Thank you for helping us save the chiweenie puppy someone dumpedearly morning next to my AC unit in March. He is doing so much better and did decided to keep him. The kids love him and we named him Loki. I have recommend your animal hospital this year when we see someone trying find help on their own or stray animals. Word of mouth always works. The staff here is amazing! We had to say goodbye to our family pet right before the holiday weekend and they made this difficult decision so much easier for us. The entire staff was so compassionate and we never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. 😊

It was easy to make appointments. They were very accommodating. Large waiting room helped keep distance from other pets. Michelle helped me with checking out and walked out 1 of my large dogs to our car, I had 2. The 4 star rating was because the cost was high.

I was amazed by the care my very sick dog received. We came for the first time in an emergency situation. My dog needed surgey and everything was explained to me and I felt like they loved my dog as much as I do. I even received a follow up call over the weekend to check on my dog. We will definitely being returning and making this our fur babies new home.

I brought my pup as a walk in and they took her in with open arms. The staff are very friendly and the Dr was really friendly and made me feel comfortable with her diagnosis. My fur baby was comfortable with her as well.

I’m speechless! By far the best vet/hospital I’ve EVER been. The love they give the pets is insane and the care Dr. Gonsales gave my baby girl Sandy was incredible! I was told by her veterinarian that she had days or if lucky a month! I wasn’t going to give up on my baby I wanted a second opinion. Went to Barbers Hill Animal Hospital and boom Dr. Gonsales was a blessing send from god. She save my baby she is NOT 100% BUT she is improving and she is fighting! The drs. and vet tech’s, assistants, along with the front desk are all phenomenal and truly care and love our pets as much as we do. It is so comforting to know that all of them have a heart that beats for our fur babies as much as ours do. Even if it is not a pleasant piece of info to tell us. They are companionate and loving with all treatments to our babies. And we could not ask for a better crew of warriors to keep our babies healthy, safe, and in the best care possible. We Love our Vet family because thats just how they do their business. Could not ask for any better people to trust with our babies❤️❤️😍 😘. They all rock😍👍.

Great doctor! She got down on the floor with our German Shepard and did a thorough examination. We spent about 45 min in the examination room discussing her health history and explaining treatment.If your look for a bargain vet for just shoots try TSC. But if you are looking to get the best care for your family member BHAH is your place.

Dr. Gonsalves has cared for our fur babies for 11 years, and honestly, I don't think there's another vet on the planet who is as amazing as she is! She genuinely loves what she does and loves the pets as though they are her own. Taking proper care of a pet can get expensive, and Dr. Gonsalves keeps that in mind with every step she takes. Without me asking, she always approaches treatment plans by looking for the most effective approach at the most affordable price. I hope Dr Gonsalves never retires!

Everyone is very nice and helpful. Dr. Gonsalves explains everything well and doesn't make you feel rushed.The only issue I had was the amount of time I sat in the examining room alone with my cat waiting for different people to come in with info or treatments.

The vet staff is AMAZING! My dog struggles being at the vet even though they are so gentle and sweet with her. She recently needed blood work done and she was uncooperative. They said that they would like to send me home with trazodone so that they wouldn’t traumatize her and I could bring her back another day to get it done. She had surgery on her mouth a week later and it went great. They worked so hard on her and gave her back heathy and happy. I will continue to being my fur babies here. They said I could come for “happy visits” to get my dog used to being there and help her associate good times there.

Do you wanna know what kind of people you're dealing with at this establishment? Here's the short story of our traumatizing experience! We lived in baytown the last 3 years with our 4 yr old Pit bull. We moved to Mont Belvieu in May 21'. We realized our baby girl wasn't acting herself then in a few short days wasn't able to even walk. In panic mode, we called our usual vet and they "couldn't" see her... My husband rushed our baby to the nearest vet he could find(BHAH) while I gathered my things at work and rushed to meet him there! It was a little after 5pm and they were closing but Dr. Keene still saw her and ran some blood tests. When I got there, she told us our baby was in severe kidney failure. She had her tech get us into a Houston ER that night. Our sweet baby, only made it 6 more days as they did everything they could. A week later, we received the card pictured from Barbers Hill Animal hospital. Not even our own vet reached out! This was the most heartfelt thing that someone could've done for us during this time after losing our baby. Dr. Keene will forever be our pets doctor. She's got a heart of gold❤

They’re always so loving, caring, & honest when it comes to my pups care. Our 1yr old American Staffordshire terrier has a habit of chewing & eating things he shouldn’t... unfortunately this caused a bowel blockage requiring surgery. It’s been a long recovery process for us all & they’ve been wonderful to work with along the way. Definitely recommend the vets & amazing staff at BHAH!

Barbers Hill Animal Hospital is a wonderful veterinary practice. It is a new facility, very clean and spacious. The staff there are extremely friendly and caring. They made my dogs the center of attention, and I watched them do the same with other clients' dogs as well. We saw Dr. Keene and we just love her! We were new patients and she gave us her full attention, focusing on the health of my dogs and their well being. She spent a lot of time with us and I appreciate that. I had a 2:00 pm appointment and we didn't have to wait long before being seen. In my opinion she is a great veterinarian and I'm looking forward to many years of care from her and the animal hospital.An update from 02/06/23On this day, we saw Dr. Chow and what a pleasant experience! She was of course so knowledgeable, and kind as well. I brought in a sick dog and Dr. Chow was very educated on her (my dog's) illness. I left feeling very assured that my dog was receiving the best treatment and was on the right course to be healed. Again the entire staff was very friendly and welcoming - it all makes for a positive, pleasant experience when visiting the hospital.I don't think anyone would be disappointed with them for any reason.
