That "religious" woman that only speaks Spanish needs to be told something about her "religious" radio bs. The "religious" music is bad enough but tonight she had some "preacher" yelling about something on the radio. All the customers were very uncomfortable and annoyed.Also the other day same employee kept scamming my items wrong, first that my total was $42, eventhough my credit card had enough money and she was being very annoying about it I took out a couple of items but then she gave me a total of $47, I brought it to her attention then she canceled the transaction and rescanned everything correctly once I removed my Halloween items. Was this on purpose? I used to come to this store for convenience not her choice of backwards "religion."Also the employee in the picture is very rude and demands that the customers that he's being rude to don't talk "rude" to him! And after being told that HE is the rude one he sarcastically replies that he's sorry he hurt your feelings! He doesn't wear a name tag and claims he's a "manager."The store is always messy and they are always behind on restocking. Lately I just try to avoid this store when I can. I suggest other people do the same.

Cindy is a sweetheart and really makes me feel as if I'm at a family owned establishment instead of some big box store. She is a breath of fresh air and always has a smile on her face and manages to put one into mine... I don't know how she does it.

I was surprised that things were pricey, but what was the worst was that i asked for help and the associate said she knew the product exists in the store but has no idea where it was. She made no effort to look. The line to checkout was pretty long and no one helped cut the line.... This is just a convenient store without gas...

Place is busy. Only two cashier's and long lines. The store items are nearly arranged. Prices are from $1 and up. Spent $50 for a quick trip of bread, lunch meat, chips, soda and some candy bars. Should have gone to HEB.

I was trying to buy some letters that were marked for 75¢. When I was done shopping I went to the front to pay and they rang up $1.00, I told the cashier that I saw them for 75¢ and she sent a lady named Sophie to go check. I saw her scratching something off on the shelf so I went back there to go see what she was doing and I saw that she was scratching off the sticker that said 75¢ and then she tried to tell me that it was marked as a $1.00. I asked is she would give them to me since they were marked as 75¢ before she took the sticker off and she said okay and then we started to walk to the front. She then asked me how many I had and I told her that I had four. She told me that the system could only do two price overrides which I then replied that I could purchase two and my daughter could purchase the other two. Her response was that the system could only do two. I have never had a problem with this location but Sophie made it the worst experience I have ever had at a dollar general. She wasn’t in the mood to make sure her customers were highly satisfied.

Its crazy busy with what's going on in the world...I truly feel dollar general employees are not being paid enough at these times...the customers are impatient, but the workers are doing their jobs above expectation..going above and beyond..u can tell they are tired but still give 150% u can see they work with pride. Trying to keep store clean and the demand of the public is no easy job. Myself and several of my friends,coworkers as well as family would like to see dollar general employees receive an extra incentive . After all Heb just gave each of its employees $100 bonus. I use to work for all three companies:dollar general,HEB, and Walmart. Customer service is a stressful job then what's going on in the world. They are taking care of others' families while. Being away from their own..please reward them.

A week ago stopped by after being told they had toilet paper, after checking the aisle went to the register and asked the clerk of they had any, she stated they would be stocking it tomorrow morning. No biggie I wait outside for my friend who was getting essentials as well, he walks out with a 12 pk of toilet paper, so I ask him where he got it? He said the clerk had it behind the register. I go back inside and tell clerk that she just told me that the toilet paper would be stocked tomorrow morning, she said yes sir. So explain to me why the gentleman that just walked out had a 12 pk of tp? She looks at the other clerk and she picks up a 4 pk of tp and says this is all we have left. Its good to know that the clerks are delegating who gets essential items.Now today I go to get some items air freshner dispensers and some led light bulbs 5 of 25 purchase with 2- 2 dollars off per dispenser. Well as I'm about to pay the elderly clerk tells me I cant use the coupons because its for future purchase. I tell her ma'am this is my 3rd and 4th dispenser. She asks well where are the coupons in the dispensers? I dont know I'm here for the items not to get interrogated. She rings me up and I'm out.Great Customer Service is hard to find especially in this store.

Ok so this place was disgusting, disorganized could not find what i needed to find workers standing around doing nothing only 1 was in the register boss was chilling in break room not even trying to put workers to work. The bathroom was too disgusting and the store itself was dirty. I would not recommend this store to any1

I don't usually go to Dollar General, but lately I have started going as they have some things I need and looking for. Problem is that the aisles are too narrow, which they are at at Dollar Generals.

I love my dollar general in Mercedes tx the staff is so friendly and helpful i can go in there anytime and look for what i need an be out in a jiffie they have every thing organized and easy to find

Occasionally, ad sales items aren't in stock. Frustrating when you go in for an awesome sale and there's no more of that item because they don't order sufficient merchandise
