We’ve used their boarding facilities for several months now and the staff has been very attentive and observant about the dogs. In rescue work, we don’t always have fosters available for dogs in need. John and his staff have always been great to work with they’ve and they’ve helped us help more dogs. We are so thankful for them!

Not sure what to think about this place. I have a very nervous dog and when we came in I let the technician know that. He needed a nail trim and I was hoping the man would be gentle with him. He didn’t handle him roughly but also didn’t try to reassure or make him feel at ease. I was apprehensive as my dog was taken to the back for his nail trim and I heard another dog back there barking and crying. The technician is very unfriendly, needs grooming himself, and seemed to have a huge a huge angry chip on his shoulder. Strange that he hasn’t driven away all of the customers. I’ll stick to Petco where I can see my dog while they trim his nails and the technicians are friendly and kind.

John, Chelsea, and staff are the best! Have been taking my sweet Panda to P'etcetera for boarding and grooming for 3+ years. Very clean and well maintained facility. Panda is always happy when I pick him up from boarding and/or grooming, and I know that he has had the very best of care!

First time there and my puppy, JoJo, was excited. He likes smelling good so as soon as we got in he was ready to go. Gave me a huge bye and walked with the lady to the back. I came back for him and he had to show me his bandana all day! But his feet were cut perfect, they did good on the hair trim, and he was soft/fluffy. Very good. We have a new groomer!

This is our second time taking our labradoodle here. To say we are pleased is an understatement!! They do such a wonderful job. He is so happy when we come to pick him up. He looks really good and smells great. They cut him exactly how we ask. On his walk today, so many people stopped to say how pretty he is. I would definitely recommend Pet’cetera to anyone!!

My Bella was at this location few days ago:Was my baby hurt in any way besides the cuts and burns she gor from the groomer??????Since we picked her up from here she has been very sick, sad, with no appetite and in pain. First we notice within few hours we picked up that she was walking weird, her spine towards one side, I thought she was just feeling weird after the shaving. she didn't want to eat anything that day. The next day i took her out to potty, and she had diarrhea with blood.... i freaked out, but waiting until her second poop of the day, and this time it came out with more blood.... so i called the Vet and they told me to take her in ASAP. On my way to the Vet I called P'etcetera and spoke to the receptionist, he stated the burns and cuts are normal since they had to get to the bad hair (i wasn't not happy with that but tried to understand their point) I told him about Bella's symptoms and they way she was walking since we picked up from their location, he stated that none hurt her there and that she was a good girl, about the bloody diarrhea, he mentioned that sometimes when puppies are under extreme stress this could happen and since Bella is afraid of water and nail clipping that that could be the answer. So after our visit with the Vet they prescribed antibiotic for the diarrhea and diagnosed her with stress colitis due to grooming, I spent $61.00 on this visit. About her been hurt on her lower spine, she advised us to keep and eye on that and to bring her back for x-rays if not improvement.Bella's grooming apt was on 8/27 , as of today 9/1/2019 Bella keeps waking to one side and is obvious that she is hurting. So I am calling her Vet first thing in the morning tomorrow and ask for the x-rays apt.If you do not want to go through something like this and see your babies in pain and on top of that spend money you may not have, do NOT TAKE THEM HERE...!!!!!Attached are some of the pictures I took.

This was my first time trying thisPlace out. My dog “bailey” she loves playing in the dirt so her fur look really bad and it had knots. She looks so much better now . They even put bows on her. I never leave reviews but this place is incredible! Their prices are more than reasonable to begin with. I was so nervous about leaving my sweet boy in someone else’s care for a whole week for the first time ever. He’s a rescue and he gets extremely nervous and shy around strangers. They made sure to keep him on his regular potty and feeding schedule so when we came back we didn’t have to readjust his schedule or anything! They even allowed my best friend to pick him up for us so he would be home by the time we got in from the airport! She said he was really happy when she picked him up and he has been his regular happy self since we’ve been home so I know he was well taken care of and loved on while we were gone. I am so grateful to have found this place and will definitely be a repeat customer from now on. The staff was really pleasant and caring from our visit to examine the place before deciding to board him there and throughout his stay, they picked up the phone and gave me an update on him every time I called! The kennels are clean and our baby came home clean with no fleas or anything. I’m a happy fur momma and recommend Petcetera for boarding your babies!!

