DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!!Both my daughter and I are dealing with the flu right now. After our primary sent my daughter’s prescription, later that same day I was told her medicine was ready. I get there and I’m informed they don’t have any in stock. Annoyed, but no big deal. The flu is running rampant so I get it.I’m then told I WOULD need to transfer the prescription. Again annoyed but whatever let me get my baby her medicine.I call the receiving pharmacy, they tell me they have yet to get any prescriptions for us because CVS HAS YET TO RELEASE IT!!!At this point I’m over it! I call CVS and I get the worst excuse one could fathom. I talk to the pharmacist who was extremely passive aggressive both in person and over the phone. Her ignorant tail tells me well the receiving pharmacist needs to call us. Mind you I’m given the run around for 24 hours WITH A SICK CHILD!!! Whoever they have as the pharmacist, I hope she never makes another dollar in medicine!

This CVS experience was terrible. I spent 20 minutes in the drive-through only to be told at the window that they couldn't process my insurance. After waiting over 40 minutes in three different lines inside, I finally got my kids' medicine. The staff was incredibly unprofessional, and I wish there was another pharmacy in Melissa.

We desperately need another pharmacy in Melissa! I waited over an hour for a prescription they didn’t even have in stock. I wonder how many hours they would’ve left me waiting if I hadn’t gotten back in the line! There is Always a line all the way around the building for the drive through and never ending lines inside that barely move. It’s horrible when you are sick and your doctor has sent your prescription here because they Never answer the phone so you can’t even get it transferred.

If I could give negative stars I would. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST cvs I have ever been to in my life. The customer service is AWFUL. They don’t communicate with each other. They don’t know when your meds will be done. They send you inside from station to station because no one knows anything! Then they start helping you and constantly stop in the middle of doing so to do other things. Then they act like they don’t know how to access your insurance. I’d drive 30mins-1hr to avoid this CVS in the future.

This is the worst pharmacy ive ever went too. I really hope its not the pharmacy that is going into the new Krogers in melissa!! The pharmacist is ver rude and never gets my medicine right. I always have to go in and have them fix it. There very unprofessional the wait is unreal. Its never a Pleasant visit to the pharmacy when i have to pick up my medicine. I cant stand the place but its the only pharmacy around there. I will be changing pharmacy ASAP when another pharmacy opens in this town never again will i use Cvs after this. Sad ive been using Cvs for many years but after years of this im done!!! Plus there prices are the highest around so done with them. If your looking for a pharmacy i wouldn't use them at all!! Its horrible. The customer service is horrible!!

Wait times are very long. I have literally watched half a football game waiting for my daughters medicine. Also when trying to use delivery to save myself time it doesn't get delivered and then I still have to go and try to get my already paid for medicine to be asked to pay for it again and then not get my paid for shipping charges back.

Absolutely horrible service through the pharmacy. The lines and wait times are always 30-45 minutes no matter what time of day you go there. One car takes up to 15 minutes minimum at the window and going inside doesn’t speed the process up much more than that.

I would recommend getting your vaccines somewhere else! For weeks the CVS mobile app was giving me notifications how I was cleared to get a pneumonia shot and a covid shot after verifying my age and the last time I had a vaccine.I show up for my appointment and the pharmacist quickly dismisses me away telling me I'm not qualified for either one!Go somewhere else for vaccines!

Doesn't fill scripts when called in, doesn't give notice when they are out of meds, after making you wait on hold for a script they were supposed to have.

The store itself is fine. The pharmacy on the other hand is TERRIBLE. Bunch of people standing around while there are people waiting in line. And there is no sense of urgency at all. I am not one to complain about having to wait. I understand how it can be. But it’s like this every time I pick up a prescription. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because the people are usually nice and the store itself is fine.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. This place is awful. This CVS takes an insane amount of time filling prescriptions. It’s the pharmacist. He wants to verify every bottle leaving the pharmacy and often is working a massive pile of verifications instead of trusting his staff to do it. I’m sure anyone working here would not last long under the micromanagement system the pharmacist has his techs performing. CVS needs to get in here and fix this location.

How can you rate a place without any stars bc this place doesn’t deserve one. I can’t believe this is a place of business. The workers are huddled up chit chatting while the drive through line is wrapped around the building and the inside line is down the aisle. Who manages this? I can’t understand how this is acceptable.

Would give 0 if I could. This pharmacy is terrible. The phone is never answered. Drive through with 4 cars take like nearly an hour sometimes. Like seriously city of Melissa and CVS you can do better. Please get better more attentive staff. My prescriptions need to be on time and half the time they are not. I’m seriously about to just move everything over to a pharmacy in McKinney. I could get there and back or though a drive through faster than it would take me to get through the CVS 5 minutes away from me. Someone needs to start caring about their jobs and who they hire!

If you have plenty of time to kill, this place might be ok for you.Today was the last time I will get my prescriptions here. They are always very slow, I expect that. But today I was on hold waiting to talk to someone in the pharmacy for about 40 mins. Never got to talk to a person. While on hold I drive 15 miles and waited in line until I finally got to talk to someone. I questioned why they didn't answer the phone, the pharmacist said "not while we are busy. We give priority to the people in the store first." I appreciate that, but I went out of my way to drive to the pharmacy to hear that the prescription was on hold and was not ready. Complete waste of my time. But, like I said. Never again.

This is the worst pharmacy ever, they have issues keeping medications in stock as common as amoxicillin, they have the slowest service, and they even messed up one claim where they never gave me the medication but the insurance was billed so i was ineligible for a refill for a sizable amount of time for my hypertension medications... I have now moved all of my family prescriptions out of this one. I'd rather drive to McKinney and save on time and energy than deal with this one... And it is worse when your kid has a 104 fever and the best they can do is get you the prescribed amoxicillin 14 days later... And they don't pick up their call like ever!

