The staff here are always nice and friendly towards me here. This isn't my usual David's/Brookshire Brothers, but I enjoy picking up a few things here on my way home whenever I'm on highway 6. They've got stuff that I can't really find at other David's/ Brookshire Brothers and sell it at decent prices. They also have a warm food deli with really good fried chicken strips and sides as well as a soda fountain. I get lunch here sometimes (three tenders and some potato wedges) and an unsweetened iced tea.

I live 14 miles away and always love stopping here for a quick grocery trip. The employees are friendly and the store has a lot for a small town.

Nice staff but the products are either expired or about to. Didn't realize till 4 days later I bought expired soy milk till we went to open it. It was one day past on the shelf when I got it. Produce isn't much better. Guess we will be making the further trip to Clifton from now on. I'm done with this place. Also from reading past reviews about similar issues over the last 5 years you do not take any of this into consideration. So don't bother saying you will. I think we all know the answer.

Small town store with the necessities for everyday living. Nice to go into a place that is not big box. Very friendly associates and very clean. Will shop there again when I am in town.

I know times are hard but they have some of the worst produce I have ever seen. Some of the cashiers and management are absolutely rude. There are several employees in the store but only 1 cashier at a time. The checkout line is ridiculous. I go to this store when it is a must have to.

It’s a shame that basically on grocery store in town doesn’t have a “good feel” on customer service . ‼️‼️ Not knowing how long the bad weather would last we were shopping for food supplies. 9:05pm (arrived about 8:30) we were alerted abruptly by a very annoyed employee that they were closed , the tone and facial expressions were beyond unnecessary.. had I known Brookshires in Clifton was still open i would have left my basket in the aisle we were so rudely approached on..no desire to shop there again even if it is only store in town‼️‼️

It's the employees that makes this a good experience for me. Good little store. Good Mgr. who hires good people. Especially during the pandemic. I have alot of respect for them being there as essential workers. I could go elsewhere but I like these guys.

A couple of younger cashier's are nice but the older lady in Deli is not nice but grumpy and rude. I was wanting Lipton instant tea and all they had was decaf. Not cool especially when I drive 15 miles to get stuff. Will be going to Clifton for most stuff now.

Brookshire's is a great store to get a lot of chicken to go. They have a great produce section & store is always clean. My daughter has works there for a while. They are really good to her & the rest of the workers.

Brookshire Brothers has been great for our community! It's nice, clean, and priced fair for a small town store. The employees are great! Diane, Sheryl, Rick, and Janeane make you feel like family! The other employees do a great job as well!!!

So it is close to the state park & the staff was decent as were the prices. Should make for a 5 star review BUT the cashier ruined our experience. Young, white, brunette, she starts snatching our food scanning it aggressively. When I finally said "how are you?" She rolled her eyes saying nothing. Then snapped at a stocker (who was busy stocking) "BAG THEM NOW!" He had food in his hand and said "I can't" she yelled "WHAT?!" & he did bag our items. I hope this young fella isnt always treated so poorly! I hope this young girl doesn't usually act like this, it really ruins the whole experience of a small town grocery store.

They had everything I was looking for (and more) but not the lowest prices. This store is in a rural town near a lake and state park so tourist trap economics applies.

Thanks to corporate person Susan and local asst Mgr Shelby I will be getting sales product. However root cause of problem needs to be resolved. Cannot determine if root cause is in advertising or ordering so I’m still unsure of sales paper.

Every time I come in for produce, it just sucks! The avocados are never ripe...the fresh cabbage was all wilted, the packaged shredded cabbage was all expired. It sucks!
