They are sooo nice and helpful! I went in trying to find dog food for a sensitive stomach and the associate helped me find exactly what I needed and talked me through getting my pups set up on the food. He also answered questions about grooming products and offered to help make sure I could find the food in the future (I'm moving). 10/10 Customer service, I will go back just for that!

Besides having a great selection of high-end pet food and products, and being clean & tidy, Tomlinson's is an active supporter of the New Braunfels Humane Society. The store keeps kittens from the shelter on site for adoption, providing supplies and labor to take care of the kittens until adopted. Tomlinson's also regularly donates food and supplies to the shelter.

This is a cute little pet store. I like their variety of dog treats/bones. At the time I was looking for a XXL kennel & their kennels were the cheapest I could find.

Great store. Always clean, well stocked and organized. Love their products—shows some thoughtfulness goes into the selections. I refuse to buy any dog products/food from China, and there is a reliable selection here from the US and Canada. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

We found a pup, and this place was open on a Sunday to get dog chipped and helped us find the owner. 3 staff members were on duty, and each one interacted with us in a friendly way. Don't have fur babies, but I'd come here for sure 😉

Someone needs to give Taylor a raise! She was so helpful helping me find what I needed. She let my kitten try on the harness to make sure it fit and also gave me recommendations for his wet food. I also almost messed up his name tag but she was so helpful and tried to fix it. She even said that she'd make me a new one if it didn't turn out good. But it did and I was very happy with everything. She communicated everything beautifully! Kudos 🎉

Love this place! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about what products they sell. They can help you find what you’re looking for and suggest foods depending on your pets needs. I have two cats (Bunny and Tuna), one of which is a senior (Bunny) and has a super sensitive stomach and can not stomach any dry food, byproducts, guar gum, chicken of any sort and most fish without throwing up. The wonderful people at Tomlinson’s suggest Rawz and after reading the ingredients on the Turkey and the Salmon we decided to try both. Both cats love it, it’s been almost 4 months now on only the Rawz canned diet and there has been NO puke! This is the longest Bunny has gone without throwing up and I have had her for 13 years. She is doing amazing and I’m so happy these amazing people at Tomlinson’s have helped us find this wonderful food.

It was my 1st time shopping in the store, which my boyfriend had recommended. I was very pleased to know that Tomlinson's carries the "Lotus" brand dog food. The sales assoc that helped me (wish I could remember her name) was extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely be shopping here every month for my fur baby.

I have been going to this store for a few weeks now. Staff is always friendly and eager to assist with anything you're looking for. The store is always well maintained and clean. Purchased dog food each time and never have to wait in line for a cashier. If you're looking for a alternative store for pet needs. I highly recommend you stop in and see for yourself. Oh my goodness this place was so fun! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the staff. We also got to say hi to Gamora, the sweet kitty who is available for adoption right now! Then the attendant showed me exactly where I needed to go and helped suggest similar products. She was awesome and friendly as well as super knowledgeable.

I discovered this place recently as I am new to the area. I am very pleased that I did. They’ve got tons of great super premium dog foods, and it gives me comfort knowing I am giving my pups the best. I also love that they are a local business, and they’ve managed to thrive in Central Texas for so many years. That means they must be doing it right. Finally, I love that I can place an order online and have it delivered for free. Seriously, what more could I ask for?

This store is great! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us find a better food product that was safe for our dog's allergies! We've been coming here for about 2 years now and always recommend it. They have good prices too with their cheap membership program. Definitely worth it!

I'm really not sure how they've stayed in business for so long with their Uber high prices. They do have friendly staff and the items are quality, but the markup is ridiculous. $24 to $60 for a dog sweater or jacket. $200+ for a cat tower. The same exact items are available on Amazon for a third of the price ... The bakery style dog treats are beautiful, but why would anyone waste so much money in these times when basic necessities are scarce?As a person who frequently shops at local shoppes when possible like the family owned "Discount Pets" run by the sweetest brothers (in Cape Coral, FL) ... I had anticipated a similar price set up ... They also have online ordering and gourmet "bakery-style" cookies which our Sir Tuckerman and all his canine friends and relations love. Their service is also personal and they remember both owners and pets and have a free members club for specials and rewards.So if Amazon or Chewy's (online delivery services) aren't your cup of tea ... Remember there are other options in the small, local, family category. In my personal experience and opinion (as this is a review by an actual person) Tomlinson's is over priced despite the family history of which they are so very proud.

First time going here. I received a 10.00 coupon from adopting a kitten and decided to use it. The people were so friendly and helpful. I had several questions due to my dog is having some medical problems. I am very happy and will be going back. They also donate food to the shelter. What a great shop.

The employees are always friendly! My Great Pyrenees loves them all and has to say hello to everyone when we go in. They are very knowledgeable about their products. They helped me find a puppy food for my underweight foster pup. They have some funky and fun treats that my dog loves to eat!

I like the convenience of the location, staff has always been friendly and helpful. When I had questions about what food to give my cat and kitten they were knowledgeable. We've been buying the same food for the last 3-4 years, my cats are happy with it and so are we and I appreciate the recommendation. I like they have other specialty items that you can't find at a regular grocery store. They have pet adoptions on occasion and help raise food for different shelters around the area with matching donations. As long as they continue to carry the food my cats eat I will continue to come back.
