We have 6 Dollar General's within 10 miles. We choose to go to Dollar General, Dobbin area on 105.Why? Because we get a cashier! They are usually quite friendly and check you out quickly rather than go to others with a line of people TRYING to use the self check out. We have walked out of other stores as the line at self check out long and no cashier available. This store is clean and well stocked.

Everytime I go to this location, it's a Hazzard. Stock at night! Anybody can come in there and trip or fall. It's always fluttery through the isles!! Horrible location. Whoever owns it need to change managers. They aren't good housekeepers. Make have to go without if I have to go in there. Messy messy messy!

Good store! Idk his name but one Gentleman associate there gives excellent customer service if you happen to go to the register to check out.

Well this was a signature store for a long time and like anything new the new has worn off and the service has gone down hill. This store had the best service of any DG I have ever been to and now you have to scan your own items because the staff has to do other things in the store and do not have time for the customer. Not sure what is going on here but might have to start driving all the way to Kroger again to have some interaction with a person. Hope they can turn this back to the store it started as.

negative 5 stars. I am a regular patron of this store. I have come in morning, noon and night. The "acting" manager in evening is a sad excuse of a employee. I have personally seen said employee get up out of her chair and holler out to a second employee that is working to come to the front to check me out. And the super employee found her chair and continued to hold it down. WOW! Cant wait to see what else this store has to offer. Good job management for hiring such awesome people to represent the Dollar General Store. Negative 5 stars. I learned today that the person acting like a manager. Was the assistant manager. Keep up the good work there management. Hire some more winners.

Closest store for the simple necessities. I discovered that they even stock Birdseye frozen veggies. They only thing that they should add is Bluebell!

If you are looking to save money they have a lot of can goods at great prices chips two for 6.00 actually they have a huge selection of groceries at great prices

You know what, I haven't been here, but I'm going to leave a review so hopefully people will see this and understand things. I used to work at a Dollar General, in Conroe in fact.Keep in mind that the people here are getting paid pretty much nothing, with little to no benefits, to do the job of several people at once. When I was working for them, I was the cashier, greeter, stocker for the front half of the store, and pretty much responsible for any customer complaints or issues that didn't need the manager. Yeah stocking stuff is everywhere, because we have to finish as fast as possible and have to do many things at once. It takes the entire day just to DO anything cause you're getting pulled in many directions at once.I'm not excusing all Dollar Generals, I know there's bad ones out there, but I just want you to realize that working conditions in Dollar General are NOT good, so keep in mind that the people working there have to deal with a lot every day they work.
