No, they did not make getting our flu shots convenient. My husband and I wanted only the flu shots. Online coupled the flu and covid shots. We walked in same as last 7 years for flu shots…We went 11/19 about 2:30. They were not busy. Said it had to be scheduled online…..I phoned Walgreens in Palestine as we were headed to that town. They said come on in as walk in.👍.Guess who will be getting more of our business…

THIS BY FAR THE WORSE PHARMACY IN THIS CITY. EVERY TIME I GO HERE I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE PHARMACY. THIS TIME I PUT IN A PRESCRIPTION FOR MY SICK 7yr OLD SON. THEY FILLED THE PRESCRIPTION AND CALLED ME TO THE WINDOW AS IM STAYING AT THE WINDOW THEY HAVE AN ISSUE WITH INSURANCE. ITS NOW THEIR LUNCH TIME AND THE PHARMACIST OLIVER SAYS HE CANT HELP ME BECAUSE ITS HIS LUNCH TIME MIND YOU I AM ALREADY BEING SERVICED AT THE COUNTER. INSTEAD HE SAYS HE CAN’T HELP AND HE’S GOING TO LUNCH AND PROCEEDS TO CLOSE THE WINDOW IN MY FACE. I AM FURIOUS AT THIS POINT AND I WALK AWAY. I HAVE A SICK CHILD AT HOME THEY I NEEDED TO GET BACK TO SO THATS THE ONLY REASON I DIDN’T CAUSE HELL.

Pharmacy employee (Kathy) complained outloud several times and as I was leaving that I was there too early. I spend quite a bit of money in this store. but after her complaining, I'm moving to HEB.

This location is the absolute poorest I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. From the pharmacy counter to the front check out counter. The staff is simply there for a pay check their total disregard for the customer is extremely disappointing. It would be better to just shut the store down with the entire staff needing to attend training for customer service, diversity, and inclusion so they are able to embody a customer focused approach. I waited 1 year to post a review hoping the experience would change. However, it is consistently horrible with every visit. I now refuse to use the store it’s not worth the trouble.

Terrible PR. DELAYED SERVICE TO POST OP PATIENT. Wish I could leave zero stars, but that’s not possible, Kathy in the pharmacy is the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. She will argue with you to hell and back about absolutely everything. I needed to pick up my birth control but they had its refill scheduled for a certain day. That day was four days after my prescription ran out, even with the placebo pills being taken. She argued with me until she was blue in the face, talking to me like I was stupid because she can’t count and doesn’t understand that you can’t just stop birth control for four days. then throws her hands up and turns to the pharmacist and says “this lady is yelling at me because she doesn’t know how to take her birth control the right way, you deal with her” I don’t yell, especially in public. It’s embarrassing to me and the person being yelled at, so it’s not worth it. This is after my grandma and I had too many bad instances/interactions with Kathy over my grandmas medications. She’s a rude and unprofessional person. My grandma switched all of her 20-something prescriptions over to Walmart and so have I. Not had an issue since.

The old woman at the pickup desk is by far the RUDEST woman I’ve ever tlkd to. So bad I had my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy. Lady I hope you see this and know that you deserve no stars and learn some manners!!!

