When I say Wishbone (Missouri city location) is the best . I truly do mean it. My puppy Diesel is a spicy and sassy breed and I wanted to find a place where he can succeed with other dogs and get that interaction from humans since I work all day. I can truly say this is diesel’s second home, he loves all the staff and is so excited when I say let’s go to day care, he looks forward to it every Friday. I recently boarded him for about four days, and I was able to have him be in daycare every single day was great knowing he’s always busying and not at home alone, plus I can say he did not want to come home. I also got him groomed and the groomer was amazing and really cared for my pup and made him look handsome.I also love how when I need an emergency bath they can always accommodate him, which is amazing. I can just say it feels really good to find a place that feel like him and where I know my dog is having fun all day with humans and running his energy out with his doggy friends. (P.S when I say he is knocked out he really is after a day at daycare)

Highly recommend! I love this place! I’ve been here four times now and every single person I have dealt with has been extremely courteous and goes above and beyond to help in whatever you need; healthy and holistic dog food or dog collars and any pet needs or questions. I also brought my dog in for a nail trim and they did an excellent job!! I had an appointment and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I will definitely be back!

I was very pleased with the service provided by Wishbone Pet Care and Healthy Smiles. I have an older dog and liked the dental cleaning without anesthesia. Tammy the owner of Wishbone was great at explaining the service and telling me about holistic care for my fur baby. I would recommend them.

I being bringing my 3 dogs for boarding, day care and grooming. All the staff are ultra nice and you can sense the love and care they provide to all the puppies. They treat them like their family pets. Lately I started with training sessions for my energetic pug Luna , and I can only praise Tabitha for her knowledge and commitment to help me achieve my training goals. Always great experiences at Wishbone!

My dog, Castiel, has really enjoyed his grooming experiences at Wishbone. The staff is so kind and helpful. We had just recently moved to the area, and they were so kind to give me vet recommendations. Cas is always so excited when we walk in, and he’s in such a good mood when I pick him up with his fresh handsome haircut!

We did a short course of private dog training with Tabitha from Wishbone. She was understanding, knowledgeable and patient, tailoring the course to our needs as a family and our pup’s temperament. A great experience and I highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Wishbone for almost 10 yrs, and I’ve moved and live in a Houston now. I don’t mind the drive because I know my fur baby is taken care of. They are awesome and listen to what the customer wants. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I pull into the parking lot of Wishbone, my dog starts getting very excited. When I park and try to take a "before" picture of him, he will not have it. He wants to shoot out of the car and get in there. We've had excellent experiences with boarding and grooming. The staff are exceedingly kind and caring.

I always love wishbone so much. The groomers know what they're doing and they do such a good job with Titus. They were the first groomer Ive been to and I've heard horror stories of corgis at other groomers being shaved but they got it down! I couldn't be happier! I live about 45 minutes away now but I still make the drive!

My dogs were suppose to get a bath today at 11 am And the staff were to call me for pick up at 3pm. (This was scheduled on Monday at 4pm and confirmed by the staff) I never received a call so I contacted them at 3:45pm only to find out neither dog had been bathed. I was then asked to bring them back tomorrow. I live on the other side of town and can not do that. The groomer left for the day and was not able to give them a bath and nail trim. The staff member bathed them but was unable to do the nail trim. I was charged for a groomer bathe which was not given. I dropped my dogs off with a half full container of food (15 days worth) when I picked them up there was only 2 days at most portions of food left. The dogs were dropped off Saturday and picked up Wednesday. 13 days of food are missing and the dogs were only there for 4 days!! What happened to the 9 days of food that is missing?? I will not be bringing my dogs back here. This is a shame because the dogs enjoyed coming to this location. I have never had issues in the past and have been coming here almost a year. But what happened today is unacceptable and no one attempted to remedy the situation at all. Poor customer service. On top of that the staff that checked me out gave me the wrong email to send my complaint to! Please retrain your staff as you just lost a lifelong customer due to their incompetence. I was willing to drive over 20 miles to bring my dogs here. But no longer after what happened today.

