I had my first visit to Melissa Feed & Seed on Saturday and LOVED IT! I grew up in a small farming town where everybody knew everybody and if you had any free time you went to the feed store to catch up on what was going on. Well, I walked in the door and there were half a dozen people just standing around visiting with the owner and one of the employees! I want my son to get a taste of what simple living is and he got his first taste on Saturday.... We introduced ourselves as new residents of Melissa and stood there for the next half hour just visiting and learning about our new town - I knew I was home!!The prices are amazing (1/3 of the big box stores on fertilizer) and the people are fantastic. While my first visit was pretty simple, they did have a nice assortment of a number of different yard and hardware type items that will keep me from having to drive back into McKinney for most things.Thank you for remembering what a great customer experience is!!!
