New to the area and I am not impressed. I’ve lived a lot of places and have frequented similar grocery stores so I expect higher prices than at Walmart but here there is really a significant differential. Market Street is a comparable store but they have a much better selection and they bring your groceries out to your car so for paying a little higher price you’re at least getting more for what you’re paying. So as far as I can tell there’s no benefit to coming here.The pharmacy advertises that it’s a Walgreens pharmacy but nothing is integrated. Even the employees told me it says Walgreens but they just run off Brookshire’s old system. So I am not sure why it says Walgreens.The final and most significant reason for my low rating is the customer service. A couple weeks ago I needed to refill my 5 gallon water jugs. The Primo station at Dollar General was out and it was at Brookshire’s too. It was pulled out of the wall like it was being world on. So I went home and was going to just get it the next day. Next day arrived and I decided to call first to see if it was working. I called Brookshire’s and the first person said I am sure let me transfer you. So they did and the next employee said the same thing. So I had to drive over there to check that yes it was still broken. Dollar Generals was as well so I went to Walmart. The guy that stocks was rolling a cart in the back and he even stopped and made sure I knew how to use it and loaded my jug in my cart.I usually hate going in Walmart but the Walmart here has the absolute nicest and most helpful staff of any Walmart and really most grocery stores I’ve been to. Every time I have been in there someone has offered to help me even without me asking. I just see no reason to spend extra money at this business when I can go to a Walmart of all places and have the best experience. There’s just no reason for me to ever come to Brookshire’s. There’s not one single reason that makes it a better option than Walmart here.

Ordered a cupcake cake for my son birthday last minute due to being a divorce parent and I didn't plan ahead on my weekend to get kids. The cake was well beyond my thoughts! Cheers to the bakery department!

Frequently grab lunch from the deli. Friendly and helpful employees. Quick and inexpensive meals. Pittsburgh hot links or fried catfish. Always good.

Always friendly and willing to help. I like that they help you to your car with the groceries. It is something that the grocery stores used to do, but most do not anymore.

Great 😃 place to shop for all your groceries. All the staff are absolutely great, always helpful. Still help carry your groceries to your vehicle. I highly recommend them, you will be happy.

This is one of the cleanest and friendliest grocery stores you will find. Aisles always clean, shelves stocked with a great selection of merchandise and the employees are all friendly and helpful. Baggers take your groceries to your car and load them for you. Use you Brookshires loyalty card for good savings!

I love shopping here. I always find what I need and they always have great weekly deals. The staff is friendly and professional. The deli has amazing selections of cold cut meats and cheeses. The deli hot lunch counter is also on point and reasonably priced.

The staff at Brookshire is very friendly and very helpful. I was exchanging my Primo water bottles and didn’t quite know exactly what to do. One of the cashiers took time away from the register just to point me out and what to do very grateful for awesome Customer Service it makes a difference thank you Brooke for always being there and always being very professional May. One of the manger was so helpful. I couldn't reach an item and he got down and got it for me. Then I needed nine 24 count of water and he got a buggy and loaded up for me and brought to the front for me to purchase. They give superior service every time!!

Smaller than a usual Brookshires. But stocked, clean, fresh. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Be sure to check weekly sale Ad, and buy items advertised otherwise regular prices are usually high. And most everything is higher here in a small town- New Boston - compared to bigger cities.

I have been a patron of Brookshires since they were at their old location. Love this place for shopping. The store is always clean and well stocked. They are rarely out of things and if they are they are good about rain checks. Their deli is great. You should try their fried chicken. Overall a great establishment that you can tell is family oriented.

Be sure to check expiration dates. Before I began checking every single item I buy, I would get items regularly that were expired or about to expire within 24-48hrs. In the past week alone, I’ve had one trip where I’ve been in a rush and grabbed Nutella snacks that expired in May 2022. Unfortunately my kiddos threw them away without realizing I needed them. I also sent my oldest in for yogurt about 3 days ago only to pull one out of the fridge yesterday and find it was expired. These days I only go to Brookshire’s for small grocery runs bc it’s too time consuming to shop there with a large list.

Do not like self check out. Thought I would go through it because I only had a few items. Well it would not accept debit card had to redo it 3 times for it to accept it after waiting like 6 minutes all the girl could say you'll just have to wait. While we were waiting people that had a basket full or half got done and was gone by the time we were done. They used counters with employees. I will never use your self serve again.

The Daingerfield store's staff has always been greeting me with smiles since I moved to the area in Sept 2019. Even though I was warned of rudeness there, I've never dealt with anyone like that. Need help, just ask & they'll help or get you someone who can. Keep it up!
