Today my Archie got fully groomed and I couldn’t be more pleased with how he turned out and their staff at The Grooming Place!He was matted and all the other groomers wanted to shave him down, and when they let me know they were willing to take the time and work on his coat- I was more than thrilled!! He looks amazing!!! Archie is a wheaten terrier and I am so thankful for this place and will be a regular for sure!Even after all his work today he came home happy!!

Great staff and prices. My pup always seem to enjoy his time there. Make sure you call for a reservation prior to walking in. Additionally, make sure you are specific to the type of cut you want for your pup. They can do ALL styles and cuts.

The team at Grooming Place is absolutely awesome and the services are reasonably priced. My pupper got a bath and nail trim - the tech that did her nails was fast and careful, really impressive. We are now regular clients.

I brought in a rescue dog (Great Pyrenees) he was from a very close family member and unfortunately his fur was in rough shape. I came in with an open mind that he might possibly need to be shaved down and I was okay if that was what needed to be done. Upon pickup I almost didn’t recognize him (not in a bad way). He was so white and the most touching thing was that I could see happiness in his eyes again. He galloped like a horse full of excitement and my heart literally bursted with happiness for him!I’d like to add that I know it’s easy to get lost in all the cute cuts we can find on the internet and it’s perfectly okay to desire for our fur babies to look the same way. If I could share any insight I’d say be kind to your groomer and give them grace. If they are unable to give your baby that particular cut the first time around understand it was very likely that they did what was best for your baby. Continue working with them and give them the appropriate time to work towards those wants.Thank you all so much for everything! I look forward to bringing my new baby in for many more grooms.

Recently returned for small dog grooming after a break. Very pleased with changes made by the new management. New owners are wonderful and have provided a new atmosphere in the facility along with providing a great grooming experience.

AWFUL!!! When I first walked in the woman at the front desk was immediately rude and very short. I dropped them off at 7:30am and didn’t get them until 2 pm. Then when they were picked up they did not say anything about the cuts on both of my dogs. One which is gushing blood. I then called to ask them about the issue and they became very defensive. They not once said I’m sorry they were blaming issues on things like “she wasn’t bleeding when she was here” and “it’s not a gash it’s just a red mark” the manager proceeded to then say “f**k you” and hang up. When I called back the groomer that was responsible for the cuts never once said sorry and was very rude and said “since it doesn’t sound like you’re coming back i’m not wasting my time arguing” and then hung up all of this for an overpriced groom. The people are rude and do not care about the dogs.

I called around on a Saturday to several spots try to get our precious pooch in to be groomed up with full service. Despite being last minute, if you will, they had no problem getting her in and making her look beautiful when it was all said and done! Great work, great value, and I was very appreciative. Definitely going back with not only our mini Aussie but our American Stafford as well!

They have been grooming my dogs for quite a while now, and they always do a great job! I love that I can call with short notice and they can fit us in! My dogs love coming to get bathed here and they always smell sooo good for weeks after they leave here.

Robyn and her staff were absolutely amazing with my pup Fefe. It was her first groom and they extra loving even when she nervously piddled! Very clean, and welcoming environment. I will be back again ... Such a great value too!

I have used this place for years, due to covid I have been grooming my dogs myself. I decided to start supporting more small business in my community so I decided to make an appointment and take my dogs to get cut.I saw the sign they have behind counter regarding people wearing masks unless they can maintain a 6’ distant, the shop has it posted on the outside door that they do not require / wear masks as they “do not drink the Kool-Aid”. My dogs have fur as most do and any “spittal or sneeze” will stick to their fur and bring it home. I feel that they have a right to their political opinions, however since they are a business within our community they should show respect and wear masks around our animals as not to spread this virus on the fur of our animals, bringing it home to their families. For these reasons I will not be doing business with this establishment going forward.

