I live elsewhere but stopped there today and I totally forgot to inform the manager about this grocery store. This location is FANTASTIC! This location had all that one would need. The shelves were straight and fronted! The store was clean and all employees super nice. Thank you for this unexpected highlight of my day!

It's very convenient to have, you don't have to go all the way to Temple our Waco just to pick up a few things. It's been around for a long time. Before it was Brookshires, it was David's.

I am 72 years old and an amputee. I have to say that I am very impressed with this store. I enjoy shopping here and have to say that the young people working here are a joy to know. The young people always help me out and automatically know exactly where to take my groceries to in my truck. The young people are always so polite and a joy to be around. The only thing I wish this store would do is put automatic doors in the store like in McGregor. It would make it a lot easier for those of us that are disabled to get into the store. The store is so clean and well stocked. If I owned a business I would of hired everyone of the staff. They are a big asset to Brookshire Brothers.

I just moved to Texas a few months ago and have noticed there is always such a bad crowd at H‑E‑B. So me and my husband decided to try Brookshire brothers in hopes for a better experience. The store itself was small and had a limited variety of foods. So, there was no way I could get all my groceries there. When I got home, I was cooking and noticed the texture of the cool whip I had bought was not right. I checked the date and it expired 02/2019. Both containers of cool whip in fact expired in 2019. Also, the ham I purchased was expired and part of it was completely white. Honestly this turned my stomach and I never care to shop at this store again. My advice to future shoppers is to check the dates on everything before leaving the store. Don’t be like me and waste $75 on food that I ended up throwing away.

Overall the store needs a new store director. He doesn't care about his customers or his employees. The office manager needs more training on how to interact with customers and employees. Besides those two negatives it is a good small town store.

This store had the basics. Went on a Saturday and produce was very sad. It was close to Mother Neff. Frozen food, dairy and shelf items were just fine. I just don't think they have the turnover to carry produce.

Was in your store in Moody today at 2:10pm. The store was neat, orderly, and clean. When checking out there was 1 cashier and 5 customers in line. Three employees were behind the office counter talking. I asked the cashier if there was another cashier and she said he just left. The lady she was checking out at the time spoke up and told the girls in the office that it looked bad that we were all waiting to get checked out and they were cheating it up in the office. The blond hollers back that they weren't just talking that she was training. Guess she wasn't training on customer service! If so, she and all other employees there REALLY suck at it! Not sure I will ever step foot in that place again. Rating should be less than a star but had to put 1 so I could post this.

Small Town groceries on the way home, decent selection. Instead going another 20 miles into Belton for a few items. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Expensive. Not a lot of variety, especially in produce. Would not honor some of my WIC items as eligible purchases. Staff is nice and helpful. Closes early at 8pm.