I've lived in multiple states & CVS is the same across the country. Absolutely impossible to get in touch with an actual human being through the prompts on the phone & when you actually do you're on hold for 30 minutes. Prescriptions filled on Monday aren't ready until Thursday. Peoples lives are at stake if they can't get their medication and they make it impossible to know what's going on. Truly so upsetting.

There's a reason everyone hates this store. They're simply incompetent. Do not simply walk, but run from this place. You will have better luck driving to Kroger at 380 and lake forest. You'll actually get your prescriptions filled and updates on those prescriptions.Third time I've been here and waited over an hour and told to come back the next day. It's worse when it's your sick kid.

For the past year, the pharmacy service has gone totally downhill. What was once a very smooth operation just two years ago has gone downhill dramatically. It takes way to long to fill a prescription. I've had to go to CVS at ElDorado and Custer to get vital diabetic insulin, the Melissa store continually fails to order sufficient quantities to fill my prescription. If you are one of the unfortunate customer wanting/waiting to talk to the Pharmacist Tech, good luck...they never answer the phone....in fact, on numerous occasions while waiting to pick up my prescription, I could hear the phone ring and ring with only 4 pharmacy staff members in attendance. They need better management oversight...and they need it now.A minus 10 for performance and customer service.

Called four times during a six hour period. Sat on hold for twenty minutes each time with no answer. I just had back surgery and I had to get myself into my car and drive there because no one was answering. The pharmacist saw me leaning on my crutches in pain and proceeded to ignore me tor ten minutes. He didn’t do anything until I grabbed a chair and sat in front of the window because I was in so much pain. He then tells me they are out of my prescriptions and he can’t transfer them to another. I told him I wished they had answered earlier so I could have made other arrangements. He’s response was, “I called during a busy time.” There was one person in the drive thru when I arrived and four pharmacy staff “working.” Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been too.

Probably the worst pharmacy in DFW. They won't answer their phone, wait times are usually painfully long. They seem to always be out of stock on one prescription or another, then they won't even try to contact you to let you know that they are out of stock for the medication you waited in the slow line.

This CVS is very clean and all items are easily found on always stocked shelves and the staff is great. The team member who assisted me was friendly & helpful. He guided me through the member card and coupon credit at checkout quickly and efficiently.

The pharmacy hours are ridiculously short. They always seem unorganized.

The pharmacy sucks. Always huge delays with filling orders. They tell you it's ready tomorrow morning, and when you come the next day in the afternoon, they say come back tomorrow. Then when you come the next day say they need a half hour to fill it. They don't pick up the phone either so you can't call first to make sure. The phone line disconnects constantly too before you get to wait on hold for an hour for no pickup. I can deal with that nonsense for regular prescriptions cause I can just request them earlier than needed but if you have something you need ASAP do not go here.

If I could rate this CVS pharmacy 0 stars I would. The last 3 prescriptions have not been filled as promised. This last one I waited in the drive through line over 30 minutes, the woman told me it would be a few more minutes and to come inside. I get inside and am told it’s ready but to get in line and wait, another 20 plus minutes and counting… never again.

Cannot get through drive-thru line without waiting at least 30+ minutes. Cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Cannot get a manager to answer the phone. When CVS first came to Melissa they were amazing!! They ran out the local pharmacy and had all those scripts transferred to CVS. Big mistake!!! Now there's only one option in Melissa! Ugh! That's what happens with big chain stores. It's not the fault of the poor workers in the store. It all has to do with upper management! HIRE SOME STAFF!!

Not organized and efficient. It takes way too long to fill a prescription compared to any other pharmacy I've used in the past. They need to brush up and stay on top of it. This is the only pharmacy in Melissa, I expect them to be ready for customers

I would give 0 stars if I could. Been using this location for years for prescriptions but I’ve finally had enough. Besides the hour long wait to simply pick up medicine, they do not honor their return policy. The lady at the counter did not care at all when I brought the prescription back HOURS after being picked up with receipt and unopened even though it says on the receipt you can. When I explained it contradicted with other medicine I was taking she suggested I dispose of $150 worth of pills and pointed to a trash can in the corner. When I asked to speak to someone she ignored me.

Because I can’t give a negative number! Absolute the worst Pharmacy on this earth! It’s worth the 20 extra minute drive to go to Walgreens or an actual drug store. CVS pharmacy, never answer the phone! They never have the medication you need. Last, it takes them days to refill one script! I miss my MedPro!

First time here. At the pharmacy line. Been waiting over 30 mins and have only moved up two cars. Still have 4 cars in front of me and two cars behind me and the way this is designed with curb and huge drainage you are stuck! So total time to get to window , over 47 minutes. This is totally ridiculous. Plus they need to clean their pharmacy windows. Really dirty and like some one had some chicken express and wiped their hands on the windows. On the inside !!!!

Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes before they closed. I pulled up when it was my turn (2 cars were ahead of me) and I wait. I see 3 Pharmacists, working. They see me, multiple times and say nothing. After 15 minutes of waiting, because my wife needs her new meds, I see them even laugh after looking in my direction.I went inside to talk with them, still being ignored. After they finally ackonledge me after I say hello several times, i explain that I've waited for almost 40 minutes and was ignored, and im told that the Registers cannot be opened and that I wasnt waiting there.Im not even mad that I couldnt get the meds, Ill get it moved to a 24/7 one if I can. But could someone not hop on the speaker and just say something. Just be decent and act like they gave a shi*t. The fact that 3 of your Reps could be so rude at once, only one wearing a mask btw, is almost profound.