Great service. My pup was a little traumatized when he left. But, he was matted under his belly. That's on me. I just think they had too many pups this last time as it took all day. Longer than I was told. Other than that, I love this place. I drove from Oak Cliff to bring my pup dog here and im very satisfied that I did.

The owners response to a 1 star review shows everything we need to see. Unprofessional and petty. Small business minded is the issue here. Handle this rough patch with Grace, take responsibility for actions and work hard to earn your clientele. I recently worked for a small business where the owner got (rightly) accused for racism, and she owned up to it, and they changed their company around to promote and support diversity, literally catering parts of their services to what diverse clientele wanted and needed. They are booming now, just celebrating 25 years and opening a larger locations. Please look within and think bigger than a “small business” owner mindset.

My dog has been groomed and boarded here on and off for years.This is the only place that we can send him and he comes back behaving "normally".My dog is always treated very well here and his groom looks great every time.The owner and staff are very nice and the prices are reasonable.

I have taken my dogs here since they were puppies. As time went on the service has gotten worse!!! Whoever they have grooming does not know how to groom properly. My dog left with a bloody paw, choppy haircut and nails not cut. After this service I will not bring my dog back. The service has declined over time and it's at a point where I shouldn't pay for the service I have been given. I'm so disappointed. I have to find a new groomer.

I’ve taken my pup here for the 2nd time and the service is great and super affordable! This place has been voted one of the top groomers in Mesquite and they deserve it. I used to pay around $20 more at PetSmart for the same services but this one also includes painting my pup’s nails. Don’t hesitate to give them a try!

I've tried this place twice, in 2023 Spring and late summer. It smells horrible and no one seemed bothered by it. I even pointed dog/cat pooped on the floor. I understand that you are renovation, but wow , what does that have to do with cleaning and disinfecting?

I started going to this place a few months back and I always took my puppy to Petsmart and Petsmart always gave me such a hard time there would be multiple times I would pick him up and he would be halfway done saying that he was too hard and he would try to bite anda fight them my puppy is like 6 pounds it was always one thing or another they got to the point where they said they could no longer see him and I would have to take him to a place where they would sedate him to get groomed I decided to look around and I found this place fell in love with it the first time I took him in they had no issues whatsoever and his teddy bear look came out 100% you can tell they know what there doing !! And my puppy has not needed to be sedated he comes out of there very happy you can tell he’s not miss treated the place is neat clean prices are great I just love this place I see a big big difference compared to where he used to get done at Petsmart I would recommend anyone and everyone LOL❤️❤️❤️

I called to make an appointment for my 9 yr old poodle but questioned the necessity of ALL the vaccines they require. No other groomer ever has required a parvo shot for a 9 yr old dog. The manager started yelling at me and hung up! Shot requirements complete aside I would never trust my dog to them!

We boarded our babies with them for one week recently and when we picked them up their feet were all muddy, one of them has a bleeding foot and another with half of her body wet....When I got them back in our home and all settled I noticed all of them have no appetite and two of them did not even want to eat at all, all of them also had vomiting and diarrhea for more than a week. We have sent them with their own food and treats from our home.We have boarded our pets in other facilities and this is the first time I've had all of them returning home sick...I have a friend who recently asked where I boarded our babies and I told them sadly I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.

We take both of our dogs here for boarding. Both come home happy.We recently got our long-haired cat groomed. She got the lion cut. They didn't get her completely done, but she (our cat) was done. They said we could bring her back in a few days to get her finished up.Great place, great service.

I absolutely love this place! I've been here twice since I moved here in November 2016 and both times I was impressed. I have 2 huskies who shed uncontrollably and they always take their time to make sure their deshed is thorough. Their nails are always the proper length and my dogs are always happy to see me when I pick them up. The front desk staff is super friendly too. Will definitely be back.
