Nice folks for the most part. Their fish always look sick but the snakes and mice look healthy from when I can tell. They got good pieces of driftwood mounted on slates that I really like. The one in my tank was about $14. You can see the progression of the plants. I made it into a kind of Pride Rock formation! ☺️✨

We bought a Bichor for $25..it's a really cool fish, and he eats small earthworms from our backyard....and I bought a blue/silver Angel fish for $10...not a very sociable fish yet, hoping it will hang out with my other 2 Angels eventually.

10 out of 5 stars. They are amazing people and have given discounts . The female ball python prolapsed and we brought it in and they are nursing her to health for us to pick her back up and even gave us one to keep for the time being.

I just cant say enough good things about this shop. Absolutely the most knowledgable place around about snakes I have found. We took our 8 year old in to learn about snakes before getting deciding whether it would be the right pet for him. They were so awesome and spent well over an hour talking with us and him and having him hold various snakes and teaching him so much. This will always be my go to pet shop. Amazing people and honestly very great prices.

My favorite place for my pets needs and buy more "exotics" they take great care of the animals. They are always healthy. The safe is amazing and very knowledgeable on all the animals. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Here's a picture of our newest addition

Fantastic shop. The owner is absolutely amazing and is extremely involved with his employees and with his customers. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and will take the time to ensure that you are happy with any animal that you purchase from them. The staff was super friendly. They've got rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, fish, and I'm sure more animals in their small shop. He "made" me hold his snake. (He didn't force me lol he encouraged me and I finally agreed.) This was a great place.

I always shop local when I can. The staff at Pet Den are a prime example of why you should do that. They are full of knowledge that you can't find at large chain pet stores. Their selection of reptiles is huge. Their animals are all healthy. Their staff is friendly.

- Overly expensive - Bad Quality - Staff Not Good -I've come in there multiple times to see if it gets better and I try to support locally owned businesses. Sadly everytime it's the same.I come in and feel dirty from the clustered mess of the front counter with everything piled on top of everything. The fish they keep are sick and most tanks overcome with algae. As someone who worked in a fish only store and had over 500 tanks and a staff of 4 people. We had cleaned every tank on a organized schedule that kept the fish healthy and every tank in a great condition. Most of their reptiles are in too small of a container ( not even mentioning their breeding ones) the show snakes for sale often have bent scales that are permanent and will take months to grow out. Their snakes are also among the many things that are overpriced compared to even other local snake sellers. Often being 30% higher then their immediate competition.Speaking of over priced I've found a majority of their retail items are very overpriced to sometimes 2X the average retail price. I understand a little more of a markup but not 2X the amount... I also have to wait even when not busy for a staff member to help me after asking for help. I'm very sad to give this review as I love locally owned family operated businesses but when it comes to this many thing wrong I have to bring this to others attention.

If I could, I'd give them more stars. This place is incredible. We met with the breeder and shop owner at one of the Reptile Shows and realized quick how intelligent and friendly everyone was. We ended up driving a few hours out to their shop the very next weekend. The animals are all well taken care of and handled enough to be comfortable with interaction but not over the top to where they're stressed. Everything was clean and organized, and the variety was amazing. From dogs to cats, birds to reptiles, you'll find anything you need. Also, the breeder has an astounding variety, knowledge and enthusiasm for his pets. Love this place and can't wait to go back!

I've only been in a few times but I can already tell this is going to become my go-to store. The ladies there are so friendly, like I've been a long time customer for years. They educated me on cycling my fish tank, which one of the big box pets stores did not do, resulting in 13 dead fish in less than 20 hours of placing them in the tank that had only been set up and treated for 24 hours. They also tested my tank water for free. Once the tank has cycled, I look forward to getting fish from them.

Truly a gem. Down to earth knowledgeable staff are both friendly and approachable. This mom and pop shop manages to impress with lower prices and larger selections than their big box competitors. If you are unable to find what you need they are quick to offer special ordering at no additional charge.
