 15 year old cat had what seemed like an abscess on his back paw...we were so concerned about it and we were so thankful that during this COVID19 pandemic Dr Kim was still seeing patients.What we were most impressed with was how organized and thoughtful they were about his appointment. We received detailed instructions to drive up and call them. Then they came to our vehicle and took him inside.....then they called to discuss a treatment plan.A few hours later when we were able to pick him up they brought him out to our vehicle. Buyer Beware-very expensive and vet is very rude. I was trying to work through a traumatic situation in my head-since I could not afford their prices-the vet informed me Megan likes to go home at night. I told her every one likes to go home when their shift is over-a better way to say that is-we don’t have night shift staff. Then she preceded to tell me-we don’t price match. I never asked them to-I was trying to deal with the news. THEN THEY WAITED 5 DAYS TO CALL AND ASK IF MY PUPPIES SURVIVED!!! That call would have been appropriate the next day since my dog was hemorrhaging. NEVERAGAIN.

I have 5 yr old and 8 yr old goldendoodles who have only seen Dr. Kim (and occasionally Dr. Steve) their whole lives. Through good nutrition advice, conservative allergy management and vaccination (my older dog has been having titers drawn instead of vaccinating him unnecessarily) and thorough yearly physicals they have kept our dogs healthy and happy. Dr. Kim is always knowledgeable regarding new dog health studies and research. The entire clinic staff, Melissa, Chelsea, Charissa, Bailey and everyone else are amazing! You can tell these folks love animals and their jobs!
