A very kind Receptionist took my call early in the morning on Friday and told me to come in asap as the Dr. (Very kind, helpful and patient) had to leave soon to take care of his wife (Get well soon!)Helped My dog get his ear infection under control with medication and 2months flea medicine and 6months of heartworm pill, and his rabis shot. All for $128.So VERY Grateful! We Love Dr HigginsGo to him, he truly is an Amazing Doctor to animals. Hard to find in a small town!Thank you ❣️ will be back for all 'G' future care!

Dr. Higgins is the kindest, caring and affordable Vernon our area. I highly recommend. My pup got his leg broke, we took him to Dr. Higgins first but he was booked up for the day. We ended up at the most expensive vet in the area!! Westridge! They charged us $200 JUST FOR AN X-RAY AND OFFICE VISIT!! We couldn't afford a $2000 surgery, so they said it would be another $300 JUST FOR A CAST!! DR HIGGINS CHARGED ME $100 WHICH INCLUDED, CAST, MEDS, SHOTS AND WORMED!!IF YOU NEED A VET? GO TO DR. HIGGINS!! WE LOVE HIM 😍😍😍

I cannot say enough about Dr Higgins. He has taken care of my horses and dogs since 1998. I live in Conroe Tx now and I still bring my animals back to him and will as long as he is still practicing

One of the best in this area. He cares for the animals and there owners and will help you anyway he can and don't push products on you he tells you what is best and his prices are so reasonable and the staff are sweet and caring , the only place I will carry my pet too, they deserve more than 5 stars if I could would give 100 + stars.

I have used Dr. Higgins since the early1970's. He is awesome. I have known of him to sleep with a critical dog by his bed to make sure it lived through the night. He can't be beat.

If I could give 0 stars I would... Well I was a first time animal owner... I rescued a dog and a few days after he got sick... Was throwing up and having bloody stool... I took the puppy here they have him a shot of antibiotics and a pill for throwing up... Soon after we left the clinic he threw up the pill and it was foamy... I called back and the receptionist told me it was normal. Next day he wasn't any better but kept getting a busy signal when I called here so I decided to get a second opinion because he wasn't any better and something just didn't sit right with me... On the phone at the 2nd vets office of the back the receptionist said it sounds like parvo I made him an appointment for the next morning (which was the earliest they had) but sadly that night there dog passed on.. never never never never take your animals here... I don't see how he missed this !!! I had never heard of parvo but apparently it real common in puppies... He basically took my money and sent us home... Never again!!!

Is an awesome vet and he does not overcharge he knows what he is doing and he is good with dogs and he knows that treating dogs for heartworms there is multiple ways of handling that
