Timely appointment. Had my dogs teeth cleaned, with 2 extractions. I can tell he feels better. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Costs are very reasonable.I will be using South Central for all my veterinary needs.

We’ve used the vet services and boarding. It was a totally GREAT experience every time. The staff is wonderful. Both vets take the time they need to help with all your pet needs. A Friend recommended Dr. Walla and SCVS to help our 3-year old schnoodle, who appeared to be suffering from a back or nerve issue since he was about a year old. After an extensive exam and xrays, Dr. Walla and Dr. Sodec proposed a medicinal program to address his issue. A week later, we are already seeing an improvement in his condition, finally. I highly recommend Drs. Walla and Sodec and their staff. They care.

Kessa was just one of 7 puppies in this litter that we rescued from a bad home environment. The veterinarians and staff at South Central Vet Clinic always provide Excellent Service! They are very knowledgeable, professional, kind, caring, patient, friendly, responsive and thorough. As a foster parent with rescue pups, we are in their office almost every week, and they never disappoint. They offer great quality service at affordable prices. And we never wait long to obtain an Appt or receive service. It is obvious these veterinarians and staff are in this business because they love animals and respect their owners. We highly recommend them!

I just want to say how amazing everyone was! They kept me up to date on my girl’s surgery and recovery. Tanya and Kristina was so helpful and made me feel like she was in the best care and at the right place. I feel so lucky to have found them and we traveled over an hour just to go there. amazing my rescue did great with this wonderful team of animal lovers. They helped my baby who is finicky and older and finds it hard to trust humans but he did amazing with these drs. also found that they were more affordable and the customer service was amazing and the facility was beautiful and clean . If I could leave a zero I would- the 2 awful and lazy women at front desk have zero personality and act like they’re doing you a favor to wait on you. Both were rude the 2 times I had the misfortune of having to deal with them, appointment cancelled and never going back & would never recommend them. Horrible experience is an understatement !

Ready to give 5 star until...I was ready to give top stars until vet denied online refill.....Female feline of middle age given physical workup due to UTI from travel stress April'23 and good marks physical '24 denied Clovamax UTI....Now must find better vet.

South Central Veterinary Service is a great place to take your pets for care. Dr. Walla is kind and compassionate. He helped us manage the end of our dog’s life with great care and empathy. I took three kittens and two dogs there this week for annual visits and the staff was very helpful and Dr. Walla was efficient, but he took time to talk and explain the needs and options available for my pets. Dr. Walla also does a great deal of work supporting the City of Navasota.

We weren’t expecting to have our dogs teeth pulled when she went in for a cleaning, and it was a little emotional as our little girl is aging and coming to terms with things like losing teeth as she gets older but she came home from post-op so spritely and begging for treats like her usual self, you can’t tell at all that she had 4 teeth removed and she’s been great ever since. Thank you so much for the care you showed her! We drive an hour away for the bigger services like this because south central is affordable and gives us the best care!

I have had my Izzy at South Central Veterinary 2 different times for TPLO surgery and a third time to have Izzy’s hardware from surgery removed. I know when I leave my girl behind me that she is in the very best place for care that she can be. The staff and Doctors are phenomenal. Always answer your questions and concerns and are patient and kind. If your pet needs surgery, look no further. I HIGHLY recommend South Central Veterinary.

We were referred to South Central and they are the best hands down! My English bulldog was literally dying and no one in the Houston area would even do an X-Ray on him! We were referred to South Central and the nice ladies at the desk picked up, they told us to bring him in ASAP and made us feel hopeful again that our boy will survive.My husband and I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Walla and Dr. Sodek when we got there. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and definitely impressed us.Dr. Sodek suggested different options and was kind, compassionate and not at all pushy. We chose surgery and when he gave me the price for the treatments including hospitalization - and it was very affordable! Long story short, Dr. Sodek and his wonderful team is the reason my boy is still alive and recovering. Not to mention the daily calls I get to update on my his condition. He is now back at home happily recovering.

Yesterday was our first time visiting here, our primary vet was not available, and they suggested Dr. Walla. Our Molly girl was very sick and I called and they were able to see her. Unfortunately, the outcome was not a happy one, we had to put her to sleep. Everyone from the front desk, to the tech to Dr Walla were amazing explaining everything and helped me make the hard decision. They were gentle and caring to her and they really cared. We could not have asked for a better environment for her to go peacefully. Thank you all. 💙🐾

It was a great experience, people were nice and place was exceptionally clean. We’ll difficultly be coming back for our pets needs. The Doctor came out to visit and explain Buddy’s condition, which was great to be able to talk directly to the Doctor. Funny, I’ve already told family and friends about how great this place is. These people went above and beyond! Temporarily between jobs, I got a small grant to help out with fleas, shots, and an aging dog prognosis. It was not easy for me to ask for that help, but pups before pride. S Central's staff not only did everything they could to squeeze all the care they possibly do within that limit, they never treated me badly for being broke--something that has happened to me in other places. I can't thank you enough South Central. You're the best!
