one of the worst Walmarts ever ...plenty of associates doing their jobs and plenty of them just walking around doing nothing 😠I have a Disability that prevents me from doing certain things.And if you're wondering, "why didn't you just ask for help?" ....You don't think 🤔 that I have tried ...most of them just pretended not to hear me and walk away ...the only one that actually did help me was one lady at the produce department ...with really colorful hair ...that I liked.she was able to direct me to where I needed to goPLEASE CHANGE YOUR STORE POLICIES TO ACTUALLY GET PAID TO DO WHAT COMES FIRST AND THAT US TO HELP THE CUSTOMER, ( PERIOD! )

If I could rate less than one star I would. I understand it's the Holidays and people are stressed, but y'all LITERALLY get paid to perform CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES! We already have to scan, ring up, and bag our own items. I wouldn't think it would be as hard as it obviously is to just BE COURTEOUS to the people coming in to spend money at your job! There were no bags at self checkout and when asked to refill said bags the employee acted like we asked for her kidney and her first borns first born. 🙄

I wish I could give this place ZERO. I heard about what happened with that poor lady from a friend of mine who shopped there, that the store manager refused to help her with a card or something, then proceeded to have called police to escort her out. That lady was crying long before the police arrived so that should explain something.He must’ve been that rude and selfish enough to do something like this! I will never set foot in this Walmart until something changes about these managers than this ridiculous remodel.

My tire popped tonight and thank you to theses two gentleman at the tire shop were about ready to head home tonight and were gladly helpful enough to turn on their compressor air back knowing it would take 30 mins up to 1 hour and make me a new tire without second guessing it You Walmart team are amazing !

This Walmart keeps more registers with attendants open more than other Walmart stores in the area. Staff is always friendly and kind.

It was okay not very clean and the cashiers had attitudes we had to take ourselves out then they got mad because I decided I didn't want something so sorry for you but they were rude it was an all right place not the cleanest I've ever been the bathrooms were horrific but that's it

I found so many nice quality things here that I didn't expect to find every thing I was looking for I found they have better homes and garden products very simple to elegant wall curtains sheer to black out ones they gave televisions in every size brand and price if you want top purchase a TV temporary until an upgrade they have some 32 inch away $100 or if your looking for the best brands they have those also in a very reasonable price debbie little short lady in electronics is very helpful and and as sweet as pie from the kitchen, bedroom living room to bathroom this Walmart has you covered. Go visit them.

On 11/07/23 I was in town visiting my elderly mother and I noticed she had a tire on her car that needed to be replaced. She decided to get all new tires, and suggested Wal-Mart. We pulled into the automotive area and noticed one car being worked on. We went inside to purchase the tires and I noticed 3 employees working on one car, actually one employee working the other two just talking. We stood by the register for at least 10 minutes and nobody came to help us. Then another customer walks up and says we can't get anybody to help us. We stood there for probably another 5 minutes or so and I buzzed us out and we left. I do not recommend Wal-Mart in Mexia for any automotive work.

I don't know why, but Walmart in general stresses me out. I think I get overwhelmed because there's so much going on all of the time. I try not to shop at Walmart. I just order online.

Helpful isn’t even the word I give them…they ARE a SUPER, FANTASTIC, AWESOME STAFF!!!!! I have chronic Epstein Bar which came out of remission in June of this year and I desperately needed the FLU, COVID, PNEUMOCOCCAL, AND SHINGLES VACCINES. When I needed the flu shot, my insurance gave me all sorts of problems! They said, and I quote, “all vaccinations must be given in a physicians office! No exceptions.” My reply to that was, “all physicians, excluding pediatricians, do not keep vaccines in their offices here or even in a major city like Houston, so, how am I, or anyone else, suppose to get them?”The pharmacist and staff member tried several different ways to get them to give the green light to my getting just a flu shot at the Walmart pharmacy that day. God Bless the Mexia, Texas, staff as they were able to get the insurance to give it the green light. Then came the battle for the rest of the immunizations which the insurance finally told me to get the doctor to file it under “medical”, not just “vaccines”. You’d think the insurance would have told me to have it filed that way right off the bat as they knew I was very sick and this was my 3rd time of it coming out of remission.To All Pharmacy Staff: Y’all made this pain in the butt ordeal a lot more pleasant than it would have been without you and all the hard work y’all did!!!Many, many thanks!

Went in here on a whim Actually visited Woodforest Bank inside the Walmart. What a bank, Walmart picked a winning partner when they teamed up with Woodforest Bank. First bank I've ever dealt with that has excellent customer service. Was treated like a customer not a number.

I'm curious as to why a grown woman with no identification, who is also unwilling to identify herself, would think it's appropriate to unlawfully detaim two minor children in a room with no windows and no other adult present because she couldn't read the receipt she was given and realize that she had wrongfully accused a family of stealing a package of instant mashed potatoes valued at less than $1.50. She held those children against their will for OVER AN HOUR. She only relinquished them to a guardian when the police and CPS were contacted . The look of terror in the eyes of those children is horrific. Instead of offer any explanation to the family, she hastily slammed the door shut after smirking at the children. She is guilty of unlawful detainment, kidnapping, and illegally questioning a child without an adult being present. Yet, somehow, the only place we learn about this predator is social media. Walmart is not responding to requests for answers. The woman in question lied to the police responding to the scene and refused to provide her information for use when filing suit. How is this acceptable!!?? What kind of monster does this to two small children??!! Over a bag of dehydrated mashed potatoes. It all smacks of opportunism, willful disregard for the law, and predatory behavior. The community should know about this incident and allow it to influence their shopping decisions, especially if one will have their small children in the store. These children were hysterical after leaving the cage she used for detainment. She didn't even flinch. She showed those children absolutely no regard.

Renovation going on at this location. But some employees at this store are rude. Asked a cashier how he was doing and he just looked at me. Then I said Have a good day still no response. Walmart must not treat their employees well.

I was travelling and stopped to get a few items. When I got home (70 miles away) two items were missing. These items totaled $50. I called the store (of course the Manager was on vacation) and was told I would have to drive all the way back to get the items. I was told when I first called that I could handle this at a nearby store. When I went to a nearby store I was quickly told NO. That Manager was also on vacation. I drove the 70 miles on my day off for the principal of it. I received no apology in fact they were RUDE.

Need a pharmacy? Go somewhere else. I suggest HEB or CVS. Clerk was very unfriendly and not helpful. Never smiled and never offered to get more information. Turns out that the prescription had not been called in, if that's the case, that's fine, but was only told it wasn't ready and she couldn't see if it had been called in, only that it wasn't ready. I had to force her to even ask the pharmacy tech if it had been called in since the doctor's office was about to close. She acted like it was an inconvenience to turn around and take TWO steps to ask the pharmacist to check.

Store did a remodel, added a bunch of self checkouts, only have *1* cashier until 10 or so. Too many people do not want to check themselves out, we aren't employees. Too many people do actual grocery shopping and need a cashier which backs up solo one.

It is a decent store, the lines are pretty long during busy times but seem to move along at a well enough pace. There is a good selection of products and online pickup as well.

We live near Buffalo so have a Wal Mart about 30 miles in 3 directions. Mexia keeps better stocked so after 2.5 years of living here Mexia is our go-to, just don't do shots or use pharmacy unless you have to. They seem borderline incompetent. It took one hour to get a shot and noone in front of me. Slow as heck. Never use pharmacy here again.
