I am very disappointed. I scheduled a 730 am. grooming appointment. I get there 725 no one is there, but I see that they don't open till 8 am. I called the store, had no answer, then called the 800 number and was told by the customer service rep that you are allowed to schedule before the store open so you can get the first slot? Make that make sense. You are allowed to schedule an appointment before the store is open for service but have to wait. WOW!!!Why not let the first appointment be for 8 am. Unacceptable!!! Unfortunately, I couldn't wait because I had another appointment to be at for 8 am. What a total inconvenience!!!

I took my Great Pyrenees to get groomed. My husband specifically said no shaving because of his double coat. He dropped him off at 12pm and was given an estimate of 4-5 hours. He ended up being ready at 7:45pm. When I got there I realized he was the last dog there and that he had been shaved. I ask the groomer the reason for this and she said by husband had said shaving was ok. This was not true. She continue on saying they were short staff because a coworker had a medical emergency (she went into detail which is a HIPAA violation). When I got home and did a full inspection I realized he had patches and that his legs were deeply shaved. He was also very hungry and thirsty and did not seem he had gone to the restroom during the time he was at the groomer. We did contact the manager and were given a refund but this does not make this right. There is a large possibility his coat will not be the same after it grows back and in the mean time he is more at risk of getting sunburn. Do not recommend this groomer. I am putting this out there so other pet owners do not go through this.

I took my dog to get his first haircut this past Friday. While it was satisfied with the customer service, and the way they clipped his nails and trimmed his face, I was not satisfied with the way they cut his hair. They asked me how short i wanted it and didn’t cut it as near at all. It was my whole reason for taking him the phone number for the groomers is disconnected so i will have to go up there to try to resolve the issue. I also had a problem with the way they charge I they add on extra fees some without telling you and some they inform you on. I paid $71 and it doesn’t even look like his hair on his back was cut at all.

Went to Petco to get dog food (Royal Canin) the breed was out of stock. I spoke with Justin about the alternative I chose and he educated me on it being better for my dog and was cost efficient.

I've very happy with Petco. Although they're not as big as some other stores, they're very close to home and have quality products for our dogs. I'd be very unhappy if they weren't there for us.

Great groomers! Although there was only one groomer working the day of my visit, I was able to get assisted. The groomer communicated with me to provide times and updates on my dog's session. I gave the groomer a poor description on what haircut I wanted for my dog, and she was able to make my dog look great. MY dog also hates taking showers and cutting the hair from his legs, but the groomer was able to cut the hair even in those hard spots.

Had my dog Samantha bathed. They did a very nice job. Cleaned her ears, expressed her glands, trimmed her nails. She was happy and feels like a million bucks!

I buy all my pet food here. They always have our preferred brand. Staff is always helpful. We've added fish to our tank from here that have given us many babies!Our last grooming experience was not the best. One of our dogs came home a little upset (nothing was wrong. He just acted differently). I made a phone call, left a message, and no one returned my call. That is a problem for me.

Ever since my chihuahua was a puppy I have been coming to this pet store. Over the past seven years I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees or the company. I love that the employees are well informed on what foods are good for certain conditions (such as joint problems). Whenever I am curious about a new animal they have they are always at the ready with informational pamphlets and print outs!

I am so disappointed with the care they are giving the fish. Each tank had SEVERAL dead fish. One tank had a fish that the back fin was gone and he was alive and swimming upside down. So sad! There were 2 freshwater tanks that we so cloudy that I could barely see the poor glow fish. There was a tank with about a million sick fish. Like seriously what's going on here? Then there were wet floor signs. Smh I just dont understand. I have gotten fish from here before but NOT today. **I will update the review for a higher rating once they improve the fish conditions!**

Absolutely unbelievable how horrendous the experience I just dealt with! I will never go back to that location due to the pathetic customer service and the manager arguing with me about the price online. I go in to buy Priscilla fish, says online 2.99 per fish to $4.99 and for example, there's only one Pristilla green type of fish listed and it's a sale online, well turns out they would not match the price said it's a different type of Priscilla. Such a bad experience after 30 minutes of arguing with the cashier and manager about how I just bought the exact same fish at the Pearland location for more than half the price and there literally only being no other green Priscilla fish listed online they still did not price match it.Overall it's experiences like this that make you never want to go to a business like that again. I'll take my money elsewhere and it may not mean much but these horrible customer experiences will keep happening at that location and eventually corporate will shut it down or ppl will stop going there and it will close down on its own. I understand these are ppl who are usually working temp jobs like kids during summer but the manager has no excuse and should be fired! I spend over a thousand dollars annually on my animals and I will burn that money before it is ever spent supporting a company that has the lowest of low customer service, the GM needs to contact me & I will be calling corporate because this is just unacceptable

Today I took my labradoodle for a hair cut for the first time to any PETCO store, I was afraid because usually at any other “fancy” grooming shop they cut her hair in such a weird way that she doesn’t look like a labradoodle, but at this petco the hairstylist (Finn) was just THE BEST! He listened to what we wanted for our dog and delivered exactly that! Thanks FINN!

This Petco has knowledgeable, friendly and seriously helpful employees! I have Alzheimer's & pain diseases giving me 50/10 pain levels involving my hands so I can't easily use websites or store apps. They were so nice & knew a lot about dog foods & their ingredients! One employee offered to research to help with my two Chihuahuas' digestive issues! That's a guaranteed 5 Star review any day! The store itself is very clean, neat and organized! I've never found bugs in the food or in the store. I highly recommend this store if you need any pet supplies! They can put what you need on order to ship on your schedule while you're checking out at the cash register. You can also use their app to order things and then pick things up at their curb.I've never gotten any pet products that were expired, rancid or spoiled like I have from both Chewy and Amazon because they don't maintain the products at the right temperature. It's true! I got a big bottle of dog vitamins from Chewy that were completely melted and it came from Florida where they said it was never hot enough to melt them! It's why they want to use robots at Amazon so they don't have to keep the warehouses at human temperatures. Anyway I highly recommend this temperature controlled human run store! First time visiting and was there to purchase a small fish tank for a special little boy in my life. Never purchased a fish tank so I was confused and was hoping someone would come offer help but the workers walk back and forth throughout the main walkway and never came and offered assistance. I was disappointed in that part of my experience, but the cashier was pleasant and offered help. Parking was adequate.

Groomer was rude and unprofessional. Complained to me about having to do her job and told me my dog was difficult. misquoted me incorrect times for pickup then became frustrated when i arrived for pickup telling me not to come back until i was called.

If you’re looking for a pet stylist/groomer, you must try out Ms.Mimi at Petco off Highway six. She’s very friendly. Attentive goes out of her way to make sure that not only you are satisfied, but that your pet is well taken care of.

It was good got my dog a bed that came with a blanket & a toy bone for a real good price & my dog some food & a ball
