My family and I stopped by here on our way home. I ordered a coffee and it is one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while! However, the 5 star review is based on the customer service I received. I didn’t get her name but she checked me out and we had a short conversation and she was so incredibly kind and hospitable. The customers inside were eating and recommended the soup! We will be stopping anytime we pass through 💛

I got there ten minutes before close and snagged a slice of the last pie they had for the day. It was a tasty strawberry cheesecake with a wonderful graham cracker crust. The shop was very cute! Locally made soaps and other boutique products alongside well picked antiques.

Traveling the Texas panhandle on US287 is an interesting route. Cotton country, canyon country, from the Oklahoma border to Wichita Falls there are small towns with history. A 'must-stop' location is The Cottage in Memphis. Awesome gifts and antiques. Amazing food. And the best people you could hope to meet. If it's on your way and the time is right, spend a little time here. You will be happy for the experience.

A complete treasure in an unexpected cove, I really enjoyed myself here. Judy and Sasha were so lovely and kept me company with good conversations while I ate. After I was done I walked around as it’s also a very cute boutique filled with everything from clothes and jewelry, to candles and honey! Just an eclectic eccentric place. Not to mention the sweet tea was delicious.

Me and my wife passed this store many of times in our tractor trailer and finally had the chance to stop . Let me tell you this places coffee is out of this world. It's really roasty and taste like how coffee should taste . The woman who works here also bakes her desserts fresh . My wife and I had the coconut cream pie and it was simply perfect. Not super sweet to the point of making you sick , just sweet enough to make you want to eat more . If you're a truck driver parking at the loves do yourself a favor and walk the half mile through town and grab you some fresh coffee and sweets . She also has a really nice lunch menu in here as well.

VERY warm and cozy place. Good coffee, it's quiet, there's plenty of seating, and homemade pies ta'boot! They also have a selection of custom honeys, jellies, jams, pickles, peppers, sandwiches, teas, candles, soaps, salts, gifts, and local art.

Homemade goodness, just like mom wished she could make. Had the blackeyed pea and chicken soup. Man, what a treat! Apple cobbler with real ice cream. It was very good and worh the indulgence. Don't pass this place by, like we did so may times. A great place to take a break and enjoy a wholesome meal. Don't forget the wide assortment of coffee. It gives the big names a run for their money.

Very nice, quaint little place. My husband and I do a lot of traveling from Dallas going west usually to Santa Fe. This place is actually a landmark in our trip, it just stands out to us. The people working there were very nice, the coffee was great. I had a 4.5ft (1.5m) bamboo flute I carried in with me that the people working there seemed to love. It was a very nice time.

Excellent food and service! I had the special of the day, which was a brisket sandwich with sweet corn and potatoe salad. Get the peach tea if you like flavored teas.The owner was so sweet, and I ended up buying some reasonably priced CBD drops as well. Very cute shop attached to the little diner. Don’t pass this one up!

The staff were friendly. Best peach tea we’ve ever had! Sandwiches were great and service was quick. We got: The Reuben, has a tangy cheese dressing and lots of corned beef, and the chicken salad sandwich, which is served on an incredibly light, sweet croissant.

We stopped in on our drive from Dallas to Denver for a coffee break. What a lovely spot!!..... and one of the best latte's ever!! The owner is very friendly, makes homemade desserts daily! They have a quaint dining room and warm inviting shop you walk through......with candles, rustic furniture & home decor. It smelled so good as we walked in I couldn't resist buying a candle. She can ship anywhere. If you are driving on hwy 287 through Memphis, Texas do yourself a favor and stop in, take a load off, and have some coffee, pie and helping of good ol' Texas hospitality!!

This was a delightful store with a surprising array of quality clothes and I purchased a sweater here. I also really like the jars of pickled items as well as preserves and jellies. Judy the owner was very friendly and has been there a long time. A very friendly store

What a great find while on the road.. Healthy, delicious and affortable. Judy the owner is a great host and greeted us as soon as we came in the door. We had the chicken salad and a.freah salad with homemade dressing.. Goodness the only bad part is I didn't leave room for dessert. 😉 Stop in!

You ever want to go back in time and eat at grandmas house again? Walk into The Cottage in Memphis Tx. Pick out a antique table that reminds you of your grandma’s then sit down in a old rickety chair. And then after you order you can walk around the store and before you know it. It ready and OMG best sandwich ever . I had the rostbeef with cheese, the house bacon dressing on a buttery croissant bun. It was like it melted in my mouth. And the peach tea with an actual slice of a peach in the ice. If that wasn’t enough how about a big slice of coconut cream pie. Definitely worth the trip

I found this coffee shop etc..on a trip ..on recommendation of a police officer.. I saw in the square...coffee was great!..and the lady that worked there or owned it? was very helpful...I loved the coffee fresh ...so when I returned home ..made it a point to head back there...was not disappointed ..besides my ice coffee..with caramel salt mmmm..then I saw bread putting ..decided to get that too..It looked homemade still in pan..OMG loved it..if you're on 287 its worth stopping..KC
