Went in last night between 8:40-8:45pm the store closes at 9pm. Go to order and they’re out of a few things which is no biggie. The employee takes the 2 orders, we go to pay BEFORE the food is dressed and that’s when she asks “will this be to go or dine in?” I answer for “dine in”. She then says “well our dining room is closed.”(no ropes, no signage, etc.) to which I responded by saying “it’s 8:49 and it looks very open to me”. She then just walks off to go get the manager at the time. She comes out and has a whole discussion with the other 2 employees. One of which is just leaned over the counter on her phone and says “I guess I can just clean again”. Then the “manager” just walks off. No one says a word back, didn’t offer my receipt, didn’t say my food was good to take, nothing. So I then asked for the franchise owners contact info. To which she says “she’s the manager” and I asks if she’s the owner and she says “no” but she’s not going to give me her contact info.So she proceeds to call Sonja, which I said I can just contact in the am. The “manager” then tells me I can just Google the number orShe can Google it online for me.I take my food, we sit down to eat it and as we’re sitting there the same “manager” walks up with her employees to the side of our table and says “excuse me sir, but it’s 9:03 and we’re closed.” So I told her that we were going to sit there and finish our food that we paid for. We then offer the tray of trash to them since they had to “clean” and she says “no we can’t take that from you and you need to put it in the trash yourself”. Then they all just walk off and to the back. Once we go to leave, we dump our trash, wiped our own table and on the way out one employee goes to grab the tray and the “manager” ask her “did she hand that tray to you or put it down?”Side note: when we walked out all of the coke faucets were still on and not taken off for cleaning, that is also a sanitary issue.Idk what type of employees or operation was running last night but it was ridiculous. Your team is supposed to be just that, a team. Your manager is supposed to lead. If you just wanted to get out of there early, then say that. But you’re open until 9pm. Not 8:45pm. When people pay for their food, they should be able to eat their food and not be bothered to get out at 9:03pm.Customer service is about taking care of customers. Them before you. It’s bigger picture, NOT about self.

Ordered through the mobile app for first time for a big BLTA. The food was average, but workers neglected my special request: “Cut into fourths.”I recognized the sandwich was only halved and asked if they could add the extra knife cuts and they pointed me to the plastic knives nearby. I’m a individual that loves to share his food but to not even cut the sub in half proportionately tells me of the lack of standards, at least at this particular location. I didn’t expect this and I was told this was a good sandwich shop to eat at, but I care about the little things just as much as the big.

Food was decent.Only one suggestion for the franchise… raw, thickly sliced, white onion on a sandwich is too overpowering. Please switch to medium or thinly sliced red onion.Personal preference: I don’t like kettle cooked potato chips, but that’s the only choice available. (baked potato chips are an abomination, and cheese doodles are terrible)Prices here are surprisingly reasonable for the area.

OMG, the sandwich was awesome. Enjoyed the heck out of it. Should have gotten the Original not the Big. Trying to eat less. One of two problems was I had to clean my own table all looked dirty. I guess when they saw me clean my table they came out and cleaned the rest. Second problem, NO ICE, so I went to grab a bottled one and it was hot. I will be back though.

I decided to go to Potbelly for a BLTA, I checked the reviews and the price listed on here and felt okay. Many one star reviews are absolutely right, where are the employees? I had gone in right at prime time 6pm, not a sole to be seen. I was also shocked to see a BIG BLTA was 13.39$+tax, It had 3 small strips of beacon and get this, there was less than half a small avocado on the counter and they didn't even give me all of that, I got about a quarter of the avocado. They sure saved potbelly a lot of money by leaving the 12.5% of half an avocado for someone else. If you are hungry order 2 big sandwiches, you will need both.Parking: No one eats here so parking is a breeze.

Solid sandwich, solid price. No frills, and served to perfection.Highly recommend the Steakhouse beef! The blue cheese in it is beautiful, and goes so perfectly.This little shop won’t disappoint, your wallet or your stomach!

Just like all the other bad reviews said, same experice. This place is run by teenages that barely look old enough to be in high school. The loud an annoying hiphop blasting so that i had to yell at the guy making my food. The veggie sandwich had no veggies in it except mushrooms! It was dripping with may and mustard and had some cheese in it. Disgusting. The guy making the sandwich kept sneezing and sneezing, I asked him to change his gloves cuz that's disgusting it was about to go into my food and he should have been wearing a mask. I asked if the potato soup had bacon, the guy double checked that it did not I said ok. Guess what, it had bacon, that the other employees told me he went and added to the soup. Seriously? The food was NOT cheap either and my sandwich is literally going to the trash, the brocoli soup I got instead too probably because it's super salty. Please train these little kinds to do better and be more professional.

It's the worst sandwich I've had from there ever. Called in the order and got home and the bread was like rubber, the chicken pot pie soup was really good, actually worth eating.

