Closest store to me in New Boston. Lots of items. Store is busy. Prices are, well you pay for convenience. Delivery schedule varies or inventory is not correct as Items don't get restocked often enough, so be prepared for out of stock items. Open till 10pm. Sells.beer and wine. And fresh produce along with freezer sections for dairy, eggs, meat and frozen foods. Has a great $1 aisle with tons of products all for a dollar.Side note... I left my wallet in the cart in side the store and got home and couldn't find it. Went back to store and could see it still in the Cart through the glass, as store was closed. Called the number on the door for the posted Manager. She answered and was kind and helpful and said it would be put into the safe when they opened the store in the morning and I could pick it up whenever! VERY Thankful for the assistance and honorable staff!

Stopped in to load money onto a car,lady was to busy talking to others,I tried to explain how much money I needed on the card,came back in because what I asked for was different than I told her,so an older looking manager there I was telling her what was going on what I needed she proceeds to get an attitude,sadly she was gossiping with another lady I guess about some issues so she had a tude when she came to the register,I tried to be decent but I had to get an Attitude as well,then she procerds to tell me not to come back in that cluttered store again,that is the only dollar general ive been where people are so wack,I'm guessing they bring there problems from home to the store,,she's right I don't have to stop again,I hope she was able to get her a cigarette

Like this store for quick shopping for small items. Larger selection of products. Frozen foods. Plenty of parking. Very nice staff.

I'm pretty sure everyone in our small town loves our Dollar General but no one wants to shop in a store that looks like this. No organization, stepping over merchandise . I know it has to be a District manager or someone that check on this store if not please do so soon. I love my small town and my Dollar General. Please help here. Thank you.

The Blonde lady that works there was very rude. Made a comment about how you don’t hula hoop in a store when I was trying to entertain my son and help him have fun. He is 4 mind you. If you don’t like something a parent is doing with their child that is fun keep your comments and facial expressions to yourself. Please and thank you.

They “updated” the store with new higher prices and a self check out that doesn’t take cash. They will always have just one person working the entire store (as a cashier and everything else) a manager might be around. The one person who is there will not be properly trained therefore making the whole experience very awful.

Great for a quick shop but if you're in a rush and there's a line, don't expect them to open another register to get customers out quickly. I've only seen one manager who really works hard constantly and who ALWAYS jumps on a register to help get customers out and back on-schedule, but not sure if she's still at this location.

I dont know the young ladies name thats working today. But she's always polite,professional and personable. I just saw her go out of her way to seperate a couple shopping carts for her customers. And even took one 3 isles over for an elderly lady. This girls always at work. Someone give her a raise...

If i could give this place zero stars i would. The place was trashed and boxes and carts full of merchandise everywhere. Im in a wheelchair and I couldn't get around at all. grabbed a couple of things and left. Cashier didnt say anything like hello , find everything okay. Will never go back.

The hands down worse dollar general store ever. The managers are the most unprofessional and lazy people and the store looks trashed. The lines stay backed up because the employees are rude and act like they dont wanna be there( they see the managers act lazy so they do it). It's horrible and i honestly cant believe dollar general has let them ruin this location. The entire staff should be fired and replaced.

Welcomed me when I stepped in to the store. Several different workers asked me if I needed help finding everything I needed. Shelves are well stocked. Store was clean and neat. Will go back for sure.

The staff is friendly and the store was clean and well stocked. The reason I knocked off two stars? I bought a bottle of tea only to discover it had expired almost a year ago. A YEAR ago. That's crazy!

The Dollar General in DeKalb,Texas gets a 5 Star rating . great customer service and always a neat clean store. The one in New Boston, TX. Was not orderly. Too many empty shelves and customer service not friendly at register.

It's fine for some people if you want a cheap place to go and somewhat poor service if you go don't bring kids cause the workers say things not all of them the people that did it I don't think work there but just watch your kids.

Dirty. Box's everywhere can't get around in a wheelchair if needed. Best manager ever was Stephanie Terral.Made sure store was always in order.You lost a good manager.

Like more and more DGs these days. Merch on floors and stock holders always near the back endcaps, can hardly get cart around. I'm sure a wheelchair wouldn't be able to.

One star because I couldn't choose zero.store was an always a mess,, merchandise in wrong place everywhere,no Dr Pepper,casheir had to get it from the stock room,very slow moving line with one cashier.. it's Dollar General.
