First, I hate being around people even when there is not a pandemic virus going around. Social skills of people, the idea of just being polite seems to have taken a nosedive. I was pleasantly pleased yesterday, after I fired my oil change place of 15 years for being rude and unprofessional. I went to Ace with an attitude, the door was opened for me by a young man who asked how he could help. The conversation went something like this. “ I need welding rods.” “Do you know what type.” “No, I do not have a clue. I hope you can help. It is a Xmas present for my brother.” “Well, I bet we can figure it out.” We went to the welding rods. He asked me questions about the projects being done. We read a lot of boxes and we came-up with what we thought would work best. I bought the large box when the small box probably would have done.I predict Ace will survive the next year. The oil change place will be closed in a few months.