Just moved here and this place looked quirky and fun, at the least hopefully tasty. Staff was very rude, and unhelpful. First time in this establishment,no clear cut path for ordering. The ordering is weird, there's hardly any way to speak to the associate behind the counter due to the 5ft tall wall and mass amount of advertising props and merch in the way. Not to mention the massively tall oven in the middle that apparently the associates on the toppings side don't know how to receive a toasted sandwhich and communicate what the next step is in the process. Guesswork was heavily employed by the customer (myself and partner)Associates were not helpful or explanatory of the process, menus behind the counter were hard to read due to the tall wall and sandwhich assembly was hard to understand as associates stood too far back from the assembly line, shouting questions that were unable to be heard over the din of dining atmosphere and music, and the oven blocked visuals.Checkout did not ask for rewards/perk number so I did not receive credit for purchase."fresh, fast, friendly" the friendliness was seriously lacking.The sweet tea was tainted with coffee grounds and tasted old and like coffee mixed with tea.Altogether the most unpleasant sandwich shop I have ever been to.The food was decent enough, but I'm not sure the experience was worth the price of a bland Mediterranean sandwich and overpriced bottled drink.The ham and cheese was pretty basic and hard to mess up, so I guess there's that.Definitely will reconsider heavily before returning.

The rudest people ever, the one guy had no idea what is 8n a chicken salad he said only put cheese on sandwiches and didn't even ask the other employee, then the next guy with earbuds in had no personality at all then the girl ringing up the food was rude and hates her job...if you want to stay in business fire all of them... definitely no southern hospitality there at all

First time experiencing Potbelly. I was somehow robbed of $16.95. Ordered a Steakhouse Angus sandwich combo. Quality and quantity of the meal was terrible for the price. I've had actual steaks cheaper and better quality than this.Opening up the wrapper, I was immediately greeted with a huge slab of inedible gristle. It was about as long as my hand from the middle finger to palm, and about as wide. Knowing that sandwich shops portion their meats by weight, I knew my sandwich was immediately ruined. What meat was left was two of the most anemic slices of roast beef I've ever seen. The "horseradish aioli" was not on the sandwich, but in retrospect that would have been a disaster. The roast beef was completely devoid of any flavor. All I could taste was lettuce and bread. Let that sink in. $17 for a lettuce sandwich.Tea was so soured it was chalky. Chips were chips. For $17 I expected much, much more. Between ordering "food" from Potbelly or giving $20 to a homeless man to buy heroin, I would give it to the homeless.

Not a good first look here, and there will not be a 2nd visit. Store was dead empty on a Sunday evening. We ordered 45 minutes early, and they didn't even give us (3) a spoon for our soup, no napkins or any condiments whatsoever in the bag, and they charged me for an oreo shake that I never received. The bacon on my chicken club was raw, and was thrown away in the interest in not getting sick. I could not imagine the mistakes that come out of here during a lunch rush.

First time going. They were very patient with my indecisive self! And they were very nice as well! Food was good too! I could tell the meat is sliced fresh daily because it left me with no fluid reaction! Love it will be going back!

Food was great, the bread was really good. I've had two sandwiches, a roast beef and the italian both were wonderful sandwiches. the staff was eager to help and courteous. My only complaint is that the whole process seems strained. I don't know if the corporate level trains the franchise owners in operations, but it was a mad house.. employees tripping over one another and me being an first time customer was almost as lost as they were. Maybe I'm over critical, the place is new as I'm sure the employees were also, but it was the same on two separate occasions. Overall the food was great, and I would recommend stopping by. Just bring a little patience.

Awesome! Staff was very welcoming upon entry and continued the positive experience throughout the entire ordering process. The Meatball on multi grain bread is amazing! Also, the new Chicken Pot Pie soup was incredible. I will come back every time I am in Midland (I live in Charlotte, NC).

My coworker and I placed an order online to have delivered, waited over an hour before we called to check where the food was, they then decide to tell us that they are not doing deliveries today. The food was paid for online so I guess they were just going to keep our money and not say a word, no phone call or anything. Wth?!The reason for 3 stars is because the very first time I ordered from here I asked for no mayo, when I got there to pick it up I wanted to confirm that there was no mayo and the lady assured me there wasn't while pointing at the sandwich that had "NO MAYO" written on it. I did not double check because I figured with it written on there that it was for sure right. I get to work open it up and it was loaded with mayo, almost if I had asked for extra.The food is good but service not so much

You know what, I heard that this place wasn't very good so I stayed away for the last year. I finally went there the other day for lunch and I was surprised to find that it was really good. I ordered their most popular sandwich and it was great. The hot peppers were really hot, so heads up if you don't like spicy food. The place was clean and the people professional. I will be going back!

The Italian and mushroom melt sandwiches were flavorful. Their hot pepper mixture is spicy and a good addition to your sandwich. The strawberry smoothie was good. Employees were friendly and helpful for us first-timers. The establishment (and bathroom) appeared clean. One thing that was refreshing was the fact that I could actually have a conversation with who I'm eating with unlike places like Buffalo Wild Wings and Bubba's.

I stopped in expecting a good meal. The sandwich I ordered was hot, delicious and tasty. The restaurant was busy and seating was limited. I did however find a place to sit and enjoy this delicious meal. I will definitely return provided the quality stays high. Great place to eat.
