Got on the app to make sure they would have the things I needed. Everything said in stocks, all had 6 or more in stock, my husband goes in, sees none of the items. Asks and they say they don't have it. Sure 1 or 2 missed stock is fine but 6 and over? Of multiple items? Seriously do inventory!

I would give it a zero but it is not an option! This store is a monstrosity. Nasty, dirty floors all the time, overstocking everything to the point you cannot get through the isles. Products pretty much just crammed on the selves with little concern to properly stack them. It is a disgrace for a city.

Extremely hard workers here. They are endlessly greeting all customers, stalking shelves from am til pm plus cashing and Thanking customers... I know they are waiting on a new manager here, I know he/she will do a Great job here just like the employees...THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HARD WORK, EXTRA HOURS, OR NO DAYS OFF. The remodel here was a big fail. The store is worse than ever on the inside there is an inventory cart sitting between and at the end of the aisles almost every day. The shelves aren't stocked and the items are mispriced. Prices are higher than labeled on many items. There are 2 registers one is a self checkout. If your items ring up wrong, and they will, you will have to deal with it.

I love the selection that they have here, the store is a bit jumbled up at times and the lines are horrendous, however, for a local dollar store I find most everything I need here plus some. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. Well stocked and often contain items much cheaper than walmart or other similar variety stores. This Dollar General is a great place to shop but it would be nice if they opened more registers at a time when the line leads all the way to the back of the store. I never have the line issue at Family Dollar in Merkel but they just don't carry all the items I shop for. Be prepared to wait and you can't be in a rush for this store but if you have extra time it will save you money in the long run.

Very chaotic atmosphere. Inventory is not rotating well, especially in the clothing dept. Ending up with fall jackets, shorts, summer prints, and fall clothing crsmpef togetherStaff is always low. Not enough employees, but the ones there are very nice. Would actually rate 2 1/2 stars

Employees were helpful and friendly. Floors were filthy. Isles were disorganized and cluttered with carts from the truck delivery. Products were in the floors where they were knocked off of the shelves.

I would give it 5 stars,but that store is very crowded,the clothes are just thrown everywhere and bunched together to where I couldn't even find what I was looking for,but the people that work there are very nice.

Doller General is a great little store for greeting cards, Birthday gifts for kids, or items needed with the quick access of a convenience store. Inexpensive too!

A girl stole my phone and she ran into the Dollar general I cuss give me my damn phone back Dollar General called the law on me mind you I have never disrespected them and I'm banned from store there's only like 3stores and they are the closest happen over 6 months still

Went to dollar general in Abilene off of legget St. And the women and the other women were the worst I have ever experienced,she pissed me off and I will Never go there again