The reviews would be even lower if it wasn’t for the “local guides” bumping it up because this is the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with and clearly the worst everyone else has been to as well. Even another cvs was confused on why they claimed I didn’t have a profile especially when one of the pharmacists there had literally pulled my profile up the day before. The best part was that I was told they sold the last bottle of it just before I called(again) to see why they had messed up my prescription when it should have been 24 hours before they sold the last one. So if you care about your health I would suggest to not even bother trying out this pharmacy. Go to Waco, switch to the one at Walmart or HEB. You know it’s bad when even a doctor and another CVS says what happened is ridiculous. I have been a CVS customer my whole life and I will not go back to this one.Edited to add: they also lied and claimed my doctor didn’t send in the prescription when she sent it in twice. Apparently this is a common occurrence at this CVS. I have switched to the one in HEB and already they have proven themselves to be the better choice.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I’ve finally had enough of them. Their pharmacy staff members have never been very friendly, however one particular member (I think her name was Kathy) was VERY rude over the phone and claimed my Dr didn’t call in the script. I understand they’re busy and it seems like there are never enough people working, but please don’t take it out on the customers. After calling my doctor and asking them to send the script (they said they did the first time, and I believe them) I went to pick it up. The signs driving up says “left lane for covid testing, right lane for prescription pickup.” As I pulled up to the right lane I see there’s a handwritten note that said “this lane is out of order” and thought there’s no way, after the signs specifically said to pull up to the second lane. Sure enough, the lane was out of order and as a result they weren’t doing drive through pick ups. I’ve lived several places around Texas and have always used CVS, this Mexia location completely ruined it for me.

The hours on the window stares they open at 8am. I waited till 8:09 and went to the drive through. It also stated it opens at 8am. The employee pulled up at approximately 8:04 and went inside. I called the store and the recording stated the pharmacy opens at 9am. When I was finally able to get the lady to answer the phone I started the above information. She said she was sorry that she was a few minutes late. She informed me that she had to drive 30 minutes and also had to get her son to school.I stated to her that window sticker on the pharmacy hours was wrong. She didn’t know it was wrong. And her comment was that she had to go get the money and walk through the store and she was sorry she didn’t walk fast enough!To me this is unacceptable! It put me behind because she didn’t plan her morning correctly.

The pharmacy has no customer service skills. Tried getting a prescription transferred to another pharmacy 1st they tell me there is no refills then they tell the other pharmacy it was transferred but couldn’t tell us where it was transferred then the pharmacy hung up on the pharmacy from brookshires. They were just rude and no help at all

Went to purchase a certain feminine product from the pharmacy and the pharmacist behind the counter wasn't exactly eager to help me. When I found what I needed and came to check out he said they didn't have any money in the register, but I was paying with a card....? So I had to walk up front with this certain product that you should be able to have checked out with *discretion*. Granted it was early in the morning on a Monday, so it wasn't busy, but the pharmacist didn't get up once from his desk to help me let alone look me in the eye. The girl up front was very nice, but overall disappointed with the pharmacy service. Next time I'll just save my gas and go to Walmart.

If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. This pharmacy is TERRIBLE. After TWO attempts to fill a prescription, we STILL left EMPTY-HANDED. Attempt #1 failed because the pharmacist was LATE for his shift and “stuck in traffic”. The second attempt failed because the SAME pharmacist during the SAME day, who was LATE for his shift, was blabbing to one customer about him being off tomorrow and carrying on a conversation WELL AFTER the transaction was complete, KNOWING that we were in line WAITING for service. We got tired of waiting, so we left.

EVERYTIME we go to CVS pharmacy in Mexia we get TERRIBLE customer service. They never want to answer the phone and if you go in you stand at the counter for at LEAST 10 minutes before someone will even acknowledge that you’re there. I would NOT recommend CVS pharmacy in Mexia to anyone.

I'm from out of town and I was trying to get my prescription forwarded to there Pharmacy, the gentleman on the phone barely was able to understand English, the pharmacist told me they would try and help me and they would kindly call me back, it never happened, I had waited for the pharmacy to call me back for hours so I called back and they were closed I was very disappointed with their Pharmacy customer service. I don't think I will ever go back there🙁

Absolutely horrible place to do business, I’m trying to get a Covid 19 test and all they want to do is talk about booster shots.. then the lady on the phone hung up on me because I was getting frustrated trying to schedule an appointment to get tested.!!!!!I will never do business with them again!!!!!!!

This pharmacy is dishonest and is very poorly operated! Heads up to anyone purchasing prescriptions. Make sure you look over everything before paying your bill. Our mistake just cost us over $350 😞😡
