This cute little cafe is on the main street through town, which is how we came to see it. Today we finally decided to give it a try. The pancakes were fluffy and hot and the hash browns were absolutely delicious! Would have preferred soft scrambled eggs, but they were still good...cooked done without being brown...yay!! The folks here are welcoming and friendly. We are glad we stopped in.

The food that we ate was good, but the fact that French fries did not accompany the party melt sandwich was displeasing. I ordered the fajita plate; and the only disappointments there were the Lima beans in the rice, the limited number of tortillas and the finite portion of salsa. The plate size was generous with respect to chicken, and I enjoyed another full meal from the residual.

I paid 29.82 cents for stuff worth about 12$ max . I got a weird wheat biscuit that fell apart with no taste or texture ,on a biscuit sandwich which was nasty along with the meat in it.i also ordered the biscuits and gravy and was hoping it was gonna be authentic and decent atleast that was my only hope . Well that was nasty as well worst biscuits ever with watered down gravy that has zero flavor . I was overcharged. My point is they need to put better effort in finding cooks who cares somehow this is crazy.

We got to go breakfast this morning and it was incredible!!! My baby got a pancake, I got biscuits & gravy, and my man got French toast. Absolutely amazing 10/10!! 🤩🤩

Stopped in on our drive from Santa Fe, NM to Galveston, TX. Had a wonderful lunch, I had a BLT. Perfect bacon/lettuce/tomato ratio for me, wife loved the taco plate!! But most important was the staff and the customers were all smiley. What a nice comfortable place for lunch!! We will return!

Great food, prices, and service. Simple diner food done well. It has a old school American feel. I had a chorizo, egg and cheese biscuit with home fries. This place feels like your favorite down home place.

We were looking for breakfast on our way to Mother Neff State Park. We stopped at Lucys Cafe. We definitely picked the right place! I ordered a western omelet. It was huge, came with hash browns and toast. My husband had sausage, gravy and biscuits and the biscuits were the size of bagels. Attentive service once seated. We will definitely be back.

To expensive. Got 5eggs, 5bacon, 1hashbrown, 2pc. toast, 1biscuit and 2drinks. $20.00 well $19.68. Food was alright. It was my first time eating there. I will give it a try one more time. If too costly that will be the last. Plenty of seating and walking space. Clean facility. Employees seem pretty nice.

We had the Friday fish special which was delicious and very filling. It's a little pricey for a small- town diner.Kid-friendliness: Casual place and small town atmosphere- I think kids would be welcome though there weren't any there when I went.

Decided to stop at Lucy’s Cafe in Moody, TX because it looked so clean, neat & inviting from the outside. The inside matched our initial impressions. Wife & I both had western omelets with hash browns toast & jelly. Omelets were perfect, toast tasted like it was oven toasted & hash browns were tasty. Got to meet the new owners & their two children . They had purchased the restaurant from the husbands parents and had been operating it for only a month. Both husband and wife grew up in the local area but had to relocate from Abilene to operate the business. Hope they can at least match the parents record of operating the restaurant for 30 years. Do stop by when you’re near Moody.