Love Wishbone Pet Care/Missouri City location. Staff clearly LOVES animals. My mini Schnauzer has been 3 times: once for grooming and twice for daycare. They give honest helpful feedback (like, that my puppy needed to be socialized to other animals and it would positively impact his behavior). They were right. It's not substitute for professional training, but it has helped with his frantic incessant barking at passers-by and expecting everyone to greet and play with him. After his groom, I posted his pic on a closed FB group for pet owners and someone commented that it was the best Schnauzer cut she had seen. I was referred by a friend. I also love that he is put into a daycare room only with other dogs his size and there is a window where I can peek at him. I am now sensing him to doggy daycare twice a month which helps to socialized him, gives him playtime with other pups and I get 2 for-sure focus days for work. The daycare cost is very reasonable.

I’ve been coming here about 3-4 times with months of space between each visit. They do a lovely job to my Chloé. I’m satisfied everytime. And the customer service is top of the line!!! I tried taking my dog to Petco and was told to pick her up Bc she was too difficult to deal with... that’s when I FIRST took my dog to Wishbone and Joan was great!!! I took my dog once to woof gang afterwards and I never will again, they could not match Wishbone. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you guys for always being so kind and willing to help, especially with my difficult dog! Forever grateful. 🙏🏼Also! I love the bandanas they give out, this one is by far my favorite cut and bandana!

I asked for a 1/2" off my aussie and they shaved him way too short!! (Attached are before and after)EDIT: I am changing my 1 star review to 3 stars. Even though the haircut wasn't what I wanted, the staff really care about their customers. The owner reached out to me to apologize for the mistake and ensure it wouldn't happen again, which I really appreciate!

After 6 years of employment and grooming at 3 different locations (Missouri City, Riverstone and Paw Envy) I have decided to quit. This place is a cesspool when it comes to toxic work environments. Like a dysfunctional relationship you think things will change but they don't. All the problems that happen behind the scenes are the fault of the owner. There's no concern for your pets well being or thet people that care for them. Through personal accouts owner has shown me that she's a racist and homophobic. There are a number of thing that make this place the worst place you can take your pet, spend money or work.1. Lack of support or recognition2. Unhealthy competition3. Bullying or harassment4. Fear driven leadership5. Lack of work life balance6. High turnover rates7. LACK OF TRANSPARENCYThe only reason people continue to work here for so long is because they've grown attached to the animals and people. This definitely is not the happy place you think. Owner only cares about money and don't let her fool you to make you think anything different.

Just moved to this area and got a puppy, so I decided to check this place out on a whim. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. It was fun getting to know about the different products and what was good for my kind of pet. Since I had a great experience I decided to take my dog to get the full grooming service. It was her first time and they were great at making sure she was comfortable and called me to keep me informed on her (she was nervous as expected but they offered to give her a CBD treat to help calm her so she could get through her haircut). They were so great with my puppy that when I came to pick her up she was excited and happy. Not skittish and ready to leave. Definitely recommend this place for grooming and for shopping.

This is my first time going to wishbone and they did a phenomenal job grooming my dog. They took special care to make sure my dog was not anxious during her groom. My dog looks great as well! I am very impressed with the professionalism of all of the staff. Will definitely be returning.

It's not always easy to find a pet grooming facility that offers cat grooming. We typically use the groomers located within our cat's veterinarian office but they've been difficult to schedule with because off the pandemic. I was hesitant to try someplace new because our cat is older and not always cooperative during grooming. Wishbone Pet Care had us scheduled within the same week of calling. The cat groomer was very attentive to our cat's demeanor and listened to my specific grooming request. The building felt calm and zen-like when I dropped off our cat. The grooming met all my requirements and was less than I pay at the vet's office. I was very impressed! EXCELLENT customer service! Thank you!

My senior dog LOVES Wishbone. The staff treats the old man like they are his own and he never has any problems. He is more well behaved there than he is at home!Can’t say enough good things about the staff! We had never boarded our dog, Charley, but were going out of town for a week. We visited 4 boarding/groomers and liked Wishbone Pet Care the best. They were very knowledgeable and truly cared about Charley. We especially liked that he wouldn’t be kept in a cage most of the time. He was allowed to be outside of the cage playing with other dogs and was only caged to eat and sleep. They even sent us a picture of him and kept us updated about how he was doing. We highly recommend Wishbone Pet Care and will definitely use them the next time we go out of town.

I've tried some of the other top locations in the Houston area. My pet has extreme anxiety, but she gets calm very quickly and Tammy and Staff are so accommodating and patient with our pet. Communication is beyond outstanding. Also, all products in this location are at top grade healthy for your loved pet. Wish one also supports our Military, with a discount.
