I have NEVER had such a HATEFUL experience with another human being as I did with the lady with the red hair at the counter at this shelter this morning. I brought in a puppy that was in the road this morning on my way to work. After she ARGUED with me for several minutes about not being able to take him and telling me I had to take him to a different shelter or "bring him back to where I found him", she began to become angry and AGGRESIVLY YANKED the puppy from my arms, I say this with NO exaggeration, she YANKED him from me. There was absolutely no reason in this world for her to react the way that she did to me nor the puppy. I was just trying to avoid him being killed on the road and I was met with anger and aggressiveness. I really hope that she doesn't treat the animals the way she did me. Absolutely horrible.

i live in the city of mont belvieu and called to see if i could bring two kittens and got rudely hung up on by some lady that obviously had zero time or patience to be on the phone. she didn’t want to help me with my problem of finding which shelter to take them to either, but when i went to the baytown shelter they gladly gave me different shelter phone numbers and actually helped me out. 0/10.

Wouldn't take two lab pups I found 4 minutes from the shelter because they were barely out of there area limit. Shows how much they care.