In the current economic climate, I thought I would support small businesses - terrible mistake. My dog received the worse haircut ever and no apologies or forewarning from the groomer!My dog had some mats in the legs but nothing to the extent of a full shave! I have owned dogs for several years and can tell when a groomer is too, too LAZY to brush out mats! This cut was pure laziness at a price of $86.00 for a full shave because that’s exactly what my dog received!Never supporting this business again!Should have realized the type of service I would receive when they did not request shot records!

I used the Grooming place on several occasions. I was beginning to think they knew me and were glad to have my business. Evidently I was wrong. A couple of weeks ago I missed a scheduled appointment I had made, due to circumstances out of my control. When I called back to reschedule the appointment I was told they could not take my dog for grooming because I missed an appointment and cost them money. What’s that all about? I could see maybe if it happened often, but for them to deny service after one missed visit seems very wrong to me. I would not recommend using this business. They probably don’t want your business anyway.

Wow!! To see these reviews are just disappointing!! We as Americans have to stop this “cancel culture” to try and ruin others!! Our government is doing a good enough job without us setting out to destroy others!My dogs absolutely love it here!!! And let’s be real and have a heart, if you choose not to go here because of a mask issue , then don’t go but STOP trying to destroy others!! God is watching and the evil in these reviews is real!! Stopped going here after years due to their sign, and lack of other people's health. They do not care about Covid, they are entitled to their opinion. However I want my kids safe and them breathing all over myself and dogs can make that not so. I switched to Blissful Bark. Amazing owner who wears masks, and curbside dropoffs.

The groomer we normally use just left and our dog is desperately in need of being groomed. As shaggy as she is, we wouldn’t take her to this place if it was the last groomer within 100 miles. If they don’t care about the health of people, they sure as hell don’t care about my dog.

I have a very anxious dog and went through many groomers who refused to even groom him. The Grooming Place took him right in and had no problem grooming him. They are patient and kind with him. They always do a wonderful job!

A Happy Dog Indeed! Our guy, Sully, went in a mess of dreds and wavy curls, and came out a beautifully, smoothly handsome shaved gentleman! They did an amazing job, the place was quiet and calm, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely make this our grooming spot for all of hair cuts going forward.

My dog doesn't worry about a mask :) He would be more worried about the tech passing out. There is a LOT of distance between the humans in the place . Great customer service, great work and tired of people who haven't even been to the place bullying business with bad reviews based on conjecture.

I thought I already wrote a review. We usually just washed our pug in the bath tub like normal people, but we got tired of cleaning up all the hair. So now we take Piggers to the Grooming Place. He loves it! He has never smelled good when we have washed him at home, he usually smelled like nothing. When he goes here though he ends up smelling like vanilla, I don't know how they do it!! He loves going and he never liked going to the vet. At the vet his tail would go down and he would cling for dear life. At the Grooming Place he is excited and happy.:) They also help with his dandruff and his ears, which for pugs are a difficult thing. They even give him a cute bandana when he leaves. He loves being pampered.

Horrible. We normally bathe our lab and beagle ourselves once very 1-2 weeks, but due to cold weather we decided to take them here. They kept our dogs (for a wash only - no cutting) for over 5 hrs. Then after 2-3 days we noticed a horrid smell. Our dogs have NEVER smelled this bad! I don't know what products they use, but it made our dogs stink. After a couple more days of the horrible smell and only 1 week after taking them here, we were forced to take them to another pet wash to get rid of the smell. Will NOT come here again.

Loved this place with the original owners, still kept going because truly my dogs always came out great even when their prices went up a bit. However when someone starts being rude with me as I’m dropping off my pups, yeah they would not be staying . Such a shame.

Do not bring your dogs here. This is just a money grab. They will take as many dogs as they can in a day just to get the money but do a terrible job cutting hair. Too lazy to brush out a few mats in my dog's hair. They would rather just shear your dog down to the skin. I will I will never bring my dogs here again

The staff are always nice and welcoming, and our little poodle mix always gets a nice cut. They are open very convenient hours, I stop by on Sat morinings @ 7:30.
